Perched on a private ridge above Clearlake, Jago Bay Cottage offers sweeping views of California’s largest natural freshwater lake, Mt. Konocti, and 14 acres of thriving Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards. This fully gated estate provides a serene, secluded retreat—perfect for relaxing, reconnecting, and enjoying Lake County’s natural beauty.

The 3-bedroom, 2-bath home features an open floorplan with a wall of windows framing the breathtaking scenery. The fully equipped kitchen flows into the dining and living areas, making it ideal for cooking, entertaining, or sipping local wine while taking in the view.

Tesla car charger (220V not available for other cars)

While the home does not have direct lake access, multiple marinas nearby make fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding easy to enjoy.

Pool depth: 11 inches – 5.5 feet; solar-heated May–October

No pets due to rural setting

Check lake water levels before planning activities

Booking requires acceptance of property manager’s rental agreement (Airbnb guests excluded)

It was fantastic. Just what I needed. Beautiful, clean, great view, wonderful pool. Love the porch with the rocking chairs. Watched the sunrise every day.!

Lazy Stay in Paradise

A simple beautiful home perched atop a vineyard, with quiet gorgeous sunrise views from the long lovely deck, dipping in the infinity pool, and the hot tub is among the best. Perfect for a lazy stay in paradise.

My husband and I had a wonderfully restful 3 nights at this property, just admiring the lake view & watching the wildlife & sunsets from very comfortable outdoor furniture on the decks. All the furniture was very comfortable though some could use a cleaning. The kitchen was well-equipped & clean, as were bathrooms. Bedrooms are small & a small dresser would help, but the bed & linens were comfortable. The pool was stellar & made the stay worth every penny - we'd return just for the pool & view alone. Checking in & out was easy and allowed us to have a relaxed morning before leaving. We'd love to go back.

Serene Retreat

The Jago Bay home provided our family with a much needed place to unwind. Clearlake was especially warm with temperatures up to 100. The pool was a welcome relief, so we didn’t venture far. The online description was accurate about linens, cooking equipment and grill. The only thing we would have added, would be bedside lamps for evening reading.

Amazing views

We rented this property as a weekend getaway, and pictures do not do it justice. The views are amazing. It was very private. There was a lot of wildlife that we saw. We would definitely rent here again.

Nice quiet place to stay

The hot tub was clean and ready to use. The location on the hillside above the vineyards was enjoyable. Other then a little confusion on where to leave the trash all was well.

Perfect for the family

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The view is incredible and the home is very comfortable. Despite the weather we had a great time as did our kids. We spent lots of time in the hot tub and out on the deck with heaters and plenty of seating. Debi the property manager was responsive, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend this unique vacation spot!

Beautiful Views

This property was stunning. The views were even better then the photos. It was very hot the weekend we were there and the AC was not working well, but it did not take from the great time we had! They have everything you would need at the house. Would book this property again.

Great view

This was such a wonderful property! My family and I stayed for 4 nights and had a great time! The house is up on a hill and there’s not much else around but the view is absolutely stunning!! The house was well stocked and the beds were super comfy. The open concept made for a great place to hang out. They had just added the drown proof pool cover and we were very thankful as we brought our 22 month old with us. I will note that the deck is not great for small kids- there’s no railing so you need to have eyes on little ones at all times! Overall we had a blast and would love to come back!
