Perfectly located on the Northeast Side, you will be just minutes from downtown Grand Rapids, Eastown, East Grand Rapids, Reeds Lake, local restaurants, coffee shops, shops, parks, nightlife, and some of the city’s favorite attractions.

The property is a duplex, and this listing is for one fully private side of the property. Guests have their own separate entrance, dedicated living spaces, and no shared interior areas with the other unit, allowing you to enjoy a private and comfortable stay from check in to check out.

The place was very clean and had everything you would need. The best part was how close it was to downtown Grand Rapids without being directly in the city. Located in a quiet neighborhoods was a plus. The host quickly responded when we contacted her. Would stay again.

In town for sons band event

We were traveling to the area as our son was going to Blue Lake and we were looking for a stay by highways and by downtown. This place had that and was so cozy. Great downstairs room and easy to navigate. The owner also very responsive to any questions and requests.Great place to stay!

Wonderful Thanksgiving

The property was much nicer than expected. Our family enjoyed staying there. Very clean, nicely decorated, and well stocked. It was convenient to everything. I message the property manager several times and my message was answered within moments with information I needed.

3 Generation mini break

We were familiar with the area so we knew the bungalow would be close to downtown and other GR attractions. It's located in a quiet neighborhood and the listing is accurate. The house is nicely equipped with the essentials and the kitchen had everything we needed for basic cooking. Plenty of space as there were only 3 of us. The owner is very responsive and checkin was easy. A table in the back for outside eating would be nice, but the lack didn't impact an enjoyable stay.

Girls + outing

The house provided the essentials for my daughters &1 granboy(6) to enjoy our time together. The gran especially enjoyed the foosball table in the downstairs . Very quiet neighborhood & conveniently located to all our venturing out & about. A few suggestions though-a larger skillet, dish rack, & maybe a sitting area upstairs w stuffed chairs( we never sat in the basement). Otherwise, Thankyou for a much needed stress free stay

Highly disappointed!

On the day I checked in the host notified me and said there was a tree that had fallen on the property. She said it did not do any damage and we were assured we would feel safe and comfortable. When we arrived it was more than 1small tree. It was an enormous tree broken into several huge branches that were resting on the roof of the house and covered the entire backyard. We could not get out of the back sliding door as it was completely blocked with huge branches. The branches also covered the bathroom and bedroom windows. Crews were then sent in to remove it. I was promised I would be notified when the crews were coming and I was not. The shower was also broken and the knob to turn it on was extremely hard to pull. Once you did get it going there was little to no water pressure to take a shower. The owner was also not forthcoming with this information.

I am very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay and that you were not provided with a full refund from VRBO for feeling uncomfortable about a tree that had fallen in the backyard prior to your arrival. I ensured to notify your group well in advance of this and would have absolutely suggested that you stay elsewhere if there were branches obstructing or covering any doors or windows, for your safety. As we discussed during your stay, I would never send crews in to remove/work outside the property while a guest was staying, as we always respect our guest's privacy and do everything we can to make them comfortable. Given that our shower was in perfect working order, I was also more than happy to guide you on how to turn it on during your stay. As a host, I take great pride in having open and effective communication with every guest, while also ensuring they have a safe and comfortable place to stay. I wish you luck in your future travels.

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful stay! The rental process was easy and the owners were very helpful. The property was very clean and we felt comfortable and safe. The beds were super comfortable! We didn't spend much time at the house because we were visiting family in Holland Michigan, but it was a great home base for the weekend. I would recommend adding a full length mirror in both rooms. It was a bit difficult getting ready with 4 people and only one mirror in the bathroom. Thank you for sharing your house with us!
