Creek cottage on Conodoguinet Creek a class 1 stream on the International Whitewater Rating system with private access for kayaks, tubes and canoe - bring your own or rent from us. Convenient to everything but private. Hershey and Carlisle are an easy 20 minute drive. House is located on creek with a septic system so we use environmental safe products and ask guests to conserve water while showering. We have organic apple, peach and pears on the property for guests to enjoy in season. We allow pets with additional fee. The house sits on a Good Hope Road which is a busy route connecting Carlisle Pike and 81. The house is 5 minutes to grocery, drug store, movie theatre, and all major food choices. Creek living with all amenities so convenient does mean you will hear cars passing by when outside. We don’t allow parties and ask that when outside to respect neighbors. Fire pit is available and you can bring your own wood. Fishing is permitted in creek under PA Game and Fish guidelines. Canoe, kayaks and tubes available to rent. For guests staying 5 days they are free to use once liability waiver is signed. The access for pulling trailers is limited to small trailers entering from the carlisle pike road. A great place for us to stay while going to a basketball tournament at Messiah University. The kitchen was well stocked for meal making. The house was very comfortable.My only reservation for anyone with mobility issues were the stairs at the entrance, rather steep and narrow. Also, the house is on a busy street and is bordered by the creek and so if you bring kids you will need to be watchful.

Golf Weekend

My adult sons and a neighborhood friend of theirs stayed with me here. We golfed at Armitage, only 5 minutes away. And also at Royal Manchester within 30 minutes. Enjoyed dining nearby at Pizza Boy, Dukes Riverside and the Watershed Pub. One of my sons caught a big bass in the creek behind the house. Perfect weekend.

Great place

The home was so cute, clean and conveniently located. It was well stocked and the owners thought of everything to make it a home away from home. The driveway was a little challenging but it was a great place. Highly recommend!

Great place to be after a trade show.

We exhibit in the GAOS trade show. This place was perfect to come back to, stretch out, and relax. We are foodies and the kitchen was pretty well stocked. A few more pots/pans/baking dishes would be nice but not necessary to cook. Then furniture was comfortable and well kept. The bedding was plush and very nice. Lots of room and a great experience. Lynne was responsive to all communication and even had someone to scrape and salt the drive after some snow fall. Top shelf all the way.

This is our third Air Bnb and we love sharing the opportunity with our guests to visit and enjoy the area. WE are super host rated and strive to provide excellent service. We live very close and are able to support if needed. You will have the entire house and property to enjoy.

This property was an original creek home from the 60's that was recently renovated! The house is cozy and comfortable but retains its cottage feel. The property has a wonderful 120 foot creek access and the porch offers a wonderful view of the creek and sunset. Waterfowl and birds love the property. We have bird houses and fruit trees on property and our guests are welcome to grab a apple, peach or pear in season! We plan to add raspberries and blue berries in the spring!

Creek front access to launch canoe, kayak or tube. Fishing is also a favorite of the area. The house is 3-5 minutes to anything you will need! The property is on the Conodoguinet Creek which is a Class 1 stream on the International Rating System. A class 1 stream is characterized by easy moving water with a few riffles and small waves suitable for a beginner. But you must be aware of the level of the creek. The house is raised above the flood level and the water has not reached the parking area in over 20 years.
