Relax on our spacious porch with views of Sherman's Creek and Pisgah Ridge. Watch the hummingbirds during the warmer months and the wild turkeys in spring and fall. Keep an eye out for the bald eagles who are almost always overhead. Listen for the red-tailed hawks. Wander in our woods or on beautiful local trails. White-tailed deer visit early and late. Or drive to Hershey Park, nationally recognized Carlisle Car Shows, Harrisburg or Gettysburg attractions.

Cozy weekend getaway

Me and my Wife had a great time, the house was very clean and private! Reminded us of when we travel to the smokey mountains with the morning fog burning off against the mountain as the sunrises! Awesome stay and very easy to communicate with!

Peaceful, Private and Pretty

We enjoyed our time at Lynne's home. It was very clean and the porch provided much needed rest and relaxation. It is located in a private peaceful location. Lynne is great with communication!

A charming escape

Lynne has an incredible attention to detail that made the entire stay that much more beautiful and memorable. We loved the fire pit and porch swing. Whether we were listening to the rain on the roof or looking up at the stars, that porch was perfect. We loved this stay!

Sort of like coming home

We checked in for our second stay and it all felt so familiar, like coming home, only better, especially in the mornings. I love sitting on that big porch, coffee in hand, watching the world wake up. We spend our days tooling around the area, discovering things to do and come home to a comfy bed to recharge in.The place is so quiet and surrounded by such beauty! This year the leaf color was gorgeous and we were visited by a porcupine! Inside and out it’s full of little surprises. Love it, and love our host as well. Thanks Lynne! Refreshingly peaceful, beautiful, and serene!

My wife and I stayed for a couple of days and it was exactly the peace and relaxation that we needed. Spacious, clean, and lovely place located in a beautiful pasture not too far from a creek. Morning walks down the road were so enjoyable and we checked out some local parks, towns, and wineries that were just a short drive away. Very highly recommend for the nature lover/solitude seeker!

Peaceful weekend

This was a quiet little house in the middle of a field. The covered porch looks out towards a mountain with a creek (can’t see the creek). We was some deer, bald eagle and some other wild life. Inside was charming. My wife spent most of the time on the porch reading. About 15 min from several great little restaurants and 30 min from Carlisle for bigger town amenities.
