Spend your days discovering the area, or set out to explore Tulum Jaguar Park (Parque del Jaguar). This retreat offers a great spot for solo travelers, couples, and friends alike.

Inside, a modern and well-appointed kitchen with modern, stainless steel appliances awaits. The adjoining dining table seats four. Kick your feet up and relax in the inviting living area, especially after a fun day getting to know downtown or swimming in the community heated pool. The living area has been beautifully appointed with comfortable furniture, a TV, and plenty of chic decor. From the living area, you will have direct access to a private balcony furnished with two chairs. This apartment also features a stackable washer/dryer, a bedroom with a TV, and a full bathroom with a standalone shower.

Great!

This was our first time using VRBO to rent in PDC and everything was great. The unit was exactly as described and pictured. The condo is in a perfect location with Walmart one short block away and 5th ave/ the beach / a short walking distance. We arrived before the check in and the concierge watched our bags while we went to get something to eat and shop for our supplies. Check in instructions were all good. The condo is modern and very nice. The a/c worked well ( we were thoughtful and turned it off when we weren't there) The bed comfortable. Shower was great. The roof top pool was really nice to come home to. The balcony was large and we enjoyed morning coffee and bird watching in the tree across the street. The notice about the karaoke bar across the street was true. We slept through it for the most part. But at 3 am there were some really loud terrible singers that woke us up. One night their power was out yahoo. Oddly the music wasn't loud just the awful drunk singers were on loud speakers. some points to the owner/rental agent. The bathroom door to the bedroom didn't have a latch. There was only 1 cereal bowl - time to pick up a few more. And a bonus would have been folding beach chairs available. There is a beach cooler which was nice. The safe didn't work. We contacted the rental company. They were good with responding but the issue was never resolved, so we stopped the msging to enjoy our vacay. We really liked our stay and would return.

Maintenance issues

The condo itself is nice with a great balcony. However, I have to relate the experience my husband and I had while staying here for 11 days in October. On our second day the safe would not open. We had all of our money and passports in there. We messaged the host right away. We didn’t receive a response, so we called and explained the issue. We were told that we would get a call back in 30 minutes. One hour went by with no call so we called back. We were told that it was too late to send someone because the office closed at 6pm. Even though we explained that we had called earlier with no response. We had no choice but to wait until the next day. Finally the next day someone came and he was unable to get the safe open. He said he would return within 30 minutes with a key. Over 1 hour went by and he did not return. So we called the office and were told that he couldn’t find the key. Finally he returned with another man and after some time they got the safe open. We were without our money and passports for almost 2 days. We explained all of this to Vacasa company and we requested a refund for those two days lost out of our vacation. Which we thought was a reasonable ask. They refused and only wanted to give us $46.97. We also had a transformer blow and didn’t have hot water for 1 day. But because it happened near the end of our trip and because of already experiencing the back and forth with the issue of the safe not opening, we decided not to say anything g about it. So it’s a

Beautiful and centric apartment

It was all we needed for our stay. Everything is at a walking distance. Very secure building with a nice swimming pool at the rooftop. If you have difficulty sleeping or are picky about having complete silence to be able to fall asleep, this definitely is not the place for you. youBut if

Beautiful apartment but awful service

The apartment itself is nice and the rooftop pool is a great option when you need a beach break. Comments on the night club are 100% right…. It’s LOUD until 3am. My biggest issue here is that we asked for early check in and were told they don’t offer it plus they would not hold our luggage? We had 4 hours as check in is at 4pm. Vacasa customer service could care less about the 4 hours. Additionally, we had a ups package arriving and they also said I had to be checked in for them to receive it as there’s no one available? There’s people at the front desk 24/7 and mailboxes inside… The customer service was pretty disappointing. When you are on vacation, the last thing you want is careless people that won’t even try. There’s no local contact now so Vacasa is doing all the communication. I feel bad for the owner! Definitely do not recommend due to location and service

Good Service

This condo is managed straight from Vacasa so customer support was great. As stated in previous reviews there is a karaoke bar next door which is noisy at night, if you are used to living in a city this shouldn't be too much of an issue. The location was perfect.

Utilitarian

Perfect for my needs. The balcony was nice for waking up w/coffee and taking it all in. **read all the details about the property in the listing** I did not have to communicate with the property manager because they are so thorough in providing instructions in the listing. The club next door wasn't as loud as I anticipated but I could see how that might change peak season. Anyway, no concerns. Nice spot to feel at home just outside the busy tourist spots. Walmart close by.

Beautiful Condo

Clean, spaceous and gorgeous condo in the center of everything in Playa Del Carmen. Kitchen is big and fully equipped so we could cook meals at home. The bed is SOOOO comfy, I slept like a baby. Shower water pressure is AWESOME. Rooftop has an amazing view on the city and ocean. Pool is beautiful and big. Cons : - Livingroom TV and washing mashine did not work while we were there as they were waiting for parts. It wasn't a big deal since we were only there 7 days. We used the bedroom TV. - There is a karaoke/nightclub just across the street so A LOT of noise from 6pm to 3am on most days. We got lucky though, it seemed closed on 3 days straight during the week (or there wasn't any clients) so it was peaceful!!! 🤩

Great condo off the beaten path

The rooms were clean and spacious. The building is relatively new so the amenities are awesome. The rooftop pool we the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach. The building is a short walk to the popular tourist areas and near the grocery. There are bars and restaurants in the immediate area too.

Nice Big Condo

The condo was great as was the location to get around town. It has all the amenities needed for long stay like me for 10 days. Also If you like staying up and partying till 2:00 am with the open area karaoke bar next door this will work for you. This particular condo is not for you if like going to sleep before 2:00 am.
