Beautiful, well maintained home on Lake Michigan at Indian Point!

Indian Point of View, our home on Beaver Island has 2 bedrooms with one having a queen bed and the other a King Bed; a loft with a queen Murphy Bed; a large kitchen with dish washer and all amenities. It has a washer and dryer on the first floor and a deck with a gas grill. It has a stunning fireplace on the main floor and a fire pit outside at the waters edge. 9 bicycles to ride to Donegal Bay that has a beautiful sandy beach 1/2 mile away. It sleeps 6 adults and 2 children.

The house was in a perfect spot, view was spectacular. Just around the corner was Donegal Bay and the sunsets were amazing and the hour or two after sunset were even better. The house was clean and had most of what you needed for your stay.

A wonderful home to stay at. Clean, well maintained, comfortable, with a spectacular view out over the lake. Best gas grill on Beaver Island. Great fire pit with plenty of split wood.

We had a great stay! This place was clean, well appointed, firewood provided. Excellent instructions on how to use all parts of the of the property and amenities. This location is secluded yet close to town. The view is incredible and the fireplace is so cozy and beautiful on chilly nights.

Beaver Island beauty

This was our 1st time on Beaver Island. The Indian Point of View house really enhanced our stay. It was so peaceful and the view was great! The house has a well stocked kitchen with dishes and pans. There were some spices and dish soap available. There is a dishwasher too! At the time of our visit there was not any dishwasher soap, so you may want to pack that if you intend to use the dishwasher. We loved having a stereo with built in speakers. There is a TV available but we never turned it on. We enjoyed the fires in the fireplace. There are bikes available to use but it was pretty windy while we were there so we did not use them. There is also a nice firepit outside by the lake. We toured the island by car. We took lots of walks on the beach and on the road. We played a lot of games, read books and enjoyed the solitude! We were so lucky that we even enjoyed the northern lights, not once but twice during our 6 day stay! We highly recommend the Indian Point of View home.

A week in paradise

We spent the second weekend in August at this property, our first visit to Beaver Island. Everything was as promised and more. The location was quiet, and an easy bike ride to get to the beach at Donegal Bay, or all the way to St. James. We saw the sun rise and set over Lake Michigan, and spectacular northern lights. This place gets my top recommendation.

Quiet Getaway

Clean, comfortable home tucked away in the woods. Host was accommodating and communicative. Loved the natural fireplace even in late June, Beaver Island can be chilly!

Clean, quiet and oh so beautiful

We enjoyed our time at Indian Point and loved the cottage. The fire place is a work of art and we had a fire every night. The pictures on VRBO do not due this home justice. It is beautiful! All appliances work very well. Beds comfortable. Low temps did not allow us to bike ride. But next time we stay (in warmer weather) we will. The people of Beaver Island are very friendly and helpful. Grocery store provided everything we needed as did the restaurants in town. Highly recommend this cottage!

This is a lovely place to stay. The view of the water is breathtaking. The location is close to a beautiful sandy beach and the town. The house was clean and very comfortable.

Beautiful island home

Very nice property with a well designed home. Beautiful views of Lake Michigan and the nearby islands. You can see the upper peninsula on a clear day! Not to far from town either.

Immaculate home on Indian Point

We have stayed in many VBRO properties and we must say this home was probably the most clean. We had everything we needed to prepare our meals, and everything was comfortable. I did take one of the bikes out for a ride around the neighborhood. Beaver Island is our favorite place to be. This was a wonderful place to stay close to town. The beach is rocky but the views are beautiful! We would be happy to come back

What’s Not To Like?

Having previously resided on Beaver Island, it was a no-brainer when I saw the listing for this charming house rental on beautiful Lake Michigan. The property was well-maintained and clean with all the amenities! I only wish we could have stayed longer. There is something about that fresh island air that invigorates the soul. I highly recommend it!

Quiet comfort and great convenience!

If you want to leave the busy world behind and relax by the Lake Michigan shore in an incredibly well designed, beautiful home, this is the place! The home is modern, very well equipped and maintained, and snuggled in quiet woods. Only surprise was the lack of a tv connection so we streamed news. The owner was thoughtful and responsive both before our stay and the couple of times we needed information while we were there. Strongly recommended!

Beautiful property for a beautiful stay

This house and location was perfect. Nature was prolific, near a wonderful beach. The house was perfect for kids and adults—we had plenty of room and appreciated the two bathrooms and extra beds. The view out the front windows was lovely!
