This was by far one of the cleanest VRBOs I’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen has everything you need, the beds are comfortable, the location was perfect to all the places we hiked and shopped, and the view while sitting on the porch was nothing but amazing! We had such a great stay! Jeremy was excellent to work with and we look forward to coming back next year! Thank you!

Higher Elevation is a little slice of paradise! Amazing views of Grandfather Mountain, and a great porch for watching the fog roll in and out. Jeremy is super responsive and checked on us a few times to make sure we had what we needed. Ample space- even with 4 teen boys! They loved the game area and bunk space downstairs was perfect for them. Kitchen really has all you need. Great location with Banner Elk, Boone and Blowing Rock within 15-20 minutes. We were there for 2 weeks and really didn't want to leave!

The house was immaculate inside and out. It was decorated very cutely with autumn decorations inside and out. Also, autumn scented candles in almost every room. We loved the gas fireplace in the evening when it was chilly. The kitchen was well stocked. We loved that there was coffee supplied and and even some plastic storage bags. There wasn’t anything we needed that was not already available in the kitchen. The TV is easy to operate. I think Jeremy was one of the best hosts we’ve ever had for a Vrbo!! He was always available if we had a question. Brochures and house pamphlet gave us plenty of information about things to do and where to go. If we have a chance, we would love to come back and stay at the same house again.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful and thoughtful review! It truly means a lot to hear how much you enjoyed the home and all the little touches we put into making it feel warm, welcoming, and comfortable, especially this time of year. There's nothing quite like a cozy evening by the fireplace during the fall! We take great pride in making sure our guests have everything they need, so hearing that you felt right at home is the best compliment we could receive. Your kind words about my hosting mean more than you know! It was an absolute pleasure hosting you, and I sincerely appreciate how well you cared for our home. I would love the opportunity to welcome you back to Higher Elevation for another stay and hopefully make even more wonderful memories! Thank you again for choosing our home for your getaway!

We love how convenient it is and how centrally located it is to get to everything. Our community is a hidden gem that gives us privacy for morning and afternoon walks in quiet surroundings. The view of Grandfather Mountain from the top or bottom covered deck is absolutely breathtaking. The rocking chairs are where we spend most of our time unless we're inside watching movies on the 75" SMART TV. Let's not forget the game room where the boys are always having a healthy competition in air hockey.
