Hi, thank you for your feedback. We strive to make sure that our condo meets our guests’ standards. We have a cleaning service that comes in each week. Because it is a quick turnover, it is difficult for us to get in to inspect. We have not had previous complaints but will make sure to address. We will also make sure to leave out a vacuum as soon as we can back into the condo.l - very helpful advice. We would have been happy to address the issues if you had raised it during my check in communication with you in which you indicated everything was great. Hi Michelle, I am sorry that you did not have a five star review. I wish you had let us know that we fell below five stars because I am sure we could have done something to improve your experience to a five star level. The disposal was just jammed - there is a tool under the sink that is used to unjam it. The coffee maker looked fine but we replaced it anyway. Not sure how the hot tub was checked. In the two years we have been doing VRBO no one has ever pointed that out. Thank you for your stay and the feedback.

Sara, Thank you for staying with us. We are sorry that you stay wasn’t what you expected. We strive for 5-star reviews and our average review is over 4.5. We welcome constructive criticism and feedback - that ensures that our guests have an amazing stay. However, we are disappointed that your review was disingenuous and exaggerated the issues you encountered. Unforeseen issues pop up from time to time as a result of the quick summer turnaround and less-than-stellar guests. We make it a point to address every issue quickly. Bottom Line: We found no issues when we inspected the place after your visit. It was clear after you declined any of our remedies, including to bring in a pest technician, that you were not interested in us addressing any issue you raised. When we inspected the shower liner, which had been replaced less than 30 days before, we noticed it has some soap grime but no mildew and there was no smell coming from the bathroom – at all. That said, we always appreciate constructive, honest feedback and will have our cleaning service replace our liners every few weeks going forward. In addition, sometimes guests leave without following our rules. For example, we are sorry that the dishwasher was full. If you were concerned about whether the dishes were clean, running another cycle would have given you that comfort. When the dishwasher does not appear clean, our cleaning team runs it in advance of the next guest’s arrival. When you claimed that the bathroom smelled and that all of your guests were using one bathroom, we immediately offered to have it inspected and recleaned by our staff. That is obviously a significant issue, if true. People are fallible and sometimes things are overlooked. Surprisingly, you declined due to it being a “disruption.” It remains unclear to us why, if this was an issue, you decline our offer to identify the smell and reclean the bathroom and, instead, opted to use one bathroom for the entire stay – a much bigger disruption. Neither our cleaners nor we found a foul smell post-visit. Similarly, our pest technician could not find any pest issues but we had him treat the place out of an abundance of caution. Your escalating complaints appeared to be a way to support a request for a refund. We know the weather was not great that week, but our condo is a perfect place to enjoy a relaxing vacation and in close proximity to a lot of entertainment, restaurants, and things to do, even on rainy days. Our guests have overwhelmingly enjoyed our condo, as have our own family and friends. It is an excellent place to vacation or use when in town for an event at the convention center. We hope our guests will continue to enjoy "Sandy Feet Retreat" as they have for the last three years.
