Great place for a large group to meet up and hang out. Great common spaces and a really functional kitchen. The bathroom heaters are fantastic in the winter time.

This was the absolute BEST house we could have picked for our book club’s first ever reading retreat! There was so much space for all of us to spread out and get cozy. The view was spectacular. The house was well-stocked. The beds were extremely comfortable and it felt like a home away from home. The host was also super helpful! We hope to come back in the future!

Group of Ladies Auxiliary from Brownsburg, In - we do a girls weekend yearly and stay at different cities. This house was perfect and we loved the river view and how most bedrooms were on first floor. We definitely will return!

We loved the property! Location on a beautiful river was perfect. Little ones had so much fun playing in the water, the campfire area was also so fun. Only comment to make was that queen bed downstairs may need some repairs. The bed was at a slight tilt. Overall highly recommend!! We would stay again!

Great house for family gathering

Property sits right close to the river. Sitting on the deck was wonderful for our group. We took advantage of the grill and had a wonderful family dinner. We didn’t use the tiki hut area as much as we thought , no issues with bedrooms or bathroom counts , worked out great. Good time was had by all.

Great outdoor space!!

Large spacious home for plenty of room for a large group to sleep. Amazing access to the river with great fire pit and outdoor location.

Great location and fun for the whole family

Shared this house with the family for the week and it was tremendous! Awesome location right on the river that offered water fun, great fishing and at times just simple relaxation. Location was also very convenient to Brookville late for boating and swimming. Massive house and yard also provided privacy and fun for all!

Beautiful property - enjoyed our stay

This property was gorgeous and had everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay, and I'd highly recommend this property to anyone! It's in such a beautiful setting, on a river complete with fire pit/wood and plenty of seating on the patio overlooking the river. The rooms were spacious and we loved having the large dining table. And, wow, the upstairs loft was so cool!

Best place to stay in Brookville!

This house was worth every penny! Location was amazing, fishing and playing at the property was perfect. Rooms and beds are comfortable. Plenty of space. Highly highly recommend spending the extra money on this house. They had everything we needed.bAfter activities all day tje kids couldnt wait to come back and hang here. Thank you for everything! A+

Friends/Nurses annual trip

We are a group of ladies who enjoy a yearly trip. This property was absolutely perfect. There was plenty of room for our group of 12. The waters bank absolutely made it incredible. We had a 10 person float tied off for 3 days. The fire pit and outside kitchen/bar is wonderful. There were enough towels and the kitchen stocked well. We have been changing destinations but plan to set up here for 3 days again. It was simply perfect!

Fun Girl’s Trip

We really enjoyed our stay at the house! Good location for our Girlfriend Kayaking Trip. Plenty of space in the house, able to put kayaks in up stream and come down river and beach them right at house. Also enjoyed a lazy day playing in the water and a riverside campfire. Only issues were that the refrigerator was not clean and would have been nice if back deck & patio would have been swept and cleaned before we arrived. Overall it was great time and we look forward to staying again!

Our family loved this cute, rustic home.

The backyard is amazing! The home had more than enough space, beds and bathrooms for our family of 10, teens and adults. Very clean and had all the extras, coffee pods, dish soap, bathroom soap, dishwasher and laundry detergent too. Our mission was to ski this trip, the slopes were a 20 minute drive. Great communication with the host. We will be back.

Just right

The home sits right on the river. The big deck was just the place to drink a cup of coffee or glass of wine and relax. We watched two eagles fly back and forth over the river. The home is big very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen was just right for preparing then sharing our Thanksgiving dinner. We would go back.

Miami University friends 45th reunion.

This property was perfect for our group of 8 adult friends- 4 couples. We used the patio and fire pit areas for most of our activities but the huge kitchen and table for 8 inside was also great. It would have been a problem to have more couples stay overnight without bringing inflatable mattresses. A highlight of the weekend was watching a bald eagle fish for his breakfast while we were having our morning coffee on the patio and enjoying the stars at night. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home, Abbey! We will be back!!!

A completely wonderful stay!

We booked this VRBO as a location to enjoy viewing the total eclipse of 2024. We cannot say enough good things about this home and its location -- enough bedrooms and bathrooms to make a thoroughly comfortable stay; huge kitchen and eating area which opened onto very large deck equipped with gas barbecue; plenty of outdoor furniture in strategic locations to gather and enjoy the outdoors. The home is on the river so the younguns were able to try their hand at fishing. The firepit was located in a nice space that was a little bit away from the house which was great because there was no smoke odor in the house. There is plenty of room on the property to set up a cornhole game or play catch. Finally, the upstairs included a terrific tv and game area to relax away from the action on the first floor. obviously, we loved the place! (And hope to return some day.)

Needed freshened up

Bathrooms and flooring all very nice and new. In the original listing it listed a hot tub as an amenity, which I was looking for. We had some kids with us and they were excited about a hot tub. I had passed up other properties that I personally liked the location better, for this one because of the hot tub. After getting there and the next day realizing there is no hot tub we looked at the listing and hot tub is no longer listed! I had taken a screenshot and some of the other adults had seen it so we know it was listed. Abbey had no response other than that she didn’t know how that got on there as an amenity. I would have expected a bit of a reimbursement but whatever! Also it looked as though no one had been in there for well over a month, the clocks hadn’t been changed for daylight savings time (our stay was thanksgiving weekend 2024) and there were many dead bugs that needed swept up, many, many cobwebs and it was freezing in there. The downstairs bedrooms were very cold the entire stay. I feel like for the money we paid it could have definitely been freshened up before we arrived. It also lists a playground, not sure what or where that was.
