Newly Renovated Cabin with Stunning View

A newly renovated cabin that is minutes from Franklin and easy to reach, the real showstopper here is the gorgeous, year-round mountain view! Have dinner on the covered deck, cozy up around the fire pit, or just relax in the living room as you look out on the stunning landscape. The cabin is clean and tidy with fun, fresh decor. Central heat/AC, a gas fireplace, gas stove, gas grill, covered deck, cable tv, cornhole and outdoor firepit are among the amenities.

The cabin was recently renovated and almost all the furnishings are new. Gas stove, fireplace, and grill means a hassle-free experience you get to enjoy from the word "go." The decor is minimal but fun- vintage concert posters and architectural salvage combine to create a perfect backdrop to make all your cabincore dreams a reality.

The real star of the show, however, is the spacious covered deck with stunning year-round views of the picturesque Elijay community. Picture lowing cattle on the hillside, a bubbling creek, curvy mountain roads, and morning mist rising off the mountains. In the evening, enjoy the firepit with those same stunning views and strategic landscaping for additional privacy.

We now have Starlink internet. The cabin does have a cellular booster that works with major carriers. Cable, and HBO are included. Unplug and unwind!

It was amazing. The kitchen was beautiful as well. I think the owner should showcase this part of the house too. Glass coffee table and end tables was my least favorite and wish the living room tv was mounted higher but the view was amazing and so many amenities. My favorite of all my cabin stays. Home away from home.

This cabin is in a good location to towns that we visited. The cabin was clean but could use some sprucing up. Loved the cozy fireplace. The mattress in the master bedroom feels like it needs replacing. Branches need to be trimmed around the steps. The screen on the door needs replacing. It would be really nice if there was a washer and dryer. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The owner was quick to respond with any needs.

The cabin was decorated nicely and was clean and comfortable.It had plenty of paper products, bath towels, etc.We loved the mountain and quiet country atmosphere.The hall bath needs better lighting and it would have been nice to have been able to watch a football game on Saturday, but there was no access.For the price, this was a great value! We enjoyed our stay and recommend this property!

Such a great location! 3 minutes from the main highway but felt miles away. Easy access and that view was stunning. The location was a great launching point to explore so many hikes and waterfalls.This was a very clean, well-equipped modern cabin. Fast wifi for streaming and calls. Access to laundry would be icing on the cake especially for longer stays but there is a laundromat close by.

Wonderful!

Nicely renovated and a great view without being ridiculously far out of town. Driveway was fine with my truck but I don't know that our car would've made it when wet. Definately recommend, manager was great with communication!

Anniversary Trip

We had the best time in this little cabin/home ! The view from the back porch was amazing ! We didn't stay inside much because this location is PERFECT for exploring! We loved downtown Franklin , explored Highlands , made a short hour trip south to Helen Georgia for Oktoberfest , went to Cherokee and Bryson .... If you are looking for a perfect getaway with many options this place was the best !

Short honeymoon stay

The house is absolutely beautiful. Every room was neat and clean. Linens, kitchen appliances and utensils easily accessible and clean. The view is gorgeous. The property manager responded to any concerns or questions within minutes. Access to gas stations, restaurants and shopping centers close by. My husband and I had a wonderful time and can’t wait to visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at 81 Perks Rd. The cabin fit our needs to a tee!!! It was very clean and quite comfortable. The view of the mountains was amazing! The proximity to several towns was great for our small excursions. Overall, we give it a 10/10 and hope to return sometimes soon!!!

Quiet Long Weekend Getaway

We liked the location and view. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning and evening listening to the birds. It was very peaceful. We also enjoyed the town of Franklin and all the shops we visited there. Our cell service piggybacks on AT&T and we did not have a phone signal at the house. There was a spot where we could pick up text messages, though.

Sabbatical

Slight problem accessing house due to faulty lockbox but owner immediately responded. The view from the deck is fabulous. When it was cold, easily enjoyed through the sliding deck door. The house was as advertised; there were no surprises. What was nice was the very easy to use gas heater fireplace. Also, a few mornings it got done to freezing and I was surprised how quickly the standard heat warmed up the house. The access to the property was easy. The house is located within an hour of many recreational activities. I am a cyclist and hiker. This is a great location for that. The the property is very rural, it’s within minutes of essential shopping, e.g., Walmart. This was a mini-sabbatical for me. Great place to read the Bible, pray and have uninterrupted solitude.

Mountain countryside escape

This property isn't secluded, yet is in a very quiet farm neighborhood. Cows roaming across the street and saw deer and turkeys browsing the fields. Great location for drives to nearby towns and outdoor activities in the area. Wonderful views off the front porch to start and end the day. Make note that small trees being fully leaves out in summer would probably block that view a bit... excellent communication with the owner. Clean property was very cozy. Will definitely consider renting here again!

A Gem in North Carolina

We loved the cabin and view is to die for. The hummingbirds were an added attraction. The cabin is outside of Franklin but just a short drive in a very quite peacful area. Good location for day trips to Highlands, Cherokee and Cashiers. We would highly recommend the cabin and hope to go back soon.

I love renovation project and my wife loves designing and decorating. We bought the house because of the stunning view and did a complete rehab.
