Renovated LAKEFRONT home with AMAZING water views!!!!!!!

Our home has a family-friendly floor plan with open kitchen/dining/living spaces and vaulted ceilings and gas fireplace. The first floor also includes a laundry/mud room and half bath as well as master bedroom/bath/closet.

The 2nd floor has 2 nice-sized bedrooms with full shower bathroom.

You will find a relaxing and functional entertainment room in finished basement as well as 2 additional bedrooms (queen / twin bunk) as well as another full tub bathroom.

The best part: the outdoor living space. The views are amazing during all seasons and time of the year. There is a full outdoor bar that easily fits 8 as well as other seating and dining options. Your biggest decision is going to be hammock or couples swing! Either one is amazing for an afternoon nap or quiet time to read. Wait until you see the outdoor space lit up at night!!! There is an outdoor fire pit as well.

Submission of a valid ID (current drivers license) via this site or owners cell phone is required for verification of identity, that the person booking is the person staying as well as meeting age requirement of 25.

We do NOT accommodate bachelor / bachelorette parties.

Nice views, house issues

The house is nice, and the views are great. However, there were some issues that would have made our stay better. First, it was a very hot day and we weren't able to get into the house at 4:00 and John did not reply to many texts and phone calls until a couple of hours later. The house was hot at first but John did turn on the AC. Then it was very cold in the basement, chilly on the first floor, and fine on the second floor. We had hot water half of the time - otherwise it was just warm. We had to bring our own drinking water and it would have been nice to know that before we reserved the place.

waterfront home

Overall a nice home with good accommodations. Could have been cleaner both inside and out. Main living spaces good size. Had little to no hot water throughout our stay with low water pressure. This would occur from first water use of day. Had a frustrating conversation with host during stay. Accused us of having more than the allotted number of 10 people. We only had 8 in the home. He thought having 6 cars for 8 people was "absolutely unheard of." I guess when one has adult children coming from surrounding states each would have their own car. I wasn't aware we needed to carpool. Also, with their outdoor cameras we would have thought he could have counted the people before accusing us. Overall enjoyed our stay and location was very convenient.

Don’t drink the water

Not the cleanest place to stay. Mold under the couch in the basement. Someone blew their nose on the painting in the Master bedroom. Cob webs within reach of a broom. But the biggest disappointment was the “ act like your in Mexico sign. Don’t drink the water. Nothing wrong with the water except they have to pay for it to be trucked in. No disclosure about that . Also the outside cameras were not disclosed.

Very nice house

Place was a very nice place ,very spacious and clean on Sandusky bay In the VROB picture there was a dock when we got there with our paddle boards and kayaks, no dock was in. Owner said he did not put dock this year. I think that something that should’ve been said to us I did even ask if I could have a boat there and he said yes, but there would be no way we could have done that with no dock false advertisement Also, the hot water in the place was not great. We had 10 people and only one shower was lukewarm the whole time. Also not enough towels for 10 people

Family vacation

The house was a great size for 6 adults and an infant and 3 year old. Plenty of space and beautiful view. Owner responded to my questions within 24 hours. Almost all items you need are available - but need to bring your own toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, and bath soap. There was not a hammock outdoors but a beautiful bar, sitting area and swing.

Outstanding Property & Host

Great location with private access to lake fishing and unbelievable water views in the morning and evenings. Spacious home with great entertainment areas inside and out. Host was very courteous and checked in before and during the stay to ensure we had everything we needed for a great trip. Will definitely refer others and look forward to staying again!

A Great Thanksgiving in Port Clinton OH

The house was fantastic - real nice layout, great location, amazing view (especially when the sunset and rose), clean, and a great outdoor setup. Overall it was the perfect setting to enjoy time with our family during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Beautiful Views

We loved the outdoor space and enjoyed sitting and looking at the views of Sandusky bay. Nice quiet location and the house layout is perfect for groups.

Wonderful stay!

Overall the property was wonderful with a beautiful view of the lake. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need which was incredible. Water pressure was a struggle and it seemed only one of the bathroom showers had decent water pressure. We noticed many dead bugs and dust/dirt throughout the house which was a bit surprising considering it had been cleaned prior to our arrival. For young children, the backyard has a steep drop-off to rocks/water so keep that in mind.
