Sweet and Cozy two bedroom Lake Erie Cottage -PET FRIENDLY!

Newly renovated, two bedroom Cottage near the shores of Lake Erie and the GOTL Strip. Come relax or enjoy all the excitement that GOTL has to offer! This sweet little Cottage is nicely set up for a ladies' weekend, a trip with friends, couples retreat or family getaway to the lake. Terrific location, easily walkable to Breakwater Beach and the Strip, and a short drive to Spire and the wineries. Located directly across the street from Lake Erie.



Welcome to Drop Anchor Cottages, Cottage #3. This 540 square foot cottage was built in the 1940's and originally stood in the historic Chestnut Grove, one of the area's first cottage encampments. We believe that the Cottage was moved to the current location in the late 1960s when the Lodge was built.

Cottage #3 will comfortably house and sleep five guests. Each of the Cottage's two bedrooms has a full bed with a brand new memory foam mattress. There is a new pull out full size sofa bed in the living room. We provide bed linens for all three of the beds.

This Cottage has a smaller, cozy living area with one sofa, a dining room table that seats four, and a nice sized kitchen.

The kitchen has a refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, coffee pot and toaster. It is fully appointed with cookware, dishes and silverware, and should provide you with what you need during your stay. The Cottage also includes a coffee and tea set up for your enjoyment during your stay with us.


The bathroom has a walk in shower and is supplied with bath linens for four as well as emergency toiletries.

Cottage 3 is wifi equipped and has a wall mounted flat screen tv for streaming. It has a drying rack for towels and swimsuits, and a basket of colorful beach towels for use during your stay. There is a small wall mounted heater for chilly nights, and a window AC, and two portable fans for those Lake Erie summers.

Keyless entry system for flexible check- in.

Situated on a large open courtyard, which has four cottages in total. You will have full use of this courtyard, as well as your own outdoor seating, charcoal grill, and a picnic table with an umbrella. The courtyard has a fire-pit for our guests to enjoy and we provide the firewood!

This cottage is DOG FRIENDLY. We allow up to 2 pet guests during your stay. YOU MUST ADD YOUR PET AS A GUEST USING THE DROP DOWN MENU DURING THE RESERVATION PROCESS. IF you want to bring a dog, you will need to pay a 50$ pet cleaning fee.

Please note that there is a step up into the cottage.

Our property is located directly across the street from the lake. This Cottage is nestled against the woods, outdoor amenities have a more private feel.

If you are planning on visiting the lake with a larger group and would like to book more than one Cottage, please be in touch! We have 4 Cottages
and a larger Lake House on the the property, and can accommodate up to 31 guests, availability permitting.

Parking is directly behind the Cottage, on grass. We ask that you limit yourself to as few vehicles as possible when staying with us, as parking on the property is limited. You will have space for a maximum of two vehicles when staying at the cottage, if you park the vehicles in a single file line. Additional parking is available nearby on the Strip.
