This home features 5 bedrooms with a NEW HUGE firepit for relaxing after a long day! Minutes to see the Trolls at Bernheim Arboretum, The Parklands, Churchill Downs and the Famous Bourbon Trail!! Very private view from the rear of the home with plenty of room for outside activities! Plenty of room to spread out even with large groups! Firewood provided. Upgraded linens and towels and free WIFI! Large wrap around porch to watch nature while having coffee in the mornings. Outside seating with additional camping chairs for large groups. Lamps with USB charging stations and wireless charging pads. This home sleeps 11 comfortably and is in the middle of three bourbon trails! Only 5 miles to major shopping, Walmart, Kroger, pubs and restaurants. Wineries within minutes! Pond at end of the street for fishing. Just a 30 minute drive to Taylorsville Lake. Several parks and pay fishing lakes in the area, one being within a 5 minute drive. Beautiful house in quite location

A beautiful house with plenty of room. It's in a quiet location not too far from Louisville and very affordable. We only stayed a night, but it was spacious for us to be able to relax and hang out for the evening.Our minor issues was finding the correct driveway in the dusk was a little tricky. It was raining hard when we arrived and there isn't a paved path from the parking spots to the porch, so we had to slosh through the muddy yard. We did our best to not trudge wet shoes in the house though!There were snacks, water and coffee available plus very comfortable couches and beds. Thank you!

Great place for multi families!

Such a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. Stayed for our girls volleyball tourney and it was so nice to get back to the house.

Guys Bourbon Trail

Five friends tasting some bourbon. The house location provided easy access to distilleries in the Louisville, Frankfort and Bardstown areas. The house itself was very clean, comfortable and roomy for 5 guys. Enjoyed the inside fire and a movie after touring. Last night grilled some steaks and had a fire pit. Tammie immediately responded to all questions and was very accommodating when our times changed. Will book again next time we're in the Louisville area.

Graduation celebration

Our family came to Louisville for our daughter’s graduation. Tammie’s house was welcoming, comfortable and just wonderful! Everyone enjoyed our stay and we would all like to have a house like this of our own!

What a fabulous stay!

We could not have found a more perfect location and home for our family Christmas trip! This home is wonderful and Tammie was so easy to work with and so responsive to any questions we had. And a very convienent location for our family to meet. Very quiet and so many amenities. We hope to beable to come here again in the future. We had lots of room and the kitchen allowed us to make our usual very large Christmas Eve dinner. I highly recommend this home !!!!!!!!

Great host and property

The host of this property is great. She communicates well and was easily accessible. The property is clean and in a great location if you are looking for things south of Louisville. Great layout for families with kids and in-laws.

Beautiful House!

We loved this accommodation! The house was clean, beautiful, spacious and comfy! It was the last of three accommodations for us (two families of four) and it was definitely a blessing! Tammie is an amazing host and gave us such great personal attention and care before and during our stay. She is friendly and was so helpful answering any questions I had. The pool was a fun bonus for the kids and they loved having their own space upstairs. The neighbourhood was quiet and the drive to the house was lovely. The washer and dryer were very handy as well. We loved everything about this house including morning coffee out on the deck on the first day. Tammie also left us a gift basket of s’more supplies! The last two days it rained pretty hard so we couldn’t cook them outside on the fire pit but we did make them in the oven! They were delicious! The rain did not damper our spirits, as it was cozy and relaxing inside the house. Thank you Tammie!!! We wish you all the best!

Family vacation perfect spot

This property is so welcoming as if I was in my own home! The house is close to many different tours or events. The hostess is amazing! She works very hard at making sure we had all our needs covered. She goes above and beyond! This was perfect for our family vacation! I am glad we had the opportunity to stay there!

Great Location

Fabulous Weekend

This was a great place to meet for a family get-together. There was enough space for the adults to chat and the kids to run around. The yard was great for a small pickup t-ball game, and the pool was clean and satisfying. We had hot dogs and s'mores around the fire pit and the wood and firestarter were provided. Overall we had an awesome time and made amazing memories.

PGA getaway

We had a group of 8 of us for the PGA and a quick trip to Buffalo Trace. We had a great time and the house suited our needs perfectly. The only thing better would have been an upstairs half bath. Host had a fire pit and chairs for us and we figured out the charcoal grill. All in all a great place to spend a couple of days out in “horse country”

Real estate appraiser since 2000. Originally from Nashville but moved to Louisville in 1991 where I started a family and raised my children. I am now residing in a very small town in Tennessee but still travel to Kentucky once a week.

It is pretty much in the center of 3 bourbon trails, convenient to practically any recreational activity...hiking, kayaking, bourbon tastings, wineries, concerts, shopping, touring downtown etc. It is off the beaten path yet only minutes to major dining, shopping and interstates. Quiet peaceful surroundings with Floyds Fork River in the distance behind the home.
