Enjoy ocean views and refreshing sea breezes at this darling beach cottage in beautiful Bodega Bay! This charming retreat features a well-equipped kitchen to help you brew up your morning coffee or prepare full-course meals, a breakfast nook for mealtimes, laptops, or rainy day games, a gas fireplace, and a TV for streaming your favorite shows and movies. Enjoy the view from your front porch, or head out back and relax in one of the chaise lounges or play some cornhole in the grassy yard.

Parking notes: Street parking is available on a first-come-first-serve basis; parking is not guaranteed.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Salmon Creek Beech Cottage

We were pleasantly surprised how the home was very cozy and warm especially with its proximity to the beach. The view of the coast was wonderful. It was just right for the four of us and a 3 year old . It was very nice to have a fenced in yard. Some minor things that would improve this wonderful home. Some ants were an issue in the kitchen. Cheese grater would be great for pasta dinners.The coffee maker filter wasn’t cleaned in a few weeks so it was a biology experiment .

Still pretty good

We have stayed here several times and love this place and its location. . However, it wasn’t as clean as it has been in the past and we found ants in the master bedroom so I’d assume the blanket or comforter had something from a former stay on it.

Space and views excellent!

Loved the yard, views, home feel and warmth that was felt here. A great place for a family of four! Dunes and ocean a walk away! Highly recommend!

Amazing cottage with stellar views!

I loved that you could see the ocean, including the waves, from almost every room in the house. It was very cozy and comfortable.

So much potential

Great location and super cute yet there were a few things that were missed - 10am checkout. Way too early ! And they didn’t give any opportunities for pay to stay later - wifi was down half the trip - screens had holes in them and there were mosquitos - No deadbolts. Did not feel super secure especially with no blinds covering the exit door to the small bedroom

Beach house review

The house was a lovely beach house, great location. We enjoyed our stay. Perfect for a small family. Fun loft bed for kids. We needed drinking glasses, there was mostly wine glasses and two tall glasses. Would recommend a real curtain above the master bed as it was very bright without one. The two dining chairs were very uncomfortable.

Amazing cottage by the beach

Views of the beach from the cottage were wonderful. A short walk to the sand dunes which open up to the beautiful ocean beach. Great place to watch surfers and spend a day on the sand.

Great location and place

You are walking distance to the beach. It was centrally located too. The house was comfortable and had a great yard too! I probably missed it in the description but there was a washer and dryer too which was a nice bonus.

A sweet cottage BUT…

It is a very cute, sunny and bright cottage. Lots of windows and light. The kitchen is well organized and nicely stocked. Loved the plates! The gas burning fireplace was wonderful and necessary as the fog rolled in with the wind. Walk to the bay and ocean. Artists up the hill worth visiting. However, the cleaning should have been way better. The shower Matt’s were black with mold and underneath, awful mold. Couldn’t take a shower. Gross. Upon leaving I dropped an earring under the dresser, and discovered amongst the debris of dirt a large red capsule just waiting for a toddler to discover and ….? Not good. Very comfy bed and linens and quilts. Loved sitting out on patio for breakfast into the afternoon. Very nice place, but below cleaning standards. And please replace the filthy entrance rug!

Adorable cottage

House was very cozy. Great little yard and the views were fantastic! The only reason for a 4 star rating is because the house needs some TLC. Not all of the window covering’s worked (and the bed rooms needed covering’s on all windows), the beds/pillows weren’t in the best of shape and the carpet looked well loved. All in all, I’d stay there again. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Outstanding

Great property with beautiful views and super easy access to the beach. Other than a first night visit by the local racoons to the garbage can (a rock on the lid stopped any other visits) it was great. We would definitely go back again

Poor communication, gas fireplace inoperable, not clean dishes

The gas fireplace did not work and had a sign posted on it. Given that the listing features the fireplace in more than one place (including the pictures), I think it should have been working or we should have been notified that it was not working (or received a reduced rate). Certainly, at minimum, the listing should be corrected for future guests. Also, the place was not very clean (including dishes in the cupboard that were not well washed).

Cozy & Perfect Location

We loved the location of this cozy little cottage. Just a short walk to beach and delightful ocean smells. The cottage was well enough equipped for our family and we even enjoyed playing some games that were available for our use.

Comfy beach cottage

The location was excellent, ocean views were beautiful, and easy drive to restaurants. The trash cans outside need to be secure from wildlife, had to pick up trash scattered by raccoons. Used wood to keep lid closed and secure. Windows need cleaning inside and out, noticeable with the spectacular view. The propane fire place in the living room was unusable due to the gas smell through the house. If the these things are fixed we would book here again.

Perfect getaway

We loved our stay at the Seaside Cottage and we highly recommend it. The house was sparkling clean on our arrival. All instructions were simple and easy to find, and there was even a fresh stack of firewood for the outdoor firepit. The house is adorable with great views and a cozy beachy vibe that we loved. The bed in the primary bedroom was incredibly comfortable as well! It's a perfect getaway and we can't wait to return to Seaside Cottage.
