We had a great stay at this home. It is clean, comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the lake from their large outside deck. We had a brief issue with the thermostat when we arrived (mostly user error), but we received an immediate response when we sent a message.

A disappointment caused primarily by poor housekeeping and maintenance. Portions of the kitchen/dining area ceiling were covered with spiders and webs. Master shower handle was loose or broken, second floor shower drain backed up. Upon arrival we discovered the broken electronic key system which the home rep knew of but did not warn us about. Suggestion: fix it today. Or warn your next customer. We figured out the key, but the confusion was stressful and house rep's perceived arrogance upon followup through text message was not appreciated. Also found dirty dishes in dishwasher with no dishcleaning soap.

Home was more beautiful than the photos. Location was perfect for us in a quiet residential area but with easy access to everything. Kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable and the deck was huge. The lake views were amazing.

Amazing location on the lake. House is beautiful and very comfortable. We had no issues and enjoyed our stay. The upstairs was a little hot in the 90 degree weather but all the rooms had fans.

Roomy and relaxing, but it’s really about the views!

We loved the room sizes and layout of this house. Nearly all of the rooms had windows overlooking the lake, which was directly behind the house. The lake there was shallow and marked boat-free for safe swimming. The sunset view was spectacular.Adjustable beds in the largest bedrooms were extremely comfortable. Rarely can I say this, but I had no problems sleeping on that bed. My teenage girls were in the room with the twin beds, which they said were a little less comfortable; that room was also the only one that had a curtain for a door. It was right next to the kitchen, which is where we spent our evenings, and they really wished there was a door to keep our noise out.Regarding utilities, the water pressure and temperature was fine on both levels. The A/C had a very hard time keeping up, registering at 78 degrees around the clock for 4 days… but to be fair, temperatures outside were in the mud-to upper 90s (triple-digit feels, with the humidity), so any structure with such wide open spaces would have found it difficult. Box or oscillating fans were available for each of the bedrooms, which helped a lot.Overall, we were very pleased with the property, and would love to stay there again sometime in the future.

Great vacation home

We had a wonderful long weekend! This is the second year we have come up to Lake Erie and stayed in this beautiful lake home. The house is perfect and has everything you would need. We played several of the board games and cards they had on hand. Our kids loved the big Jenga game. The view from the deck is our favorite. Proximity to the ferries, restaurants, stores makes everything so convenient. The new grill was perfect, we were able to grill the fish we caught on the lake. Thank you form sharing your amazing home.

Great Setting, Roomy Comfortable House

The house is very close to the lake/ beautiful sunsets and all around Great Lake views. Large deck with ample seating for large groups. The water is shallow for at least a quarter of a mile out- ideal for younger children's water play. Beds are very comfy and bathrooms are updated and very clean. If you are staying for several days you may want to bring all the basics you need to prepare food as well as baggies, tin foil, paper towels, etc. The fridge is immaculate, but empty. There are, however, several large grocery stores nearby. We had a great time on the lake and the house is one of the better rentals we have stayed in. Lots of room to spread out, but you'll most likely spend most of your time in the large kitchen and on the huge deck. Matt also allowed us to stay an extra day and we were grateful as it turned out to be the nicest day of our stay.

June 2024 Review

The property was wonderful. Home, neighborhood, view and location all accurately reflected the ad. We loved the property and had a great time. A couple of items: Only located 1 trash bag. Seemed odd that this was the case. We bought 15 and left them behind. The gas grill is a mess. I would update the item as it is not a fair reflection of the property at all. The deck, lake, and view all push people outside. At the daily rental price this should be in better condition. Upstairs corner bedroom window will open but not shut. mini family reunion

Our family group attended a wedding in nearby Catawba Island and wanted to have more togetherness than hotel rooms provide. This property had ample living/ dining/ kitchen space for our group of 8 to gather. With the four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, we also had our own spaces and didn't have to wait on line to use the bathroom. The house is RIGHT on the lake, which is ideal for warmer weather! It also has many cute nautical decorative touches. When we had a question, our email was responded to promptly.

Lovely Lakefront View

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Port Clinton. The house is *directly* on the water. When you are sleeping in the ground floor primary bedroom, it almost feels like you are on a houseboat the water is so close. The deck overlooking the water is just lovely - we found ourselves relaxing out there the most. The home is well appointed and we were super impressed with the adjustable beds! Just little extra comfort items that made the trip all the more enjoyable. Highly recommend! And bring your binoculars if you enjoy birdwatching - the cormorants, swans, and other lake fowl really put on a show!
