The place was great, just what we were hoping for. Coffee machines were awesome. Proximity to Taylor Bay and Sapodilla Bay were great. Small beach at bottom of stairs is great for little kids. Paddleboarding is good on the creek, just make sure you catch it not at low tide or you’ll be walking!

Everything you need!

This property was perfect for our party of 4. Had everything we needed for a little fun in the sun while providing that home away from home feeling. Our favorite parts were the private beach and screened porch. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need for cooking at home.

Great vacation

We stayed for a week with our two young kids and had a great time. The pool is excellent and clean. The house was nice and was the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever had at a rental. We really enjoyed afternoons on the pool deck overlooking the sound. It doesn’t get more peaceful than that!

The best place we could have chosen!

This place was amazing. The private beach and private pool made our vacation!The cottage is so cute and comfortable!There were so many extra helpful items- from paddle boards, to beach toys, floaters and a fully stocked kitchen to use.The screened in porch was amazing to sit out and eat meals!Overall was amazing for our family and we are so glad we found this place! Would highly recommend!

Paradise found

Fantastic house with beautiful views. Loved the screened in outdoor room, and beautifully landscaped grounds around the pool. Water access with small private beach was amazing!!

Great location

The house was perfect for my family of 3. House was just a couple minutes away from sapodilla bay which ended up being our favorite beach. The house also has a beautiful view.

A great home base for the week

Overall, the property fit our needs really well and we enjoyed an amazing week in TCI. We’re a couple in our late 40s and the home offered peace and quiet, with the ability to explore the area at our own pace. The pros:Location is great; in a high end community with luxury homes and incredible views all around. We made use of the paddle boats a few times…so great to be able to walk right down to the water and paddle over to a few tiny secluded beaches (but that paddle back is a challenge for even the most fit!).

Paradise

My family had a wonderful stay in Turks and Caicos. The villa is about 15-20 minutes from Grace Bay which was totally fine for us because most everything back home is a 30 minute commute. With that being said, we loved being secluded; having our own pool and beach was a huge hit with our children!

Our home base for the best vacation ever

This property is gorgeous, well located, well maintained, and lives up to it's billing. My family spent two weeks here and leaving was so difficult and sad because we loved it here so much. We're very much not resort people and this offers amazing privacy, comfort, beauty and easy access to the best beach on the island Taylor Bay. Having our own little beach for beautiful moonlit nights was such a plus. When you're not eating out the kitchen is outfitted with brand new appliances and was great. I can't imagine a better place to stay on Provo!

Stunning property, great experience

The property is amazing. It was perfect for my husband and I for the week. The views are great and accommodations are comfortable. We had everything we needed. Grocery store is 10-15 mins away so a rental car was needed. Nearest restaurant down the street was lovely too, las brisas. Neighborhood was nice, walkable. Views all around are stunning. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect get away for a family of 4

We stayed here with our two young daughters and could not have been happier with our choice. The property was spacious and private, near several public beaches we enjoyed visiting. When our kids got tired, or our youngest needed a nap, we could quickly head back to the house, where our older daughter could play in the pool or down on the beach while the younger napped. The host is super responsive and very friendly. The worst part of our stay was leaving; I basically had to drag my family out of the house. Days later, everyone still talked about the trip and how they loved the house. It was a fantastic island getaway!

Lovely two-bedroom on Silly Creek

This is a newly renovated property on Silly Creek. The house is a comfortable charming two-bedroom with all the usual amenities and a screened porch, full sized pool, dock and water boards. The property manager Shelly was kind and helpful. The area is quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend this property. Exactly what we were looking for!

Quiet & Cute Property

This property was in a great location and just right for two people. It had all the items you would need. I stayed for two weeks and didn't have any issues. I did speak to the home owner after the visit as the property manager was hard to reach. She was very helpful.

An idyllic family getaway

My husband and I stayed at Villa Serena with our two children (ages 5 and almost 2). The stay far exceeded our expectations. The property’s location is perfect with its proximity to Taylor Bay and the small private beach onsite. We felt very safe at the villa and while exploring the island through the day. We were pleasantly surprised to see two paddle boards available for use, which we used to explore Silly Creek. Shelly, the property manager, was responsive and attentive to our needs. Our family has made lifelong memories at Villa Serena and we hope to be back. So thankful to the owners for sharing this special place!

Perfect house in paradise

The house was well equipped and the property maintained. The location on Chalk Sound was quiet and beautiful. It was easy to navigate the island to beaches and restaurants in other areas. The pool was great to have for the afternoons after the beach and our kids loved it. The owners are very responsive and the property manager was helpful, although at times took a while to respond. When we first arrived we waited 2 hours to get into the house and after calling several times she answered only to tell us where the key was located. An email with that detail upon arrival would have helped. We were all tired from our day of travel. Outside of that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Silly Creek Hideaway

We are an older couple who were seeking privacy and quiet and this lovely villa provided both. It is beautifully appointed with a lovely functional kitchen and a bonus for us was the shady screened-in porch where we could spend the midday period out of the sun and sit in the eveings with the lovely view across the creek. The pool is a delight and was well used by us and our daughter's family when they dropped by. The little beach is lovely for sandcastle building but not ideal for swimming as the sand was a bit muddy and one tended to get stuck. The villa was described as being on Chalk Sound which is not accurate, it is on the other side of the road, but this was a very minor problem! We were very happy there and would most certainly go back.

Vacation in Paradise

We ( family of 4)had a wonderful time staying at this lovely villa. It was so peaceful, away from the Grace Bay Bay Area and all the resorts. The day we arrived there was a torrential down pour and there was some flooding on our drive from the airport- and we regretted our choice in car rental, but the car managed fine on some pot holes roads. Next time we would rent a 4x4 though. The house had everything we needed to make our week very comfortable. Having our own pool was such a treat! And the owner, was very responsive to any questions we had which was great. There were a couple of things that need repairing - towel rack in the bathroom was off the wall and there was a large tear in the fly screen on the screened in porched. These were just minor things though. I would highly recommend this beautiful property if you are looking to vacation in paradise away from the crowds. I hope to come back!

Fantastic Villa

It was our first time to Turk and Caicos and this place did not disappoint. The pictures don't do it justice. Location on Silly Creek in Chalk Sound area was great for us. It was quiet, easy acces to the water for paddle boarding and the pool was refreshing with fantastic views day and night. The screened in porch was wonderful if you are worried about bugs. There was a cooler, beach bags and beach toys (if you have kids) available for use. The beds were comfortable, hot water and the kitchen had everything you would want as we cooked breakfast and some dinners. You do need a rental vehicle but we found it easy to get out and explore the entire island as needed. It's close to Taylor and Sopadilla beaches. Less than a 3 minute drive to each of those great beaches. But we went to the Grace Bay area along with others and never more than 30 minutes. Property Manager (Lois) was new to this property but very attentive and open to helping with any needs. We had none but he would still check in on us. Super nice and helpful!

An amazing week

We had an amazing week at Cailean’s place in Chalk Sound. Upon our arrival, Shelly the property manager greeted us at the house and showed us around the property. She explained where things were located and how certain things worked. There were five of us in total staying at the house (3 adults and 2 children). There was plenty of space and the house was very clean. It had everything we needed for a week(beach towels, beach bags, pool toys, bathroom towels, cookware, spices, blender, coffee maker, etc. ) We spent most of our time out in the lanai and by the pool which has stunning views out onto the water/ocean. There are some stairs at the side of the property that also lead down to the water where we did some stand up paddle boarding. The water is very shallow and calm. There is also a small private beach area with the softest white sand. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed making sand castles here during low tide . There are 2 beaches close to the property: Sapodilla Bay and Taylor Bay. Both of these beaches were great for our kids. While we spent a lot of our time in the Chalk Sound area, I definitely recommend renting a car to check out other beautiful areas of the island such as Grace Bay. It is about a 20 minute drive from the property to the Grace Bay Area where we spent some time shopping, swimming and eating at some great restaurants. Thank you Cailean for an amazing week. We will definitely be back!

Lots of potential but missed the mark

Overall the house is in good condition and what you see in the advertisement. Some positives are modern finish out, paddle boards for use, private bay beach and tvs in each room.The air conditioning and the hot water worked well. The house was clean and the attendants were helpful and kind. The kitchen was modern and has been recently redone it seemed. The high tech stove was complicated and didn’t work with all pans in the house. There were issues with the electrical system (took a 1/2 day to resolve), and various parts of the home that were nonfunctioning. The jacuzzi bath is not operable. The ceiling fan remote batteries were dead in nearly all remotes. We found a pair of batteries and individually changed out the batteries for all ceiling fans but continued to have difficulty operating them. The living room fan never worked, was stuck on exit mode and worked for only minutes. The outside lights wouldn’t work until the last night (after messing with various cords), pool plaster was crumbling. Further, the outside was over grown ( views) & 75% of the dock lights were broken. Limited beach towels for the whole house and no soap, shampoo, conditioner or bathroom products. The washer and dryer are located in an unlit closet outside of the house and it is difficult wash clothes at night. There were 2 trash can liners for the whole house as well. Basically this was a cute house that was unstocked with need of upkeep. It was definitely not worth the money spent.

The weather was great. The house?The fan in living room did not work. The overhead light in one of the bedrooms did not work.The lights on the side of the pool do not light.The light in the pool did not light.The string of overhead lights around the property, 24 of the bulbs did not work.There are no dressers in either bedroom.The freezer in not functioning in the fridge.The screens are on notice to be fixed.Our code did not work to open the front door when we arrived.The property is not well maintained.
