Mountainside Resort has issued a do-not-drink water mandate due to high PFAS levels. Water is also available at the Mountainside office and pool area. Additionally, the owner has provided drinkable water in the unit. Water should only be used in instances where it is not being consumed.

Explore scenic hiking trails in the warmer months or carve powder on premier ski trails in the winter months. Whatever type of outdoor adventure you crave, this Mountainside Resort condo offers year-round fun! After a day on the trails, stroll to one of several neighborhood restaurants, breweries, or pubs.

Start your day with a cup of coffee on the balcony that features seating for six and peekaboo mountain views. Prepare home-cooked meals in the kitchen, then dine at the six-person table.

As part of the Mountainside Resort, you'll enjoy access to a range of vacation-style amenities. Make a splash in the indoor heated pool or take a leisurely soak in the indoor hot tub. Practice your back swing on the tennis courts or your free throws on the basketball court.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

A great little getaway

The condo was clean and centrally located. For the price, you can't beat it! Unit was a little aged but everything worked. Pool and hot tub are a nice touch. A little strange about the "after-hours" key, but not a big deal. Overall we would definitely stay here again.

good and near the mountain

good and simple - a perfect place to crash for a weekend getaway. the kitchen doesn't have many supplies, so if you need something specific, bring it (except a cone drop coffee maker, which they have). water didn't really get hot either, which was a bummer

It's basically somewhere to sleep. Never found the pool. WiFi would not stay connected, was not informed that there was a do not drink the water issue for the area, though they provided alternative water and said drinking water was available at the pool, again never found that. The day we were leaving the cleaners showed up about 45 minutes before we were to check out and seemed shocked that we hadn't left... basically said oh your still here. Not exactly something you want to hear. Don't think I'd stay here again

Home was. Very clean, very comfortable. We were happy to see a few little upgrades to decor. The only thing is the water pressure was bad in one bathroom and the kitchen. The throw rug in the kitchen is a trip hazard. That should be removed.

Water pressure and flow of hot water very weak/delayed. Vacasa Management not much help. Kitchen decently stock but very little work area. Oh, the guests upstairs were obnoxiously loud—a risk you take in a mid-level condo unit.

Overall, it was a very nice experience with a few suggestions.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The place was very clean. There were multiple lightbulbs out and we looked for replacements and there weren’t any. There were also multiple mouse traps around. The ones in the kitchen or understandable but the ones in the bedrooms were a little bit disturbing.

Excellent Location Unit cleanliness and maintenance not to par

The location is perfect. The cleanliness was less than good, the kitchen only had 4 forks and 3 spoons while it is claimed to accomodate 6 people. The water never got warm enough to be able to shower so we went 2 days of skiing and snowshoeing without being able to shower. However, the smoke detector started chirping early one morning and maintenance got there that afternoon to replace the batteries.

Bad place. Do not stay

Lack of communication before hand that they are under a boil water requirement at the condo only. No hot water. Amenities advertised were available with a code but took 12 hrs to get the code. Communication very very poor

Not bad, but could have been better.

For the most part it was a very nice place. I had a few issues that were not addressed even when brought to their attention… the gas fireplace did not work properly, the kitchen sink had no water pressure and the hallway bathroom shower would not stay hot or even warm. Ice cold showers in cool VT are not fun… the only window in one is the bedrooms was also broken and it made for uncomfortable “stuffy” sleeping to not be able to crack it for fresh air. I had to sleep with the bedroom door open and open the sliders to get some air flow. Not great for privacy when sharing the unit with others. Also, could be a safety issue not being able to open the only window in an emergency.

Hot water was not working

The hot water was not coming through the water taps. In the morning only if you run the water from taps for 15-20 mins, then only get the hot water comes (it's waste of a lot of water). The water taps in entire unit was not working well (hard tapes to operate, water pressure was too low except kitchen sink). In kitchen sink there was no option for hot water at all. Also if you start water in one bathroom, the other bathroom will reduces it's water flow. Saw some unwashed cups in the available utensils and cups section in kitchen. Once I operate microwave, the entire kitchen lights were off (The main switch tripped). they fixed it with a service request but overall it was not too good experience for the money they charge.

Great location and view

The location of the unit was perfect. Essentially in the middle of stowe so everything is a short drive. The view from the dining room table is amazing especially since it snowed recently.
