It’s the edge of paradise in the Ozark hills of Missouri. Dry Fly Hide Away offers a cozy and relaxing cabin atmosphere for family and friends to gather inside or spread out on the spacious deck. For trout fishing enthusiasts, you are conveniently located between the two entrances and minutes from Bennett Spring State Park – so close, you can hear the morning and evening whistle! The 2-bedroom, 1-bath cabin sleeps up to 5 comfortably, features a fully equipped kitchen, plus entertainment ranging from games and cards, to darts and antenna tv.

Tissue only in toilet. No oil down the sink. Take trash to one of the dumpster in the Park.. Wash dishes, utensils, etc. and store when you leave.

My family very much enjoyed our stay in this cute cabin minutes from Bennet Springs Park. Great location and hosts! My only advice to owners is to get WiFi if available, and to install some solar lighting around house and especially on back deck. Would definitely stay there again!

perfect for a fishing weekend

My husband, son and 2 grandsons spent the weekend trout fishing. Said the cabin was just perfect for their needs. Great location, clean and well stocked. Had a great weekend.

Came down for the weekend with friends and family to do a little trout fishing and our stay here was the best. Property was close by to were we wanted to go.

Awesome cabin near the stream!

This was a perfect cabin for our fishing retreat! It was only 5 to 6 minutes from the stream, there was a great deck to hang out on after a day of fishing, and the kitchen had everything we needed. There was even a nice supply of spices, which is always a plus anytime you stay in a VRBO. We absolutely plan to stay here on our next trip to Bennett Springs!

Cute cabin!!

This cabin is very cute, well maintained, and well stocked. Our family has been to Bennett Spring every year for the past 25 years and we will rent this cabin again. Only downside is parking is on the road but it is a very low traffic area so still safe. Thanks for a great stay!

Everything was great! Place was clean, smelled great with the cedar wall boards. location was awesome being close to so many access points. We looked for a path down the hill to get to the river without driving but didn't see anything. Nothing to do with quality of stay, just if someone wants to know for future visit that driving to the park or any fishing access is a must from here. Owners were incredible to work with, fast responses with details and provided good recommendations for trout fishing. Wish we had a bit more time to spend in the area and will be back for Spring and Fall trips next year.

Great cabin!

We were very pleased with the place! Very close to the entrance to the park and Weavers (where my dad stays). The place was warm during the day but cooled down nicely in the evenings. They definitely put a lot of time and effort into making this place nice. The bathroom (bathtub/shower) was amazing! If we come back to Bennett Spring, I’ll definitely be looking this place up again!

You cannot be any closer to Bennet Springs State park without being IN IT. You can hear the whistle even inside the cabin. Clean, roomy and comfortable. Definitely will br staying again! - Tim R.

Great location, owner thought of everything

As the title reads, we are old fly fishermen who have been taking trips twice a year for many decades. We bring everything we need. This cabin (house) was one of the cleanest and best stocked places we’ve stayed in. We still used our own stuff, just didn’t need to, lol. Very nice place, great location. Will rent again in the future.

The cabin was very well stocked with essentials! BUT.. Parking was not good especially for us who drive big dually trucks which we had to had 4x4 to get outta the driveway part we used to unload our things. If you do drive a car, Be prepared to haul trash in your car. I was told to take it to the dumpster at the park. Not sure what park it was but hopefully I picked the right one. The cabin looked like it was under some small repairs/ renovations, the walls were either stained different colors, or not at all. Outside on the deck there were boards with exposed nails laying with the nails facing upward, found that out the hard way. Loose board on the outside Deck also. The owner was VERY awesome at returning a call/text thru the whole weekend. We will return to the area but I wouldn’t spend the money on here again for the rates that it cost me. Better to spend the money on a place that has the water/river lookin out the window.!!!

Guys trip

Three out of four people in our group would stay here again. PROS: -Location (close to Bennett Springs, local camp stores, and the Gravel Bar and Grill.) -Big deck -Spacious little cabin -Rustic feel -Good communication with owners -Quiet -Neat shower setup with multiple shower heads. Nice bathroom. -Darts in back room -Kitchen has everything you need -Had a cooler you could borrow -Multiple portable fans -Friendly neighbor CONS: -The air conditioner can't keep up during the day. It got hot. -The door knob lock worked fine, but getting the deadbolt to lock/unlock is a challenge. Was told by owner a day or two before our trip the lock was acting up and to finesse it a certain way to get it to work. Expect a delay when locking/unlocking deadbolt if you use it. -Good amount of mouse poop in the corner of living room. Someone in our group (not me) slept in their vehicle because of this. -BO like smell in back room sitting area. Bottom line... Would I stay here again? Yes. Would my three buddies stay here again? Two of them would.

We appreciate your review of our cabin Matt. In response, we learned a day or two after your visit that we had a septic tank issue and we are in the process of resolving the less than pleasant smells you referenced in the back rooms of the cabin. We've not had a mice issue since winter, so will have the housecleaner double check the corners. And, the AC does have a little trouble keeping up when its terribly hot, in the past it has always "caught up" at night.

Bennett Springs is the epicenter of fishing and family memories for us. In the '70's it was tent camping and bologna sandwiches. When our sons were old enough to enjoy fly fishing, we stepped up the lodging and food! So many memories at Bennet Springs include a wedding announcement by our older son; followed shortly by a bachelor party for our younger son! Now we hope to share our good times here with our grandson.
