Welcome to the Northwoods!!!

This spacious house is available for family or group getaways.
Whether you want a relaxing vacation or an outdoor adventure (see below), this centrally located 4 bedroom, 4 full bathroom house with hot tub and ample parking (for vehicles, trailers, atv's, side by sides, snowmobiles, etc.).await your vacation dreams.

Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, if you decide to prepare your own feast, including: glass top electric range, nice dishes and silverware, pots, pans, bakeware, microwave, crockpot, blender, mixers and a dishwasher for clean up. A dinning table that can seat all your guests. A secure Wifi internet and Roku TV in the living room and 2 bedrooms. A bar area with small sink and refrigerator

Depending on your season of choice we have a lot to offer in the area, all within a 10 mile radius.

Spring - hiking and rushing waterfalls

Summer - 2 area golf courses, hiking trails, fishing on many area lakes or Lake Superior, ATV and side by side trails, bike trails, waterfalls, Saxon Harbor, Black River Harbor, etc.

Fall - Take in the fall colors with one of the best views on top of Copper Peak, Porcupine Mountains and Lake of the Clouds..

Winter - 5 area ski hills, many miles of snowmobile trails in Gogebic & Iron Counties, ice fishing

Ski Weekend at Big Powderhorn

This was a great house for a large group. Plenty of rooms, bathrooms, blankets, dishes, common spaces, arcade games, board games, hot tub. Great communication and responsiveness from the owner. Overall a really nice experience. We'll come again!

Lots of space

This is a beautiful home. I call it that because you feel at home the moment you walk in. Check in and check out was so simple. We contacted the owner for one issue and he quickly stopped in and fixed it. Wonderful stay!

Wedding weekend rental

We rented this property for the weekend of my son's wedding in Bessemer, MI. I was looking for a place that would house all my family so we could all be together. This place met that need perfectly. The beds were comfy and the house was clean. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends. And the host always answered my questions in a timely manner. Thank you for a great stay!

Great place for a group!

We had 10 guys here for a long weekend. Was a perfect place for us. Beds were comfortable, the livingroom set up worked great with the tv and bar. Kitchen has everything you need from spices to baking pans. Nice dining table for 10 too. We walked about a mile over to the Stormy Kromer factory store and also walked to a local bar. Got 10" of snow while we were there and enjoyed a few of the local trails. Owner Jim was very helpful too!

Family ATV Trip

Our family loved our time in MI/WI. The house was perfect for a large group with kids (2 year old) and dogs. Plenty of parking for out ATVs and distance to trail was great. Hot tub and the laundry was a great bonus. Would definitely stay again!

Great location for large group near the Porkies

The place looked as posted on the VRBO listing plus an additional queen bed in the bunk bed room so everyone had space. Having the grill and hot tub was great, although the grill needed to be cleaned by us since it had old food residue on it when we arrived. All four bathrooms had a shower which was awesome for our group of 10 adults. We brought a couple dogs with us on the trip and the large grass yard was a great time for them. All in all, the size and amenities listed were provided and we had a very pleasant time there.

Wonderful

Everything was clean and organized and well taken care of. Lovely and spacious for our group of seven. The hot tub was wonderful after skiing all day. Very comfortable beds. Kids loved the old-school arcade games. Would DEFINITELY come again.
