Cute cottage

The cottage was great. There was a lovely little welcome basket with Door County coffee and makings for s'mores (too cold & rainy for the fire pit). Since we came with our yellow lab, the entrance was a "mud room" which worked as a place to feed her and drop our shoes, her leash, etc. The bathroom is very small and could use a fan, but the place is a cottage, so we were not expecting anything huge. Other than that, the bed was a comfy king size and the rest of the place was veery comfortable...and clean. That is very important to me, so for an older place, I was thrilled! The owners were wonderful to deal with and I just wish that we had met them before we left.

Thank you Carol for being our very FIRST VRBO guest and for leaving our very first VRBO review. It was our pleasure to host you at our little slice of heaven. Glad you enjoyed the cottage, found it clean and comfortable. Retrofitting cottages as old as ours with ceiling fans is a challenge without doing an entire renovation. Thanks for understanding that cottages have quirks and are "uniquely different" than modern homes. We hope you'll stay with us again and we also wish that you had found us earlier.
