WELCOME TO LAKE COUNTRY : D Our guests continue to tell us our Luxury Lake Country Home was, "Their BEST VRBO VACATION experience". Stay in the solitude and absolute quiet of Lake Country at its best, yet close to Wisconsin's MOST POPULAR Destinations. The ultimate in privacy located in the quiet of the Kettle Moraine's forested glacial hills with just a short drive, MINUTES TO LAUNCH OUR HURRICANE DECK BOAT. Beaches, apple orchards, state parks, nordic and ice age trails, or boating on Lauderdale Lakes, literally, out your back door! A 20 minute drive to Lake Geneva's beach front, and just 50 minutes to Milwaukee's third ward.

LUXURY LAKE HOME: Large and spacious, with an open concept, this vacation home is ideal for groups large or small. Our home is a high end quality build by a carpenter contractor for his family. PERFECT FOR A WEEKEND, A WEEK - EVEN A MONTH. PLEASE INQUIRE ABOUT DISCOUNTS and BOATING. Inside you will find hardwood flooring and vaulted ceilings throughout, with a fireplace on two levels, eat-in kitchen with breakfast bar, and dinette with walkout to the deck, or four season porch. There are two bedrooms (first floor) the Master bedroom with ensuite "full" bath, and a second bedroom with "half" bath. There is also a laundry room with a large capacity washer and dryer located on the main level (first floor). On the second level (second floor) there is a large family room w/ field stone fireplace, a media room with large screen viewing, and at your request a "fully stocked" Pub. This level also has a third, and fourth bedroom, together with a third "full" bath. There is a walkout stone patio, with cedar chairs, and a weber genesis grill . The property also includes high speed internet @ 1 Gig, Sonos Sound, dedicated office space, and blue tooth technology throughout. Our guests have FULL ACCESS to a three car garage together with SECURE off road parking. Outdoors there is a fire pit (hardwood provided), lawn chairs, coolers, and plenty of out door games, and green space available for play.

HURRICANE DECK BOAT (pictured): Our TWENTY-ONE foot Deck Boat with a TEN passenger 1,400 lb. capacity is available exclusively for our "Lake Country" guests. Meet at the marina, we will load your coolers, help you board and captain the boat if you like. Anchor with scheduled stops to swim and time for a favorite beverage or snack. Pack towels and plenty of sunscreen and we will do the rest.

STAY FOR A WEEKEND, A WEEK, EVEN A MONTH. Boating, long term discounts, celebrations or special events to be determined when booking . We ask our guests to book lodging at a THREE night minimum, with a FOUR night minimum for major holidays. Listed holiday's include Memorial day, Easter Sunday, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas (Hanukkah), and New Years Day. Remember YOU are on vacation. Relax and enjoy! We WILL do the work. Call or text at your earliest convenience.

Due to state and local licensing we can NOT accept more than TEN people per night for lodging. All guests and vehicles MUST be registered before occupancy. There are FOUR vehicles maximum that may be parked on property.

Best VRBO ever

This was the best VRBO experience we have ever had! The owner was amazing, the house was incredible- super clean, well stocked. If you ever have a reason to vacation in/near Elkhorn, WI- this is the place to book!

Relaxation plus!

We wanted a home to get away for my 50th birthday weekend to spend with friends. This amazing property fit the bill perfectly. It was spacious, clean and full of top grade supplies. Communication with the owners was quick and easy. And if you are a nature lover there are many many opportunities to sit and watch birds, deer and turkeys plus more.

Extended family reunion

This property was perfect for a get together of adult siblings and cousins with lots is space for a variety of activities. The kitchen is exceptionally well supplied and large enough for several cooks. Jim and Sharon are great hosts.

gorgeous lake country home

We travelled to Wisconsin from St. Louis for a weekend concert. Our hosts were friendly, and responsive throughout our entire time in Lake Country. They were on property on our arrival and provided a seamless Check-In and some much appreciated Wisconsin hospitality. This vacation home is spacious and well-appointed, located in a secluded beautiful segment of Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine. It was perfect for our friends and us to enjoy both time in the country as well as a good amount of time at a nearby Alpine Valley Music Theatre. We had an amazing time and plan to be back.

Lauderdale Lakes amazing stay

There couldn't be a better host, home or holiday location than this. Our family of teens to adults enjoyed the nearby lake on boat and the spacious house. We found more to do than we could squeeze into our stay. Most activities are located within 30 minute drive. Lauderdale Lakes area wasn't as crowded as nearby Lake Geneva which is a plus. James is a fabulous host and goes way beyond expectations. Kudos to him and his family for renting their home and making memories for guests.

Best VRBO we have ever stayed at!

Our group of 4 couples couldn't have been happier at this beautiful house. From the moment we started communicating with the host, Jim, it was almost too good to be true. He was so accommodating and the property itself was fully stocked with everything you needed, and very well maintained. Jim even provided us with a welcome basket and took us out on his boat. We especially enjoyed the many outside areas that was perfectly stocked with plenty of lounge chairs, tables, games, and a beautiful fire pit area. We have our own VRBO and I have to say, I'm a little jealous of this property because it is perfect! Our group is already wanting to plan another trip back.

Lauderdale Lake House

First off, the owner, Jim, was a very friendly and knowledgeable man. We hit it off right away. The property landscaping was manicured like Augusta. The firepit was extraordinary with enough firewood to last thru winter. The inside was immaculate. It was truly a short walk to two different access points to the lake. Jim offered to take me on his boat, but the one day we had scheduled, the weather did not cooperate. He had a nice initial selection of wine, beer, food, ice and water waiting for me at no extra charge. Highly recommend this property and the owners. Great book escape.

More than accommodating!

Arriving late night on a Friday , after a five hour drive we so appreciate the owner greeting us in person. Jim made sure we had a seamless entree, and walked my family and I through what is an extremely spacious well appointed home. This property is beautiful! Beyond the property this gentleman went above and beyond, being certain to generously stock food and beverage to give us a great start on what was already going to be a short weekend. We especially enjoyed the green space and fire pit on Saturday night! Playing bags under the lights, and building S’more’s over a cozy big time bonfire. With the home being newly listed, this owner is working hard BEFORE his guests arrive to help their stay be a BEST experience. We would love to stay here again.

Lake Country Experience

We were impressed by the quality of the home and high-end furnishings and appointments throughout. Great for our family gathering. Spacious and smartly designed for a group to allow for privacy or group activities. The home is stocked with many items to make your stay more enjoyable and eliminate the need to bring things along. Our host shopped fresh bakery, eggs and other breakfast and lunch favorites before we arrived. He also made reservations for us for our Friday evening fish fry, which allowed us to enjoy excellent beer batter cod with potato pancakes as one of the options. At the host's suggestion we chose an evening Geneva Lake Cruise Line as an excursion for our group. Communication with the host before our arrival was excellent. He also took time to orient us and actually captain us on the Hurricane Boat including morning fishing and a mid-day swim on Lauderdale Lakes, which we enjoyed and provided photo ops. Would definitely recommend this property for quality family time. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy this property.

A DREAM

Best place and best host we have EVER ENCOUNTERED. My husband and I decided to get away for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary and it was nothing short of amazing. Jim was so kind and generous. He bought us a bottle of champagne. Fresh roses on the counter, with music playing and candles lit for our arrival. He went out of his way to buy us food that we could use to make breakfast etc. the property is spectacular. We saw 3 deer casually walking around the first day we got there. The atmosphere and surrounding area is to DIE for. Honestly, we could have been staying in a cardboard box and we wouldn’t have even noticed because of how amazing Jim is. He is a SAINT. A true gem. We absolutely loved our stay here and hope to be back soon. Thank you for everything Jim!!!!!

Superior Host, Large Comfortable High End Home, a Hurricane Deck Boat on a Beautiful Lake!

This beautiful, spacious, country home comes with a hurricane deck boat and even better, a friendly and well-prepared host. Jim works hard before you arrive to make sure that the house is in tip-top shape. When we arrived, Jim gave us a thorough tour of the inside and outside of the house, which includes a firepit and outdoor games. We stayed at Jim's place with our adult kids and found literally everything about the home and hospitality to be beyond expectation. Every room in the house is clean, comfy, cozy, and well-appointed. There is plenty of space for your group to relax and you'll find literally everything you need in the way of supplies, toiletries, kitchen gadgets, and appliances. Additionally, throughout the house were maps and suggestions for restaurants, hikes, shopping, biking, and local entertainment. The upper and lower outdoor patio and deck areas are well-lit and beautifully landscaped to enjoy a coffee, chats, and evening drinks and snacks. The firepit and lawn games are within sight of the patio and deck. If you really want to enjoy the lake, then you'll have to get on it! This vacation home includes a Hurricane deck boat that is perfect for touring the lakes. Jim made sure the boat was set up correctly and spent time with us together with our "boat captain" to discuss the marina service and boating on Lauderdale Lakes. Our time with Jim was a bonus! Thank you Jim, for making our vacation a 5 star experience. We hope to come back to see you again
