Spruce Tree Retreat is within walking distance to the grocery store, tavern, and local restaurants. Spruce Tree Retreat is also a prime location for many of the Black Hills most popular activities - just minutes from Deadwood, Mickelson Trail. and Terry Peak Ski Resort, only 20 minutes from Sturgis, and less than an hour from Mt. Rushmoore Monument.

Ski Trip

Brought my family for the weekend for a ski trip, stayed in this house and it was really nice, the upstairs is great for teens and younger kids, not so much for older people, just because you have to go up and down a spiral staircase to be able to get to restroom, but the kids and teens loved it. Everything was great as far as cooking utensils, towels and plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The one thing I didn't like is that there was no broom, I like to be able to sweep and keep things tidy even though I'm on vacation. And also it's a little tricky finding it and not great parking. But if your looking for a nice little house to stay a weekend are a few more days it was perfect

Excellent house!

Beautiful house nestled in the Black Hills! Plenty of room for lots of family! Would highly recommend.

This property was not the one I thought I had rented, it was too late to do any modifications, it was a big weekend in Lead and accommodation where had to come by.
