This apartment is a spacious loft with a king size bed,kitchenette ,sofa ,table with chairs, private bathroom with multi jetted shower.Non contact keyless entry. Next door to an ice cream / gift shop. A coffee shop is two doors down. You will be minutes from the beautiful Breaks Interstate Park. You have free access to our three kayaks with paddles. There will be direct access to the spearhead ATV trail system. Walking distance to a pharmacy, dollar store, post office,coffee shop, ice cream and gift shop, and a medical clinic.

Good place and clean! Easy check-in. Enjoyed the area. Went hiking in Breaks Interstate Park. It’s about 7 miles away. Also rented ATV’’s in Haysi and enjoyed Spearhead Trails! Only a few restaurants in town.

Enjoyed our stay in the small town of Haysi. It gave us easy access to the Breaks Interstate Park. We also enjoyed visiting the gift shop located below the VRBO.

The room was great, clean, fun decor etc. It wasnt clear which doors needed to be locked upstairs so we used the back door which was off the alleyway which was quite dark at night.

Had a great stay in Haysi! What a friendly community. Love seeing this small town in the midst of creating such a welcoming atmosphere. Loved the loft. It is such a great space. If you ever got “rained out”, you would be happy being stuck I doors here with the great outside covered porch. We brought a home cooked meal for our first night and walked to Pizza Plus just one block away after our day at Breaks Interstate Park. It’s about a 15 minute super windy drive to the park. We highly recommend this property. It is fun and a bit funky. Great space with an awesome bathroom, solid WiFi, and good tv.

Wonderful stay in downtown Haysi, Virginia, in the loft above a delightful music store. Place was as advertised and very comfortable. Hosts were very accommodating. Come in October for the crooked music road festival in Haysi.

Beautiful place to stay, just a few qualms! First the good, this place is seriously beautiful, parking was great, the loft smelled nice at check in, WiFi was super easy to access, check in was seamless, amazing AC unit, love the Roku tv having Netflix was such a nice surprise, loved the back porch, loved the area so much, and am so thankful to have stayed in a beautiful loft! The not so good, the bed is pretty firm I can confidently say after two nights my back was aching. The water pressure wasn’t the best, the shower is gorgeous though. Barely any kitchen utensils or anything to cook with on the grill, ended up purchasing a few things and leaving them for other guests. This could be due to previous guests taking things home with them. The back porch has a weak spot that did fall through with my spouse slightly, definitely scary but no harm done. Not the cleanest floors, walked from the bathroom to the kitchen barefoot and noticed the bottoms of my feet were filthy. Nothing some socks or house shoes can’t fix. I’m never one to complain but for the price and for other guests I’d love to see these small problems resolved. Overall a gorgeous spot in a lovely town filled with good down to earth God fearing folks, the loft just needs a little tweaking is all and it would be the absolute perfect mountain getaway.

I loved this apartment! It was clean, in a great location, and Rita communicated quickly when I asked questions. I will definitely stay there again when I am there for work!

Weekend break in Haysi, VA

Lovely apartment, good location in centre of town, handy for the couple of restaurants there are and the supermarket. Great proximity to lots of good hiking. Enjoyed my weekend break.

Haysi is a cute little Mountain town just 15 min from the Breaks Interstate Park. There are a few restaurants and a decent Convenience store with a Subway. The Lofts were quiet and centrally located. The back Patio was furnished and lit. Amazing Bed and shower head. There was a Grill and Hot plate for cooking as well as a Microwave. The area has many runnable streams for kayaking or fishing nearby. ATV trails criss-cross the area. Take an Elk Tour in the Fall or Spring at the Park.Truly the last bit of Frontier left in Virginia.

Cute and Cozy

My husband and I have stayed in a lot of vacation rental properties and this one runs about an 8 on a scale of 1-10. It was adorable, for sure, and well appointed. It did lack some of the essentials, such as a dresser, and the bed is VERY firm. The kitchen included a large refrigerator, a microwave and a hot plate. We found only one spoon but they supplied toilet paper and paper towels, as well as bed linens, washcloths and bath towels. We could have used a couple of hand towels and another hook or two for hanging clothes in the bathroom but the shower was amazing! There is, however, no way to secure the bathroom door and it is made of wood planks with spaces in between, so make sure you’re comfortable with the person you’re staying there with because it is not 100% private. There is a really cute little covered back porch and the water is delicious! I’m a bit of a super taster so that’s important to me. The only real issue I had was with the thousand legger (bug) on the ceiling but only because I had to keep most of my clothes in my suitcase on the sofa since there was no dresser, which meant I had to close it to keep nosy, creepy crawlers out. But all in all, it was very nice, very clean and very private. We would recommend it!!

Great quaint stay

The place was a great surprise. The bed, shower, and TV were excellant. Decorating and amenities were A1. Highly recommend if you are visiting Breaks park.

Unique property in Haysi

We had a quick overnight stay at the Loft. Bed was very comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen. Owner/host replied quickly. We would stay again. FYI- things you’ll need to bring are bath soap, bottled water if desired, coffee and tea.

Perfect rental in a fun little town

Can't think of a bad thing to say about this property. It was a great option for that area. I had a couple of questions and Rita answered me quickly and it was just a great stay.

Space is true to it's name, a hidden gem in this beautiful area of SW Virginia. There was a little more access to a store or two nearby than I'd previously gathered, although just a heads-up, the adjacent coffee shop wasn't open on Saturday or Sunday. Would definitely stay here again, and would stay longer next time. The kayaks are an awesome extra, but it was hard for us to figure out locally where was the best place to use them. If you're staying here and heading to Breaks Park, it's about a 15 minute (very curvy) drive. Well worth the price, the experience was great!

Cute place

This was a really cute place. A little further from the Breaks state park than we expected. Had a few minor issues, but nothing major. Wife tore the bottom of her foot due to a nail sticking up from the floor. And the mice had a feast from our snack bag.

Quiet

The location was clean. There’s no stove and really no restaurants nearby unless you want pizza. The deck/back porch was dusty with leaves everywhere and some of the furniture was unsafe to sit on. Just be aware in case you have allergies. Inside is nice but there are multiple doors and we were unsure which areas we had access to. Overall very peaceful and quiet. We felt like we were the only people in the entire town after the businesses closed. People in the area are very friendly. If you don’t mind doing a little driving, I would recommend this location

A good surprise

The lofts are great! So unexpected. The rooms are beautifully decorated and large. Furnishings are excellent and our time there was very enjoyable. Also, I need to know if that Rita went out of her way to be helpful and accommodating. I couldn’t be more satisfied.

Weekend Getaway

Loft was super cute, fit our needs for a wedding in Grundy that brought us to that area. Definitely recommend saving the code (for the door) on your phone prior to getting to the area due to lack of service. The hosts were very easy to get ahold of when needed.
