Silverstar Getaway

This place is bigger than the pictures show and has lots of natural light. You don't feel like you are in a lower suite. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots and dishes!Great place to stay. As 4 adults we.were very comfortable.

We were so pleased with our stay! It had absolutely everything we needed and the hosts were great. The beds were comfy and appreciated the extra touches they provided. Highly recommend it for sure!

Amazing ski-in & out right on a skiway

We loved the location and the lodging. We will happily stay here again. Right on the ski-way and a short walk to the village.

Great winter get away

The property was everything we hoped and expected. Hosts were very quick to respond to any questions. Loved the ski in/out convenience and a short walk to the town site. Parking is a bit tight but doable.

Great place, great location!

Loved this place! Communication with owner/manager was very prompt and friendly. The apartment was clean comfortable, has a well equipped kitchen with nice quality pots/pans/knives, and the snow removal team did a great job. Loved the heated boot/coat room for keeping gear warm, dry and out of the way. Luxurious, private hot tub. Easy ski-in/out access to the slopes and cross-country ski trails, and a pleasant walking distance to the village on the trail. Stayed 5 days and was definitely not ready to leave.

Silver Star Ski Getaway

Good location, only a few steps to ski-in/ski-out, place was clean and had everything expected for kitchen gadgets, etc. Lots of room and open space. Driveway is a little tricky to back out of onto the main road.

MTB vacation

Perfect spot for a MTB vacation. Very close to hill. Very clean, perfect size for 4 people. I would highly recommend this spot. Hot tub was also a nice touch after a long day of biking. Thank you Steve

New Years Stay

Stayed here over New Years and shared the whole place with our other family in the other unit. This unit was cozy and well stocked. Easy to cook in, great to have a washer and dryer. Nice storage/ski area for all your gear. Awesome location with ski in and out access. The hosts were very responsive.

Wonderful ski week staying at Mountain Hound Lodge

My friends and I loved the ski in-ski out condo. It was spacious and bright, with lots of counter space and convenience. The private hot tub was an extra treat. The owners were quick to reply to messages and very easy to work with. I would recommend Mountain Hound Lodge. Thanks again for the wonderful stay Randi! Chelsey

Amazing place for a mtb retreat.

We loved that place. Very clean. Has everything you need. My 10-years-old enjoyed the tv and the comfy bed and couches. Lol. Seriously, well decorated and very cozy. The hottub was a bonus. Will be back if available.

Love the wax room

Unfortunately the snow didn't cooperate, but the condo was great. We used the wax room several times. I would have appreciated a usable closet in the bunk bed room (the laundry is in the closet and it was a slight but not major inconvenience).

What a great spot

Karen's place with the hotub, views of the Monashees and access to the runs was brilliant! The kitchen had all the equipment we needed, and the mudroom was super convenient to stash all of our gear in. The only issue we had was that the guests in the upstairs unit liked to stay up late in the room above the master bedroom, and I had to ask them a couple of times to keep it down. Very thin insulation between those two units. But our kids didn't hear a thing in the bunk room, which was good!

Great Spot for MTBing

We enjoyed our stay at this property for a Mountain biking weekend. Wax room works great for securely storing bikes when not in use, and the 'drying' room works well for airing out all the mtb gear. Hot tub is excellent, but sized for 2 adults, maybe 3-4 depending on your closeness level. Hot Tub is out of the sun early, so it can still be used on hot days. One note, this unit gets full sun early so its bright in the early AM. Sun comes off quickly (noonish) and allows the unit to cool down.

Fine but not great

The location was good and the hot tub was lovely, but overall we were a bit disappointed in our stay. There were lots of things missing - the fireplace didn't work, the stereo didn't work, there was no dishwasher soap, we couldn't find hand towels or tea towels... There were also little touches that aren't required, but we would have hoped to see (especially for the amount of money we were paying!). E.g.: no shampoo in the bathrooms, no dresser/chest of drawers in the second bedroom, no Christmas decorations, limited (and cheap) kitchen appliances. It just felt like there was a lack of care. All in all, we probably wouldn't stay here again.

Good location , service was good, house is tired

Location was good , lovely view from living room, regular spa service and snow clearing , attentive owner, great wax room ; But the property is tired ; master bed mattress desperately needs to be replaced ; kitchen would benefit from more bowls/ platters and new decent cups/ mugs ( dinner set was ok); tbh it felt like the kitchen was stocked up with leftovers from a main house ; oven wasn’t working as cleaner used dishwashing detergent and we fumigated the house when we turned it on ; they did try to fix it but it didn’t work and then we chose not to use it as otherwise we would have to leave the house for a few hours when it was -25C( no way); Unnecessarily annoying that we had to buy own toilet paper or dishwashing tablets to top up very limited supply that was there -as we stayed for 2 weeks ( that felt cheap - I would prefer to be charged a few $ more and not to think about it); nowhere to take rubbish if you don’t have car ( as is the case for o/ s tourists ) ; Overall we were reasonably comfortable but wouldn’t stay there again
