This home worked great for our family of 10. The room configurations were perfect and we could not have enjoyed the pool and hot tub any more. They were AMAZING!

Pool and hot tub were nice. Plenty of room to relax. Kitchen could use a little TLC. Coffee pot wasn’t clean and had old grounds in it. Ended up going to grab everyone coffees all weekend. Overall the stay was enjoyable, just minor things here and there.

The home looks exactly as pictured, walkable neighborhood with local shops and eateries nearby. It was really cold during our January trip so we enjoyed the comfort of the layout; having board games, pool table and ping pong was cool. Our big bonus was having two days with 80 degree weather and the Swimming pool was the best! Highly recommend.

Had a great time, the pool and spa are a hit! felt at home and the host was very professional. This house is close to the freeway and this area is close to a major shopping area with target, Walmart, Sam’s and plenty of food. We took had a few hikes at Cowles Mountains and made a business trip exciting! Will book again for sure.

Overall we enjoyed our experience. The house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with a separate pool house with 1 king,1 bunk bed and 1 bathroom as well as a garage with laundry and a pool table.The pool is 5 stars with a great hot tub. The pool guy stopped by to help us heat properly.The house needs some maintenance - bathroom door did not shut, dishwasher was falling out of the cabinetry, broken shelving/drawers in the main fridge, chipped flatware, rust / mold in 2/3 of bathrooms, etc. None of which were unusable, just need to be tended to.Check-in and check-out were easy.

Great home after our cruise! This home is minutes from the Port of San Diego. We were exhausted from our cruise and settled in nicely. This house had a long driveway with plenty of parking and plenty of Space. Everything we needed at a great price. The hot tub and pool were therapeutic and I will book again soon.

Do NOT rent this property. We booked it for Nov 25–30, 2025 for Thanksgiving and my son’s birthday, but the home was filthy the moment we arrived. What should have been a special week quickly turned into a nightmare. We found hair balls on the floors, dirty rugs, dirt behind the toilet, an unstable squeaky bed, a broken dining chair, unswept floors, mismatched utensils, filthy oven and microwave, mud in the kids’ rug, and an unsanitary kids’ bathroom. The casita was also dirty. Microwave placed on top of a range oven. Bathroom and shower curtain filthy. The entire house gave the impression that someone had just stayed there and only the beds were quickly made.When we sent photos, the host made excuses and only apologized for the broken chair. She told us we could get a refund only if we left immediately, even though our kids were sleeping. We left within the hour as instructed then she refused the refund once we contacted VRBO. (stayed10 hrs).VRBO was no help and told us to return to the home, even though the host forced us out. We lost money plus last-minute lodging costs.This property is misleading, dirty, and poorly managed. Please avoid this listing. We have photos and messages to prove everything. A legal claim is in progress.
Focus this, there are mud and tissue paper.
Filthy oven, inside and out. Can' use it bc its disgusting!

The pool and jacuzzi was the star of the property. This property layout is very expansive and offers a large compound for all family and friends to enjoy. There is a space for everyone to relax and unwind. It was a nice touch they had multiple table games in the garage. The kitchen is a chef's dream, with multiple burners I was excited to cook my family a meal. Thank you. Will book again.

Great place to stay. Host was polite and attentive and easy to work with. The home is very clean and organized. It was easy to work swimming pool and spa heat and the pool was amazing will return in the future.

Will stay again. The home was very nice with a newer salt water pool and hot spa. We were minutes to the freeway and main attractions as the Zoo, Sea world and San Diego Harbor. Great location!

Great stay!

Our family visited San Diego area and had a great stay. Photos and descriptions were spot on. Communication was easy and fast with property owner. We hope to stay again on our next trip to the area.

Suboptimal Stay: Poor Maintenance & Accusatory Host CommunicationI chose this property for my family while coming into town for my daughter’s graduation. While we made the best of it, the home was poorly maintained and the listing was inaccurate. No house manual was provided physical or electronic. Inaccuracy - Advertised as 5 bedrooms, the main house has 3 and the casita has 1. Bunk beds in the casita kitchenette do not constitute a 5th bedroom. Cleanliness and Condition - Conditions were suboptimal; Kitchen dishwasher and sink emitted foul odors, fridge shelves were cracked in main house. Dining furniture was unstable and unsafe. Master bedroom bathroom door did not close, and the water was turned off to the toilet, while the main bathroom hallway door stuck and we had to rescue the kids a couple of times. On night 1, a twin bed collapsed as the guest went to lie down, we called and sent pictures to the host everything was fine until post departure where she tried to say we broke it. Outdoor furniture was torn; all tables were completely dirty and not usable. After checkout, the host billed us for gas overage per policy. Upon further no such policy was posted nor we were informed of such policy, and no proof was provided to us. The chat communication from the host was highly accusatory. I cannot recommend this property as a nice place to stay and did not meet our expectations.

Let me begin by stating that you made mention of none of this during your stay, and you did not check in your family. Did you broke many house rules and despite that I still accommodate your family, you all enjoyed yourself to the point of leaving the heater onto the pool the entire time you were there and showed complete. Disregard for the House. You removed the swimming pool vacuum Broke a bed and not to mention left a place in complete disarray having party after party. I am very much so disappointed with the way that you left the property and I know for a fact family enjoyed themselves if the property was as suboptimal as you state you would’ve not stayed and the fifth bedroom is a bonus room as stated on the VRBO listing it is a very large house and expensive, and I am sure that you and Georgia yourself to the point of using every amenity that we had despite your behavior while you were there, we do not cancel your booking, and we continued the process of allowing you to stay. I would appreciate if you would use nothing but honesty in your posting And be assured that I have also contacted VRBO
