The best location on South Maui! Pacific Shores is all about convenience and location. Who needs a car when you are across the street from favorite Charley Young Beach, 1 block from popular surf spot ''The Cove'' and half a mile from many restaurants, shops, and boutiques?

Pacific Shores B-118 is ideal for a family or couples traveling together. Enjoy the ease of entry with no stairs to this first-floor condo. The home features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The primary bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a tub/shower combo and Smart TV for movie nights cozied up in bed. Guest room has a full bathroom just steps from entry that has a walk-in shower. Both bedrooms offer queen-size beds and ceiling fans. There is no AC in either bedroom, but this condo does not get direct sun and faces North to take advantage of the famous Maui Trade Winds.

The open living area has a dining area for four and two additional seats at the breakfast bar. Bonus seating on the lanai for 2 is an ideal spot to enjoy your morning coffee. If you are up early enough, you may even catch a glimpse of the sun rising over Haleakala. Kitchen is fully equipped for the home chef to whip up meals at home including stainless appliances, cookware, dishes, and utensils.

A sleeper sofa allows for a great spot to put the kiddos and allows for up to 6 guests total in this condo. Smart TV, ceiling fan, washer and dryer, and window AC unit add to the comforts offered when staying at this home. Parking for up to 2 cars included complimentary.

Pacific Shores offers a large, heated pool, relaxing hot tub, and gas grills for your enjoyment.

Find fruit trees on the property seasonally ripe for the picking including mango, banana, lilikoi, starfruit, and calamansi.

Located in the heart of South Kihei, Pacific Shores is central to the best activities South Maui has to offer. Just a quick stroll to nearby shopping, popular restaurants, and world-famous beaches. Take advantage of some of the best snorkeling, learn to surf, or enjoy the wide variety of premier golf courses the island has to offer. Directly across the street from the local favorite Charley Young Beach. You'll have everything Maui is known for just a moment away.

While we strive to keep all photos up to date, there may be new and updated pieces of furniture or decor that are different than in the original pictures. The functionality, available seating, and sleeping space will remain the same or may improve.

Great Stay

My husband and I were lucky enough to find this great spot for our extended vacation. The condo had all things we could need for the inside as well as for the beach! Can’t wait to return!

Perfect place!

We loved our stay! The cooler, chairs, towels, and umbrella made our beach days so much better!! The place is cute, and has everything you need! The location is perfect, and we loved the beach right across the street. Would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay

This condo is in great location, well stocked kitchen and lots of beach essentials. Check-in/ check-out process was easy. It was our first VRBO experience and we are very pleased.

getting in and communicating was pretty easy and quick answers to questions during our stay. Nice to have wifi. close to beach, food and entertainment. would stay here again!

Convenient Accommodating stay

We had a great family stay at the Pacific Shores. Check in and out were easy and contactless. The condo had everything we needed for our family with kiddos to include; all kitchen ware, dishwasher, washer/dryer, snorkel gear including flippers, beach towels chairs & toys, plenty of linens/towels. We would absolutely stay there again! Thankyou

No what was promised

Grand daughter’s pillow had black mold ( I have pictures), pool was closed, no access to the outdoor grill. Smoke detector went off every time we cooked. Just a place to sleep, which was a problem because of the weather.

( although very little space for unrefrigerated food, but we made it work ) Had plenty of beach equipment to use. ( umbrella, towels, chairs, cooler, snorkeling, and sand toys) Did come across a couple of unwanted critters but that is all. Honestly after staying in Oahu for the previous 3 months and paying a tad bit less with much nicer accommodations, I was expecting more. be far, I did find maui overall much more pricier then Oahu.

Clean rental near beach

The beach is a short walk away (there are buildings, a street and a few rows of houses between the condo and the beach). The pool area would be suitable for families. It was easy to rent in terms of logistics, communications and instructions. It was well stocked (kitchen, beach gear). One of the bedrooms is immediately adjacent to the parking lot, which generated some noise throughout the day and night. Otherwise it was quiet.

The owners had nothing to do with the pool however, they did go out of their way to make things better for us. The house was clean and well maintained. The location was excellent!! We took a very short walk to Charley Young and the Kamaole beaches daily. Saw lots of turtles. Appreciated the use of supplied beach chairs, towels, fins... Only slight problem we had was on arrival we contacted the management company to see if there was a possiblity to ck in early. Said yes, just waiting for inspection, would let us know. No call and they didn't answer phones. We would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.

Great place near beach

Loved the condo, the location, the property. Ground floor which was great for an older person that isn't great with stairs. It was clean and just as described. There was plenty of beach toys and gear available so we didn't have to worry about bringing or buying much for the beach. The only complaint for the house was there wasn't a broom that we could find, and with all the sand we tracked, it would have been nice to sweep up while we were there. But that was just a small thing that didn't really effect our time there. The only other complaint we had was with the pool. The pool rules were a bit strict in our opinion, no real playing allowed (jumping, "rowdy" pool games, etc) and not even allowing the use of snorkel gear. This was a disappointment to our 9yr old, who wanted to test the gear out before going into the ocean. Even with that said, it was a good home base while we were visiting. We would stay here again.

Unfortunately, the condo we rented was extremely dirty when we arrived and there was a lot of deferred maintenance inside the condo that had not been addressed. We found food left on the chairs, floors, and even found empty beer cans and food under the beds when trying to figure out where the smells were coming from. We had to put our stuff in the condo and head straight out to the store to purchase cleaning products as there were not any cleaning products in the condo. We then spent the rest of the entire afternoon/night cleaning the entire condo and washing all of the bedding (yes, we found hairs in the sheets and on the bed spread). I did inform Expedia, VRBO and CBIP Vacations LLC about the conditions of the condo and Expedia and VRBO both told me to work directly with CBIP Vacations LLC. Additionally, when we booked this condo, it stated it had a pool that was operational and when we arrived, we found out that the entire pool area was under construction and would not be operational until 2024. I did inform CBIP Vacations about all of the deferred maintenance inside the condo and the state of the condo when we arrived. CBIP did offer to move us to another condo but of course it would cost us more money and we had just spent hours upon hours cleaning B118. I sure hope the owners of this condo were informed of everything I pointed out and I did provide photos to CBIP. This condo definitely was the lowlight of our two weeks on Maui and I would not recommend this condo.

Fabulous Location Some issues

Our first reservation was cancelled, so we were able to book this unit at relatively short notice. The good things are it is in a great location and we could walk to many places. When we came in we noticed how clean it was and the little goodies they had left for us. It was great to have two nicely done bathrooms for 4 adults and 2 children. The not so good: as mentioned by others, the view on the lanai is a parking lot. Thicker shrubs might make it more enjoyable to sit out there but we did not bother to sit there. The unit is dark, so better lighting in main areas. As mentioned in another review, there is absolutely no cupboard space to put your dry goods. The fridge is a menace so take care. The freezer handle sticks out so when you lean in the fridge, two adults hit their heads, and I hit my shoulder as I tried to duck my head. I cut and bruised my shoulder. The condo had next to nothing for the beach. This was so very disappointing. No boogie boards, no snorkel gear, and worst of all, no umbrella. We had to rent an umbrella. We tried to contact Dave for two days, no answer. This is my 7th trip to Maui and we have never had the "cupboard bare". There were beach chairs and a bag of small sand toys.The hot tub is completely shut down. Lastly, we used the sofa bed and I would suggest a better mattress. It is very springy and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this unit and would not book it again, but as I said, it was a last minute booking for me.

If you are one to sit on the lanai and hoping to have a great view, this is not your spot. If you are one to walk down to the beach for your view/outside time, this is perfect. Well stocked in the kitchen for the most part, but no pots/ pans that I’d classify as “medium”. Knife set is due for a refresh, but I’m used to that in most condos.Well stocked as far as snorkels and beach chairs as well. For my needs, this was perfect.

An hour after arrival there was loud construction going on. When I called management they were told that there was nothing scheduled. One of the people In our party found out where the sound was coming from and the people fixing a leak two floors above us were very rude. A board member was also not very happy about it. Also the pool code on our arrival instructions was not correct. Management responded right away and figured it out. Overall very good place to stay I would’ve given a five if not for these minor things.

Comfy and clean

This condo is very well equipped, but there is not much of a view. We still enjoyed coffee on the tiny lanai and loved the proximity to restaurants and beaches.

Wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay here in Kihei! Between some excursions in Lahaina, Road to Hana, and another north in Maui we felt it was centrally located and not a long drive to get places. Grateful the property had snorkeling equipment so we didn't have to rent. It was also nice that we could contact the management to use some boogie boards. I was also grateful there was a washer and dryer because our things weren't drying well on their own and it was nice to do some wash during and not come home to days of laundry. Nice to have a/c to cool off too!

Walking distance to a big grocery store that has everything one would need.We felt like we are at home! The only downside for Maui is that it is very expensive - Hawaii is the land of pineapple and it is $1.49 a pound. Back home in Chicago we pay $1.50 per pineapple.
