We had the pleasure of staying at this house for the second time, and it was an absolute delight. The house felt like home, and the pool and nearby beach provided the perfect setting for relaxation. The private beach was a highlight, and knowing that Chandler had our chairs ready for us made our stay even more enjoyable.

The home was very clean. The layout, pool, and proximity to the beach were perfect for our family. The view from the pool/deck was beautiful. We had a small issue with getting the correct code to get through the front gate but the host was very quick to respond and accommodating. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Very nice property with heated pool (65 per day) in gated area of Destin a couple of blocks from the beach. Overlooks lake. Well stocked kitchen. Artificial turf rather than real grass so need to walk pets across the street to relieve themselves. Wifi/Internet was unreliable. Pool light was not operable.

My apologies for any inconvenience, as well as for the internet, I have reached out to the ISP and the situation has since been resolved! And for the record, it's all right to let pets relieve themselves on the artificial turf just as you would on regular grass, and then clean up after them just the same either way! :) Thanks again for your kind words and valuable feedback, happy to host you again anytime!

This property was just like the listing, easy to book and communicate with host. It is super close to restaurants and shops and also the private beach. The guys loved fishing from the backyard.

Really enjoyed staying here. The walk to the beach was not far at all and my 2 year old had a blast walking over the bridge. Afternoons by the pool overlooking the lake was awesome as well!

Loved it!

The house is absolutely perfect! Very clean, stocked with everything we needed, and the pool was the highlight of our afternoons. The host were very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again.

A Great Location!!!

We enjoyed the great views of the lake and the easy walk to the beach. We took 2 mile walks each morning; then spent a couple of hours at beach each day. The home was comfortable, spacious and nicely laid out.

Overall this was a pleasant stay. There were some issues that were brought to the host’s attention, but it felt as though all responses were more so excuses and not solutions.The pool was dirty and had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. The pool filter was also not working. We were informed they had replaced it and that the pool cleaners had been there 3 times that week. If that is true then they should find new cleaners because it was never clean.Another thing was we were given a number to reach out to regarding the beach chairs and umbrella. When I did, I received a rude response back. When we went down to the beach we found out from the worker that that person had quit at the beginning of summer (it is now the end of summer.) The host ended up telling me they had just found out. The worker said everyone was informed when it happened. Either way it just seems like lack of consistent communication which is expected in a rental.The last issue was with the garage fridge. We had planned to place all drinks in there and all food in the inside fridge. Upon arrival the fridge was warm but was plugged in. I messaged the host and they told me that you had to place items in the fridge and then it would cool down. I’ve never heard of that, but I tried and it didn’t work. I cannot imagine believing that and placing food inside and it spoiling.Overall, they communicated when needed and the property is nice, but it felt like there were never true solutions.

Hey, Rachel! Thanks so much for staying with us, and for the kind words and valuable feedback. I'm so sorry that you felt our response to the issues you encountered was not adequate. We do strive to provide a 5-star experience for all of our guests, and I'm sorry that you experienced several small issues which impacted your enjoyment of your stay. We did have our pool pump break down just prior to your stay, and had to have it replaced. In the meantime the pool cleaning team came several times in order to treat the water and make sure it remained sanitary and safe for swimming, even though the pump wasn't working properly, but without the pump working there was going to be some debris, etc, in the water. The new pump is now working properly and the pool is sparking clean! My apologies as well about the miscommunication regarding the new beach attendant - we have updated our messaging to reflect this new information so that there is no confusion for future guests! Re: the refrigerator, it is often the case that when a refrigerator in a vacation rental sits empty for some time, it will not be cold upon arrival and will get colder once a few items are placed inside. In this case, however, it sounds like there is an issue with this refrigerator - we'll be sure to get it checked out right away! Again, my apologies for the inconveniences you encountered. Please rest assured we have taken steps to make sure that no future guests encounter the same issues. Thanks for bringing them to our attention, and safe travels! Perfect Location

Our group was here on a bachelorette trip. We enjoyed the pool, location to everything, beach, etc. The property owners were quick to respond on any issues. The property was as described and in a beautiful setting. We were pleasantly surprised at how close to the beach and the ease of access it was. The rooms were nice and we had plenty of space of our party of 8!

We went for spring break and this house is absolutely amazing! Very clean, lots of beach extras, great communication with the property manager, and the community is wonderful. We will stay here again!!

GREAT Location!

Great location to beach and so close to all kinds of shopping. The private beach makes for a nice quiet time enjoying the ocean.The house is VERY clean and well taken care of. Great for small groups or families with kids as the bunk rooms are so fun!Kitchen fully stocked with everything you can imagine and lots of items to use in pool and beach left in garage! Overall it was a fantastic stay and very enjoyable!

Beach Getaway!

This property was perfect for our family vacation to Destin! Large enough for our family to all have their own space, very well appointed with everything we needed, best of all the outdoor space included a private pool, fire pit, bbq and access to the fishing pond.
