Perfect!!!! Comfortable peaceful and WOW THE VIEWS!!!!!! I only wish I booked this for longer.Only critique is the 10am checkout was too early. For the cost, 12pm would be more realistic.

This place was the perfect peace and quiet that I had been needing. Everything was as described online and the process was seamless from start to finish. The added optional amenities were the perfect addition to my weekend of retreat. The sound of the waves and the view from the wrap around back porch were amazing. Increased by the deer that visited often. Would absolutely stay here again!!My only suggestion would be to have a slider on the back door so that guests can leave the door open to hear the waves from the kitchen and living room area without letting flies in.Also bedroom slider screen could use an adjustment to fix the gap that I believe let some of those flies in as well.

It's our second time staying here, and we will be back. We use it as a base for sightseeing from Bodega Bay to Point Reyes. Just wish we had a longer vacation.

Dillon Beach and wine country

Breaking Waves was a cozy open floor plan with huge windows to enjoy the beautiful Tomales Bay, Point Reyes area, and Bodega Bay. Convenient to a lot of activities and Napa / Sonoma wine country. Highly recommended.

Very Nice

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect it’s very quiet and the views are beautiful. We really enjoyed the sunsets. Our host was very responsive and willing to accommodate. I highly recommend this property .

As shown in photos this cottage has spectacular Bodega Bay views - rock cliffs to the north; beach to the south. The kitchen is excellently outfitted with every device and spices, oils, condiments etc. Made making meals very easy and pleasant. Inside furniture is very comfy with afghans for cozying up. You are asked to tend to outdoor cushions on a daily basis, hauling in and out. The west facing windows give great sunset views but also heat up the house incredibly (west windows are not thermal and do not open) -- we often had to have the shades down at times when we would have preferred looking out at the ocean. We kept doors open a lot to keep fresh air circulating in the house. Beds & pillows are very comfortable. We saw deer outside nearly every morning grazing on the succulents that line the cliff and spied a bobcat out the front door one day, not to mention a large variety of birds flying by. The walk to the beach covers very steep incines, up and down, but the nearby public beach is a lovely place to hang out. This is a really pleasant place to spend time.

Unbeatable views

We had a wonderful time staying in this Dillon Beach property. The deck and views are amazing, and the living space is so cozy — perfect for meals together and looking out at the ocean. We would definitely go back!

Second Time Back...We'll Be Back Again!

We love bringing our family to Breaking Waves and have stayed here multiple times. The views and coziness are perfect for recharging with the kids. Board games, TV, cooking and walks on the beach make for a perfect coastal getaway!
