The home was very clean. The layout, pool, and proximity to the beach were perfect for our family. The view from the pool/deck was beautiful. We had a small issue with getting the correct code to get through the front gate but the host was very quick to respond and accommodating. We very much enjoyed our stay!

The house is absolutely perfect! Very clean, stocked with everything we needed, and the pool was the highlight of our afternoons. The host were very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely recommend and definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location

Our group was here on a bachelorette trip. We enjoyed the pool, location to everything, beach, etc. The property owners were quick to respond on any issues. The property was as described and in a beautiful setting. We were pleasantly surprised at how close to the beach and the ease of access it was. The rooms were nice and we had plenty of space of our party of 8!

Really enjoyed staying here. The walk to the beach was not far at all and my 2 year old had a blast walking over the bridge. Afternoons by the pool overlooking the lake was awesome as well!

A Great Location!!!

We enjoyed the great views of the lake and the easy walk to the beach. We took 2 mile walks each morning; then spent a couple of hours at beach each day. The home was comfortable, spacious and nicely laid out.

GREAT Location!

Great location to beach and so close to all kinds of shopping. The private beach makes for a nice quiet time enjoying the ocean.The house is VERY clean and well taken care of. Great for small groups or families with kids as the bunk rooms are so fun!Kitchen fully stocked with everything you can imagine and lots of items to use in pool and beach left in garage! Overall it was a fantastic stay and very enjoyable!

Beach Getaway!

This property was perfect for our family vacation to Destin! Large enough for our family to all have their own space, very well appointed with everything we needed, best of all the outdoor space included a private pool, fire pit, bbq and access to the fishing pond.

Good visit and stay in Destin

It was great to spend time on this property in Destin. The property was clean and convenient to local stores. We had a great time with family and friends during our stay. Except for a few minor snags (which were handled quickly via email from the owner) we had a wonderful stay! Super impressed with all the kitchen supplies that made cooking fun! Beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms! Also the beach toys and wagon/chairs, etc!

Great Location

We traveled w 10 of us and completely enjoyed our stay. The owners are very responsive. Unfortunately the grill propane was empty when we arrived, but the owners fixed it within an hour and it did not impact our plans. Well done! Thank you!

Destin trip

The house was dirty along with the outside furniture and the dishes. Several light switches didn’t work as well. The pool was nice and the distance to the beach was nice as well.

Perfect getaway

Absolutely love the property. Everything was clean and tidy. Property had essentials such as kitchen items and even beach item plus a wagon to haul everything in. Just bring your own spices and oil to cook. I cant wait to come back. The area was lovely and the kids walked everyday to the ice cream place around the corner.

Fun for everyone!

This house has everything you could want for a fun family vacation. Our two families, kids from 10-18 fit very comfortably and the property had something for everyone. So easy to walk to and from the private beach with use of the beach wagon, extra chairs, boogie boards and sand toys. The outdoor space is perfect for playing in the pool or relaxing, plenty of outdoor furniture options in the sun or shade. Fishing off the deck and ping pong kept kids entertained for hours. Gas grill and fire pit were a plus as well.

Issues

I have communicated with Johnny and was very disappointed in his comments. The deck in the picture looks nothing like it was. It needed a lot of repairs, boards and nails were sticking up. the fence that was attached to the wall was pulling away and seemed dangerous. The patio door off the pool into the kitchen area we could never get it to lock. We used a broom to keep us safe. The track on the patio door look like it had never been cleaned and was very difficult to open and close. The drapes in the dining room were very old and had holes in the sheers. There were a swarm of sand flees in the corner by the drapes in the dining room. The bathrooms had running toilets. No kleenex and only one roll of paper towels for an entire week. The picture on line showed bicycles in the garage, there were none just a ping pong table. The access to the beach was nice and we used that everyday. I felt for a 5 star VRBO it need a lot of work. Not a place I would stay again for the money. Over rated for the price and not even in season yet.
