From the moment we arrived, we knew the photos and description didn’t do this home justice—it’s truly special. The house is lovely, with breathtaking bay views and beautiful landscaping that created the perfect gathering space for our family (my husband and I, our daughter and son-in-law, and our two granddaughters). We shared family dinners, played ball on the lawn, and soaked in the peaceful setting. The location is magical—a short walk to the beach with incredible views, a historic fort, church/abbey, and a warm, welcoming Café Cois Trá, where we felt at home. One evening we enjoyed pizza, an intimate live music event, and a sunset walk along the beach—unforgettable. We loved exploring the area: St. Finian’s Bay (with views of Skellig Michael), Skelligs Chocolate Factory, Kerry Cliffs, Valentia Island, Bray Head and Bolus Head hikes, and time in Waterville. Derrynane House and Beach and Kenmare. A highlight was Hidden Hills Farm, where we met Timothy, Kitty, and Sinéad, experienced real farm life, and even held and feed baby lambs. We all had a much better understanding of farming and appreciation for the dedication it takes to properly care and love the animals raised there. This home became our family haven. When we asked our granddaughters their favorite part, they said, “Everything.” Thank you for such meaningful memories—we’d give it double the rating if we could.Warmly and with gratitude. the Billesbach and Anderson's
