Cool rustic cottage

Nice little house with lots of space, neat country area close to the lake and all the happening lake restaurants. The owners are nice, and bring some treats for the stray cats!

Overall - Great place to stay for the price!

I ended up paying about $150 per night with taxes and fees for the place. It was great for the price! If you want a big fancy modern rental, this is not the one for you. This was a cute cozy place. The location is great. Close to the downtown area of Flowery Branch. Not too far from downtown Gainesville either. There are chickens on the property but they will leave you alone. My only complaint was that it was not stocked with much. There was no coffee or toiletries for guests so we had to go buy some. In the past rentals I have stayed in, they have had this stuff for guests. Overall, I would stay here again and recommend it!

2week stay

Cute place. Great location. Close to the lake for swimming each day. Air conditioner works great! It was really hot weather. Washer and dryer was a plus! Would stay again and again.

Unclean

Property had cigarettes in ashtrays, old coffee in pot and all over counters, dirty dishes. Overall it was uncomfortably unclean. I dont mind an old home but it needs to be clean. This one needs some help.

Flowery Branch bungalow

I had to contact customer service to get the owner to give a location. The listing should have had more info in it as to amenities. Again, I had to ask about internet, tv and air conditioning. When I arrived, I had to guess how to unlock the lock (no instructions, just the code, sent by text). THE KITCHEN WAS DIRTY. Crumbs on the counter and in toaster, oven is still dirty, stove top was dirty and vent above stove dirty. A DEAD ROACH WAS AND STILL IS HANGING BETWEEN KITCHEN CUPBOARD ABOVE DISH DRAINER.(I have a photo if you need it) The ceiling appears to be ASBESTOS TILE. The tiles had been repaired and had a 4ft square board patch in the kitchen. The walls in small bedroom were filthy. I had to clean the clear shower liner because it was covered in PINK MOLD. There was a dead roach under the kitchen trash can and droppings in the kitchen window. There is a huge splotch of something on the outside of the refrigerator. There was a dehumidifier on when we entered. The space was appropriate and I appreciated the washer and dryer. The unfinished bathroom had a hand held shower head that was a nice touch, but it could not be reached because it was mounted so high on the wall. And above all else, I developed a sinus infection. I think this property should be inspected.
