Our girls loved their big room they had all to themselves! Pictures don’t do it justice - it is updated and well kept very clean and the host are more then lovely!!

Perfect family ski vacation

I brought my family (me, my wife, my two college aged kids) for a few days of skiing, and this place exceeded our expectations. The rental was clean and quiet. The place seemed newly refurbished, and the kitchen was extremely well equipped. The beds were better than what we have at home, and the location on the ski trails at the top of the knoll is iconic. We put on our skis and ski down to the village each morning. After skiing we soak in the tub, which is maintained by a professional. We're already looking at our calendar to see when we can come back and stay again.

Amazing second stay here!

This was our second time in this rental and we had a great time. Ken is a wonderful and attentive onsite host and the condo has everything we needed. We stayed with our two kids, 9 & 12, and it had ample space for us and all our gear. The hot tub was brand new and the location to the Silver Woods chair was amazing. Will stay again!

Best location!

This was our second visit. The location can’t be beat and will keep us coming back. The hot tub one step from the door is perfect and the suite has everything we needed. This is REAL ski-in/ski-out.

Very convenient at the top of Silverwoods Chair.

Enjoyed our stay. Clean with comfortable bed. Decor is dated but that’s OK. Kitchen could have used more bowls.

Perfect

We stayed here for 10 nights and everything about it was perfect. The location, The House, The ski in and out. Getting around as a non-skier. The beds. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Ken, for letting us stay in your home.

Supreme Location

The places that overlook the top of silver woods are the best on the hill. This place has everything you’ll need. If anything comes up Ken is on top of it. Great place, good people.

Go to property from now on!

The pictures don't do the suite justice! The accomodation was incredibly large, comfortable and immaculate. The location was perfect - we skiied approximately 25 feet down the hil to the ski run. This will be the place we'll try to book from now on when we go to Silverstar. This has been the best property by far for our family.

As advertised - Perfection !

We are a family of 4 2 children 9 and 11. The proximity to the Perfection ski run was just great as we could ski in / out with relative ease. The walk up to the village was fairly easy and now with the shuttle bus back on (season 2023/24) it was even easier to get up and down as needed. Our children loved their bunk room and we used the loft as more of a games room / retreat for them .

Great time spent

The Property was very well maintained, and clean. The location was steps to the ski hill, which was wonderful. There is ample parking on if you have multiple vehicles, but the driveway is quite steep in winter; if you have a larger vehicle you just need to be mindful while parking. We had a great time at this rental and would rent it again in the future. Eric

Comfortable and spacious

Excellent basement suite with kitchen that includes everything you need for cooking real meals. Wonderful hottub and convenient location. You can hear the people upstairs quite a bit but that's only a problem if there are young children who like to yell and jump up and down early in the morning. Luckily the 2nd set of people above us were much quieter and had teens instead. Comfortable beds. Lots of parking (make sure you have snow tires and/or 4WD - recommended anyway for that area). We had an excellent stay.

Spring break at silverstar

What really makes this property fantastic is its location. True ski in sji out, you can literally put your skis on at the hot tub and ski right down to the silver woods chair.... the apartment itself was very comfortable for my wife and two kids, everything you need for self catering vacation which is what we did. tons of hot water and linens available The owner was super helpful and responsive to my questions. we had super family vacation and love the resort more nowthan we did when we first went two years ago. thanks for the experience

Perfect Location

My husband and two kids stayed here, along with his parents–and they all loved it. The location was perfect, assuming you don't care being a little further from the village. They loved being able to wake-up and go right onto the slopes. The view from the condo is magnificent. The owner and property manager were wonderful to deal with too. Friendly, and replied promptly to questions during booking. The condo itself is a little outdated but had everything you'd need and no surprises. Their only suggestion would be to improve furnishing in the larger room with the murphy beds. The mattresses were not very comfortable, and with the pool table not there, the space isn't currently set up well as a sitting room (eg. no couch or table). All other spaces were fine. Regardless, we'd come back here in a flash and would highly recommend it others.

Good condo great location malfunctioning locks

No complaints with the place except had issue with the locks and doors which were iced and jamming preventing the locks to work. We were locked outside. Fortunately we were able to contact the host by phone and after multiple attempts and some frozen fingers able to get it. No solution or support offered by host. The next day spent quite some time scraping ice from door frames but still took several tries each time for electric lock to work. Replaced the batteries in the motorized lock which helped but still unreliable. Details of the situation and a video showing the bolt failing to retract while the door was open was sent to the host with a suggestion that a locksmith may be needed. Got a response that ‘It was working fine for the previous guests’. I am happy the previous guests did not have an issue but that did not help us feel any better about being locked out. Would expect there to be a caretaker available to deal with problems like this. Would not stay here again.
