Bass Lakefront Luxury w/ private dock and game/bar room

Newly updated 2800 square foot lakefront cabin with amazing views from every room, a private boat dock, game and bar room, and relaxing swimmers cove! Two minute drive or 7 minute walk to the Pines Resort, 15 minutes to Oakhurst and just 16 miles to the South entrance of Yosemite. Take in beautiful sunsets on the large deck and enjoy the warm lake water in the summer months. Two masters with king beds and 6 twin beds upstairs make this a perfect place for families and friends to get together and enjoy beautiful Bass Lake, hiking trails, mountain biking and various winter activities.

The kitchen and living room are spacious and all rooms enjoy views of the lake. A bbq and plenty of seating and tables on the deck overlooking the lake make for great entertaining and enjoying the beautiful outdoors.

4 1/2 baths including two en suite with double sinks are plenty to handle guest needs.

Simply walk off the top deck and down to the lake to the private boat dock, where you can tie up your boat or take a swim. Boat launching is available at the Pines Resort and across the lake (public launch).

In the winter, enjoy the beautiful serenity of the area and avoid the crowds. Find a sled hill when it snows, visit Yosemite (beautiful in the winter!), take a hike or just enjoy the warmth of the lakefront cabin in front of the fireplace. We are 1 hour from Badger Pass ski resort and 1 1/2 hours from China Peak ski resort.

The cabin features a whole home generator in case there are power outages in the area (works everything except AC when power grid is out), and central air and heat to keep the house cool during summer and warm during winter and snow season.

The living room is equipped with a new smart TV (Netflix, YouTube TV, Apple TV and Hulu available- personal subscriptions required) and comfortable seating.

Bedding, sheets, towels, toilet paper, paper towels and soaps/shampoos are provided for our guests. A washer and dryer are also available for guest use. Please bring your own beach towels.

Parking is available for up to 4 cars and may be impacted by the size of your vehicle. Instructions regarding boat launching and trailer parking would be included in your welcome/check-in message shortly before your arrival.

New for 2025: A newly added wet bar, living, decking and game/entertainment space below first level deck. Another full bathroom has also been added downstairs.

Wonder property, very clean and comfortable! We loved the dock and nice private cove. We had such a great vacation and are really looking forward to going again this year to experience the new upgrades and additions.

Amazing Family Vacation

Our family had a great stay. Only issue was the access down to the dock (and the dock itself) needed some upgrades. Our understanding from the owner is that this work is in progress so hopefully when we book for next year this will be completed!

Annual Family lake trip.

This property is perfectly located in Bass Lake. A short Walk to the Pines Village and market. The lake front house is exquisite, its located two coves west of the main marina and tucked in the back. Perfect for family and friends. Thank you again for being accommodating during our visit.

Fun in the summer sun

We booked this lake house with three other couples over 4th of July weekend. The owner, Mona, was incredibly communicative & friendly. The house was clean and well stocked. The deck space was amazing and offered incredible views of the lake. We also had a perfect view of the fireworks on July 4th. The dock has enough space for two ski boats. We fit four vehicles in the driveway, but just be aware that it’s pretty tight and if you’re planning on doing any driving it will require some shuffling of the vehicles. I would absolutely stay here again.

The Best!

We loved out stay at Bass Lake. The location couldn’t be better with the dock in the lake! Perfect spot for a family vacation. Our hosts were quick to respond to our questions, and we’re so pleasant to work with. We enjoyed a quick trip to Yosemite, our lake days with pontoons and jet skis….we even had a front row seat to a very entertaining bear who was bathing in the cove early one morning! Will definitely plan on staying here again someday.

Beautiful Lakefront Paradise

Was so impressed with this fully stocked spacious home with impressive views! What a great winter getaway to relax and unwind out of the city noise! Located just 15 minutes from the Yosemite South Gate this will definitely be a place we book again in hiking weather! Really appreciated the quick response and accommodations from the owners. One of my favorite locations by far!

Perfect, Relaxing Week at Bass Lake

Our family had an amazing stay at the Lakefront Luxury home at Bass Lake! The home and dock are perfectly located in the quiet cove with easy access to town and the open lake. We enjoyed boating, tubing, and just floating on the lake. Being able to come back to the cool, clean house with its well stocked kitchen made it even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

House was clean walking to town and restaurants was simple. Had all what you needed to cook and grill some good meals. Had a small issue and the host was very responsive. Even forgot a ear pod the cleaners found it and the host mailed it to us so happy. Stay here again for sure

Beautiful home on the Lake

We brought the family to Whitney Cove for a quick stay on Bass Lake. The communication, check-in info was perfect. The home was immaculate. It is obvious the hosts take great pride in their home. A 50 ft. walk down the back stairs brings you to the dock and what feels like your own personal swimming hole. The spot is in a small cove with a beautiful view of the lake. The home easily sleeps 10 with comfortable beds and plenty of linens. The deck is huge and provides a comfortable, covered spot to sit and take in the beautiful views of the lake. A 7 minute walk is all it takes to get to the grocery store, a few souvenir shops, a pizza place, Mexican place, and two bars. The Marina Bar had live music and was hopping! We will be back for a longer stay next time!

Super clean In the best location!

Our family absolutely loved our stay here! The owners were amazing to work with; very responsive and even proactive in helping us get the most out of our vacation. The place looked and felt very clean and nicely updated. The kitchen was stocked quite well, and the A/C worked great! Our stay was during the middle of July and it was hot outside but the house stayed really cool. The upstairs space, with 2 bedrooms and a half bath was not as cool but well ventilated and the fans provided helped immensely. The location was probably my favorite after touring the lake for a few days. The back of a cove, just a hop over from Pines Resort could not have been more convenient. We spent most of our time down at the dock in the water floating around or on the lake in the boat. There was a slight ant problem, but friends staying in a near by location had the same issue so I’m sure it’s an ongoing battle. This would not deter us from coming again in any way! We look forward to returning.

Regarding the ants, yes, it's a persistent issue in the Bass Lake area, especially when really hot outside. We have regular treatments to mitigate but they outnumber us! Again, hope to host you again in the future at Bass Lake. Thanks for taking such great care of our home away from home.

Amazing stay

Our family absolutely loved this Lakehouse. Location is great, only minutes to the Pines. We enjoyed our walks to Ducey's and kids loved being so close to the Lake and hiking trails. Dock and boat slip made it so easy to leave our boat and use it whenever we wanted. Views of Lake and mountains were amazing, loved sitting on the deck working, chatting, grilling...plenty of tables and chairs for everyone to sit comfortably. This house is beautiful, nicely decorated, spacious and very well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals, BBQ... Plenty of room for 10 people, kids enjoyed the two bedrooms upstairs and we loved the two master bedrooms downstairs, each with its own bathroom, beds were so comfortable, bathrooms were sanitized and everything was extremely clean! Also I was so impressed with the wifi, we stayed in Bass Lake several times in the past and always had issues with wifi, but this time I was able to work remotely without any issues at all, I was very pleased ! I cant say enough about this gorgeous cabin and the hosts were equally amazing! Mona is so nice and friendly, kept in touch and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing stay. Our family had an unforgettable stay, wish we could've stayed longer, didn't want to leave this little heaven and can't wait for our next trip to the Whitney's Lakehouse

Family Vacation 2022

The Whitney’s were perfect property managers and owners. We had a great time and loved our time together. The house was a perfect location to everything, the store, a couple restaurants, marina and of course the Marina Bar (lol) Such a great experience for our first time to Bass Lake! We will be back!!

Having visited Bass Lake on camping trips in the past, we fell in love with the warm summer waters, the vibrant community, the beautiful surroundings and the proximity to Yosemite. When an opportunity to purchase a beautiful lakefront home presented itself, we jumped on it!
