Great House

House was close to beach and many stores and attractions. Plenty of room for the family. Second bathroom was a huge plus.

Great house close to beach and restaurants

This was a great beach house, and ideal for a small family. The location is minutes from the beach, and walking distance to some of the greatest restaurants in Kill Devil Hills. The kitchen is particularly spacious and well equipped. The sand pit below the house was a huge hit with our toddler.

Great communication throughout the process by owner. Beautifully redone kitchen. Location can't be beat, short walk to beach, to several restaurants and swellsa brewery. Linens and towels provided. Mattresses could use updating. If owner does this, this likely will be a yearly house we would rent.

The house was a little bit aged and there were a few concerns like exposed wires on the floorboard in the dining room. The bathroom having the black rim around where it meets the wall. Other than that great location, close to the beach, within 3 minute walk. Linens provided were clean kitchen was very nice . Would recommend it to a friend

Great location

Great location, about 5 min walk to the beach (which wasn’t very crowded) and walk to a bunch of good restaurants as well. Not much traffic on the street so it was relatively quiet. Host was very responsive. Would definitely recommend this rental.

Great place with multiple activity options at home!!

We loved the covered sand pit under the house! It was very helpful on rainy days so the kids had an activity! Communicating with the owner was very easy and painless! We had a great week!!!

Plenty of space. Great new kitchen. Walking distance to beach. Trash was left from prior week and clean dishes were left in dishwasher

Great house and location

My family really enjoyed our stay here. With two teenagers, it was plenty big for all of us to hang out in the living areas- but bedrooms were good size for alone time as well. Kitchen was recently renovated and absolutely gorgeous- perfect for cooking or just hanging out. The ice maker was a major plus on those hot days! I found the house to be true to the photos online- the only minor surprise was the small size of the second bathroom. The shower is tiny! But it still works and it was fine. The house is well stocked with everything you need - even a beach cart and umbrellas. No need to bring too many of your own things. The furniture was comfy and the central air was a godsend. The house is a five minute walk away from the beach. Easy to get back and forth. The location is in the heart of the Kill Devil Hills/Nags Head main area - so you are very close to many restaurants and shops. The owner was great to work with - we had a small issue upon check in and he took care of it immediately. Very responsive. My family of four really enjoyed this house for a week of summer fun in OBX. Would definitely stay here again.
