Run don’t walk away from this rental
When my family and I arrived at our rental, which is listed as, “Beautiful Antique walk to Quissett Harbor & Shining Sea Bike Path,” what we found was not, “a charming antique, perfect for relaxation & gatherings of friends,” but a broken down house that is in disrepair and can only be described as ramshackle. It’s unethical for the owner to charge $1,000 a night for this property, which is at best worthy of half this price.
The backyard, which in the ad for the house was described as “a garden” with a “play area” and “BBQ”, is decrepit, with a fence that looked like it had fallen down a decade or more ago.
