Come for a relaxing getaway at Birch Perch in Old Orchard Beach, Maine! This charming single family home in a quiet residential neighborhood is a short 15-minute walk to the beach or into town and all the delights of the pier. Our home sleeps 12 and comes fully stocked with all the dishes, pots, pans, and tools you need to grill a steak in the backyard or boil up a lobster feast. Our beach chairs and sturdy cart make your walk down to the water easy and you can end the day with a glass of wine on the side patio. And for those rainy days, there are books, games, and TVs to entertain the whole family. Come make memories at Birch!

Birch Perch is rented with a 7 night minimum stay renting during peak summer weeks (July 4th - Labor Day...Saturday to Saturday). Check in is at 4pm and check out is 11am. Occasionally, we'll open up on less night minimums depending on availability...please email if interested. Off Season, we rent with a 3 night minimum stay during the Spring and Fall (pre-July 4th). Note...linens and towels are not provided in this rental due to difficulty guaranteeing delivery and service.

Driving In? - we have off street parking for 5 cars
Flying? Don't have room in your luggage for linens? No worries! Bed linens and towels can be rented from an outside provider for an additional fee.
Taking the train? Birch is a short walk or car share from the train station.
Your vacation stay will be worry-free.

Everything was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed smores at the fire pit and barbequed a few nights on the gas grill, both with no issues. Lots of blankets, quilts, and pillows for beds. For families with small children, please note that both bathrooms have standing showers, there's no tub. Loved having beach accessories, including a beach cart, available for us to use. The owners were communicative and very pleasant to talk to.

Great location, great place

The house was clean, had plenty of sleeping spaces, and had beach stuff for us to use. It was walking (or trolley) distance to downtown/the beach and yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful when you're done there. Our week there was great... we couldn't ask for more!

Very close to the beach and boardwalk / center. Very nice home, comfy beds and more than enough supplies - plastic utensils, garbage bags paper plates. We brought our own linens but there were comforters and pillows there. Of note first floor bedroom is the kids bedroom with bunk beds all other bedrooms upstairs. Kids were old enough it didn’t bother us but good to know! Would recommend !

Convenient location in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room for four people. Beds are comfortable and the picnic supplies were nice to have. Did not take advantage of the beach supplies since we were traveling everyday.

Number of bunk beds in office was confusing.3 bunks beds to me means room for 6! Actally 1 bunk bed with tiny trundle. 3 teens did not have enough room. Besides that all okay. Would have liked a dish washer. Clean good locale. Okay for price.

Great place to sray

This house was excellent- clean large well stocked!! We enjoyed our stay. Owners were easy to communicate with - answered our questions quickly! Recommend highly. Only thing. We wanted to us the grill but whoever used it before us did not clean after use - if you are renting please be thoughtful of next tenants and clean your mess!!

The home was clean and had all the essential supplies (other than linens which we were aware of). Location is conveniently near the beach. Neighborhood is quiet. Great place to stay overall.

VERY NICE HOUSE!

Our family and friend absolutely enjoyed our stay! Not used to a stocked house with everything you need! Close to beach and shops but far enough away to go relax after all the chaos and noise! Never had to reach out to the owners. Everything was perfect and comfortable! They do a wonderful job of providing you with everything! Only downer was tvs is not cable and we are not familiar with surfing through roku. But honestly who cares....we played games so not much TV needed! If your looking for a nice place this is it! I could go on and on! THANK YOU SHOUT OUT TO THE OWNERS!

Great Place for a Beach Vacation!

Great place

The owners are great, the place is new and clean. Very nice home feeling. The only downside was that we were not aware until after booking that we had to bring our own linens. This made travelling a lot harder with 8 people but it wasn’t a deal breaker, we still enjoyed it very much.

Wonderful stay!

This house was so comfortable and easy to stay in. It was equipped with everything we could need. The location was easy walking distance to the beach. We truly enjoyed this home.

Family vacation to the beach !

Property was nice and had lots of very usefull things! All thought youre gonna find everything you need you might want to bring some plastic containers for your lunch at the beach . The convinience store is 5 min walk . Very nice property for a beach vacation :)

Home away from home

We enjoyed the place so much! Very clean, well stocked accomadations! Eric has been very helpful and timely to communicate with! Would definitely recommend this place when we plan to return for sure!

Loved it!

Eric and Jen were super helpful with everything! Very quick and efficient to respond. The only thing is that there was no grill. Super clean, cute, and perfect for a group of 6-8! Highly recommend! And very close to the beach, we walked frequently. Lots of shopping and food options nearby as well.

My husband and I fell in love with coastal Maine over 15 years ago with our 5 children. We have been coming to OOB for the last 8 years and are so excited to be able to own this home in this great neighborhood. This is our second home in OOB and we are excited to share this summer with you.
