Welcome to the Luna Lake House, your very own waterfront retreat!

Just 2 hrs from Boston and 1 hour from Portland, this is the perfect getaway. You get the entire house to yourself!

This 1,810 sq ft house has 100 ft of private waterfront, its own private dock (seasonal May to October), and a wood burning stove for your enjoyment. With incredible sunset views and it’s amazing location, you will make lasting memories in this one of a kind experience.

At 192 acres, Sokokis Lake is large enough to enjoy water skiing but also small enough that you can enjoy swimming, fishing, or lounging on your very own dock. There is a public boat ramp available and guests are welcome to use our dock.

Tucked away in the small town of Limerick, Maine you’ll enjoy this quiet slice of nature just 2 hours from Boston.

While you’ll spend most of your time enjoying the lake and this quiet getaway there are plenty of other things to do nearby. Dine in several nice restaurants within 20 minutes. And, all less than an hour is Portland (50 min), Kennebunkport (45 min), Old Orchard Beach (40 min), and Conway NH (50 min).

OCCUPANCY: 8 Person Maximum.

SECURITY CAMERA: There are security cameras on the front door and back deck for safety, security and liability reasons.

SMOKING: This is a NON-SMOKING/VAPING house.

PETS: Pets are NOT allowed. We love pets, however some of our family members are very allergic. There are several pet-friendly rentals in the area that would love to host your family.

CHECK IN/OUT: Check-in at 4:00 PM. Check-out at 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out are sometimes allowed on a case by case basis.

We had the most amazing time here. The location was peaceful and the lake was beautiful. The house was super clean and well-stocked with absolutely anything we could have needed. We could have packed a lot less!! Pictures don't do it justice. We spent the whole time paddleboarding and kayaking and just had the most wonderful time. Highly highly recommend!!

Well stocked with all the essentials for your vacation!! There was plenty of room for my three adult children, my daughter in-law and two grandchildren! We had a wonderful time with plenty of space to spread out!

Wish we could have stayed longer!

The host makes you feel welcome at arrival with key info and plenty of supplies (linens, towels, detergent, bathing toiletries). House has a great layout, and it has beautiful views of the lake - made it tough to leave! We enjoyed the kayaks - they had all sizes of life jackets, which made things easy. We were in the area for a wedding, but we enjoyed the property so much, our kids asked when we were coming back :) This is a great option for those looking for a remote lake house, that does not suffer your normal creature comforts - lots of room to do group activities or to spread out and take a break from others. Lastly, I had a couple of questions for the host - super quick and helpful responses.

Great family getaway

This cabin was probably the best-equipped vacation rental we've had. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboards, all the well-equipped kitchen, and even supplies for making s'mores (including kindling for starting the fire in the Solo stove). Tim was a great host and made sure everything was top-notch during our stay. We'd love to come back again!

Awesome lake house!

We had a wonderful visit. The house was perfect with all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed fishing off the dock, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. Wish we could have stayed longer! Tim was great and very communicative. We hope to return!

Our Fave

We have been renting lake houses in Maine for years. All members in our family agreed that this house was everyone’s favorite! From the moment you walk in you feel at home. There are personal touches by the owners to make you feel special everywhere you look. I didn’t even have to go to the store the first night as a bottle of wine and coffee were provided. The kids had plenty to do with all the water toys, games, big tv down stairs, etc. Access to the lake and kayaks were super easy. The large dining table, sunroom, and deck with table and chairs all have a view overlooking the lake. So wherever you are in the evening you always have a beautiful view of the sunset. We definitely hope to be back soon!

House on the lake

Just as advertised. Spic and span upon arrival, with welcoming wine, chocolates, and s'mores station. Plenty of games for the kids and adults. We also enjoyed the kayaks and sitting on the dock and by the fire pit. Just what we ordered!

Great Mini Ice-Fishing Getaway

The house was perfect for our two families. The kiddos enjoyed the 2nd living room downstairs and the adults took advantage of the wood stove and wonderful lake view in the upstairs living room. Spent our mornings skiing and afternoons ice fishing- caught bass, perch and sunfish. Kids also enjoyed playing some pond hockey. House had all the extras (coffee pods, s’mores bar, toiletries and even a bottle of wine and chocolates waiting at arrival). Very clean and host was attentive and easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend to families looking for a fun winter getaway. Considering a summer trip too!

Amazing Luna Lakehouse

We were so impressed with The Luna Lakehouse!! We walked in to an incredibly clean and well stocked house, which had beautiful views of the lake. Sitting on the big farm table was a bottle of wine, delicious chocolates, and a warm welcoming note from Tim and his family. The beds were very comfortable, and there were plenty of nice bath towels in both of the pristine bathrooms. I could ramble on and on, but one needs to experience it for themselves. I would highly recommend renting this home. Hats off to Tim and his family for a job well done👍

Perfect Wedding Weekend

My family had a wedding in the neighboring town of Limington and we wanted a nearby house for the 6 of us, 5 adults and 1 Child. The location was ideal, the house was extraordinarily well appointed, spotless and there was nothing that we needed that wasn't in the already in the house. Tim, the owner, was immediately responsive with answers as to where to dine. We loved the house so much that we're considering coming back next summer so we can take advantage of the Lake which is steps from the backyard. Bravo! Well done Tim!

Very clean and accommodating

This property exceeded my expectations. Pictures were great but it was even better in person. The house was immaculate and had all the amenities you would need. Tim was great to communicate with and his added touches really made you feel welcomed. I would rent this property any time of the year.

Short Family Stay

We stayed for a short trip (3 nights) and loved it! The lake is small so was perfect for our children to go out on their while we could see them the whole time. Caught a number of small fish off the dock and out while kayaking. Sunset view is amazing!

Great stay!

Perfect setup for extended family gathering. House was very clean, well appointed, and great location for low key family vacation. We especially enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks. Great smaller lake for swimming. Found a few great hiking locations not too far. Great lobster roll and ice cream down the street. Would love to return!

Our fourth of July Weekend stay

My friends and I stayed here for the weekend of the fourth. Everything was absolutely spotless when we arrived. The host checked in to make sure we made it there ok and was very responsive/ friendly answering any questions we had. They had left us the essentials in the kitchen, everything labeled very nicely and easily accessible. The home was perfect! We ate outside on the deck every meal and used all of the water toys all day long. We had a fire with the wood already available and loved sitting on their dock. We absolutely loved this house and just kept saying we’d love to come back and stay here again. We appreciate Tim and his family sharing their place with us!!

Fantastic Property!!! 5++++ Stars!

This home is amazing. Totally spotless, fantastic location right on a quiet and beautiful lake with all of the amenities you will ever need for the perfect vacation! The pictures don't even do it justice. Check-in was a breeze and the owner was incredibly easy to reach with any questions. So many nice, little touches made our stay even better than expected. We don't have small kids, but the house is well-equipped if you do. Do not hesitate to book this property - I would give it 10 stars if I could!
