My Little Cottage in Jamaica

My Little Cottage in Jamaica sits on an acre of rocky shore in the quiet friendly community of Cousins Cove, 20 minutes from Negril and approx 1 hour from Montego Bay airport. Over 300 ft of waterfront is all yours to enjoy. Jump off for a morning swim, tan on your own perched sandy beach or watch the sunset from your gazebo. This recently refurbished one bedroom has all the modern conveniences. Maybe you will even venture out with a fisherman to catch your own dinner.
Guest access
Guests have the option of hiring one of our recommended experienced drivers to take them to the property. Guests will be provided with codes for entry to the property and the cottage. Coastal vegetation still dominates half of the 1 acre proeprty so you will prefer the manicured grounds immediately around the cottage and the rugged shoreline
Other things to note
The cottage has all the conveniences to prepare your own meals but you may prefer to call in our cook/housekeeper to prepare your meals. She may also go shopping for you at the local supermarket.
You may also enjoy the local Jamaican cuisine by ordering in from a nearby partner community restaurant and your meals will be personally delivered to the cottage.

Our cottage stay in Cousins Cove,Jamaica

The process of renting the property was easy. The cottage itself was very clean and very cozy, which was exactly what we were looking for. Being close to the water was a plus too, but access to the sea was not what we expected. There was no sand, only rocky shoreline that was painful on the feet. Besides that, it was a wonderful vacation setting.

Beautiful, peaceful retreat

We fully enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The grounds are beautiful and secluded. The waterfront feels incredibly private and we appreciated the multiple areas to relax near the water. The cottage is small but it's clean, well-equipped and thoughtfully decorated. Definitely feels more "cozy" than "cramped". The road from Montego Bay is pretty easy to travel and there are several options for food and groceries in Green Island. Negril is roughly 30 minutes away and has even more to offer, including some of the longest and softest beaches we've visited in the Caribbean. Thanks for a great stay and we hope to return sometime soon!

Did not stay

I did not want to stay there it was not up to my standards and I need to be refunded fed some of my money Vrbo is unnecessary if you are not going to make sure I am satisfied with the place no guardrails for customers I would not stay there and if you don’t assist in the refund of some of my money’s I will be fighting this charge and never using your services again

Beautiful Ocean Views, Can’t Beat That!

Locating the property would have been easier to find if we had google map “My Little Cottage, just like host had suggested. It takes you right there. The one thing we believe will make the place more enjoyable would be a microwave, just to warm up your food, if you needed to. Conroy, the “care taker” for property was “amazing”! If you choose to stay here and you need anything, he is the one to call. He responded (same for host) to every request and phone call. Both were excellent when it came to responding to request. It was our first year “anniversary” and we wanted something “special” when we arrived. Host coordinated the arrangement for us. The selection of fruit was good, however the room was a little warm upon arrival and therefore fruit didn’t last as long as it could have. Suggest that in future, any arrangement like that, we recommend that the A/C is turned on low until “guests” arrive. Overall, our rating for the cottage is “Excellent”, On e you go, you will want to return.

We have travelled the world and have experienced the full range of accommodations from hostels in Luxembourg to villas in Costa Rica to 5-star hotels in Miami. These varied experiences inspired our creation of this cottage and guide our relationships with our guests. We love to travel, meet people, and listen to their stories.

This property is for you if you want sun, sea, and serenity in a private setting, yet be in close proximity to some action. We created this space as our private getaway, where we can feel lost from the world yet have easy access to it with good wifi and a 20-minute drive to action in the tourist town of Negril. Cousins Cove is a hidden gem where local fisherfolks still cook their catch on the shoreline (and will invite you to join), and just next door are a few exclusive private villas. This harmony is an unusual find. You will hear kids play football (soccer) on the nearby community field, but only if you listen beyond the chirps of birds in the surrounding trees or the lapping of waves on the rocky shoreline. Our cottage is decorated with cheerful colours and has all the modern conveniences for comfort. At My Little Cottage, life goes at the pace you choose.
