Long Lake Hideaway 3 BD Cottage Shared beach access

Long Lake Hideaway is newly updated! The home is two connected cottages you have all to yourself, consisting of 3 Bedrooms and 2 Full Baths with 2 living rooms, 2 kitchens, and a game room. Full house rental with shared beach access. Enjoy the Traverse City vibe but have an authentic Up-North evening when you wrap up your fun day with a bonfire or the Gas Firepit on the deck.

Perfect for 2 couples or a Large Family. The house is a single-family home with two wings/cottage spaces separated by sliding barn doors that can be closed and secured or remain open as a passthrough between them. You have full access to both cottages. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, Yoga/play room, and laundry facility onsite. 1 King Size and 2 Queen size beds total. There are also 2 couches one in each living room. Long Lake Township & Peninsula limits guests and traffic so no additional guests may stay, no large loud parties or boat parking! Enjoy Wifi, Smart TV, 3 portable window-vented A/C units, outdoor fire pits and lounging spaces.

We are Pet-friendly! Pet fee is $150 per stay. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed. Please let us know if you are bringing a fur friend so that we may get your pet amenities prepared for your arrival. We try our best to keep hair and allergens away, but guests with dog sensitivities should be aware. Please use our provided sofa cover and 'retired' towels for your fur friends. Booking guests will be responsible for any pet damage.

Quiet hours are observed after 10pm. We are in a residential neighborhood so please make sure to respect our neighbors. No unauthorized parties are allowed.

☆☆ BEDROOMS ☆☆
Cottage East Wing – features one ground level bedroom with Queen size bed and an in-suite bathroom. This bedroom is separated from the two other bedrooms and has its own kitchen and living space. Yoga/play room and laundry facility is also located on this side.

Cottage West Wing – features two upstairs bedrooms. One with King size bed, one with Queen size bed. Please be aware the master bedroom room and a second bedroom with Queen size bed are connected through the bathroom. If you’re traveling with a young one, you’ll find a Pack 'n Play crib and a highchair in the closet. This layout will work well for a small family but may not be ideal for two couples as the smaller bedroom can only be accessed through the master bathroom.

The cottage has two full baths, so there’s no need to worry about scrambling for shower time. All bathrooms feature high quality amenities.

☆☆ KITCHEN ☆☆
The fully equipped kitchen and 2nd wet bar has everything you’ll need to cook up tasty meals, including new stainless steel appliances, an instant-pot, a crock
pot, a blender, and two separate coffee station with an assortment of coffee and tea available. There are also kids' bowls, utensils, and a high chair for young families.

☆☆ LIVING ROOM and Yoga ROOM ☆☆
Just across from the kitchen and dining room are two cozy living rooms with plush furnishings, a flat-screen Smart TV equipped with Hulu, Netflix, and Disney+ for your own logins. If you’re looking for some family fun or group activity, check out our board game collection and Yoga room in the basement for a quick workout. There are also some kids' toys and books available.

Head out to the three outdoor patio/ deck through the sliding glass doors after making your book selection, slip into the outdoor chairs and enjoy. Morning coffee in the cool breezes are also a treat. Outdoor fire-pit in the back yard and picnic table will sure to create memories.

There are two cottages connected. They are separated by an interior Barn door that can be secured or remain open. There are 4 parking spots 2 right in front and 2 on the side of the cottage. The quiet Peninsula is a great place to walk or bike, there is a private park and picnic area just around the corner. There are a couple of great delis/stores close by to purchase all your supplies for the adventure and adult beverages. Long Lake Township & Peninsula limit guests and traffic, please no loud noise or additional overnight guests or boat parking! There are boat and kayak rentals in the area. Long Lake also has two public beaches on the other side of the lake.

Please note during our peak season (June-September) we discourage late check-outs and early check-ins due to the tight turn-around schedules of our cleaning teams. We are happy to allow for an early check-in or late check-out if our cleaning team is able to accommodate the request and still allow the rental to be cleaned to our quality standards and specifications. All early check-ins and late check-outs will be charged a $250.00 additional fee for this expedited service. We are able to accommodate early check-in and late check-outs during our off season (October-May) for a reduced fee of $100.00, please contact us for further information.

Please be aware guest stays longer than 10-days will require mid-stay cleaning. Mid-stay cleaning fees are the same amount as fee charged during booking. A weekly cleaning and linen/towel exchange is required for long-term guest stays, short-term guest stays may request a mid-stay cleaning for an extra fee.

Please note that 3 days before check in time, we will place a temporary pre-authorization hold of $500 on your card. This hold verifies fund availability and covers potential incidental expenses during your stay. The hold will be released 7 days after check-out, pending no outstanding charges or damages. Your privacy and security are paramount, and all card information is handled confidentially.
We aspire to help our guests create wonderful memories in our cozy home. That is why we spelled out these house rules for an optimal experience for both of us. We truly appreciate your effort and cooperation!

*Please note that violation of any of these rules is considered a breach of the terms and conditions of the rental agreement. The owner reserves the right to evict any guests or visitors who refuse to follow these house rules. The violation of house rules may result in deductions from the security deposit or other penalties. 

Child Safety: Parents must not leave children unsupervised and are fully responsible for their safety at all times. 

Safety & Energy Saving: Please close the windows and lock the door when leaving the premises.

Report any damages and/or breakages immediately.

Cleaning and Maintenance: 
Smoking or burning candles are not allowed inside the home. No eating or drinking in bedrooms.

Please do not wear shoes inside the house. Please turn off any electronics when you leave the house. 

Visitors & Noise:
No unregistered guests or visitors allowed. The maximum property capacity is 6 people. Parties and events are strictly prohibited. Third parties are not welcome, and the place is for guests only. Quiet time after 10 p.m.  Please refrain from making noises past 10 p.m. to respect our neighbors.  NO FIREWORKS ALLOWED.
Pets: Dogs are permitted in the house. Please declare your pets to us ahead of checking in and settle any pet related fees. Please clean up after your fur friends and use the provided retired towels to clean your dogs. Please do not let your dogs venture into the neighbor’s yards during their walks.

Housekeeping:  Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We will be happy to help arrange additional cleaning during your stay for a fee. If you run out of clean linens (sheets/pillow cases) and towels etc., you are welcome to use the laundry facility to replenish them. PLEASE do not wipe any food, oils, or lotions on the linens. Please use the kitchen towels (paper or cloths) for their intended purposes. 

We provide black make-up towels and cotton pads for removing makeup. If our other towels are stained or bleached during your stay, we will charge a $15 replacement fee for each towel.

Property/Home owner(s), Property Manager will not assume responsibility for illness or injury that guest(s) may incur while on the property. Property/Home owner(s), Property Manager, is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or property of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are assuming the responsibility of any harm arising from their use of the premises or other people they invite to this property (per owner’s approval). Owner has the right to ask guest(s) to leave the property if these rules are violated. If legal action is taken against guest(s), the at fault party will be responsible for all law suits/lawyer fees. Any violation of these rules could result in you being charged your security deposit and/or legal action taken. Call 911 if there is an emergency and then call the host.

Pets:
We have the following rules for our guests with pets or Assistance Animals. This ensures that both your stay, and that of our guests after you, will be enjoyable and relaxing. Our pet fee is $150 for up to two dogs. Maximum occupancy is set at 2 dogs under 50 pounds each. If you have any questions, please ask us! The guest remains liable for any and all damage caused by people or pets or a service animal.

•Your animal should not be left unattended at any time. Should that become necessary, you must have and use a crate for your animal at all times while you are gone and provide them with sufficient food and water. Please use the labeled pet towels/sofa/bed covers/sheets for your pets cleaning needs and separate them from the towels/sheets provided for guest use.

•You are responsible at all times for your animal's behavior. While we reasonably expect that your pets or specialty animal are well-trained, should any damage occur, you are responsible for the cost of any cleaning, repairs, or replacements.

Great cozy stay in a wonderful area.
Clean, well-appointed house with plenty of amenities. Our daughter enjoyed the toys and we enjoyed the close proximity to the Traverse City area. Lovely kitchen and living area with ample seating. Great for small families with dogs. Would stay again.

Family Getaway
Our family had a wonderful time at long lake hideaway. The house is just as pictured with lots of thoughtful touches from extra items a guest may need to night lights, sound machines and extras for our fur friend. Our kids - ages 8-13, loved the game room and the small park less than a 7 minute walk from the house. The host was warm and very attentive. The location is perfect! Super quiet neighborhood - close enough to everything. Our first time visiting this part of MI. We would recommend and stay again. Thank you!
