Donna, our amazing host, communicated with us throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. The cabin was incredibly clean, absolutely beautiful, and the bed was so comfortable we’ll definitely be returning.

What a beautiful property. The owner is full of such wonderful hospitality. Everything was so clean and tidy. She anticipated all our needs and desires. We will definitely be back!! The location was wonderful. Close to several N Ga attractions and the lake. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay.

Definitely a 5 star property and stay! Loved sitting on the porch with coffee listening to the birds. So very peaceful. Lots to do close by and great suggestions from our host for activities, restaurants and shopping. We will return!

This home is so much more than we hoped for. It is absolutely adorable, with all the comforts of home. Donna is the most amazing host we have ever had in all our years of using vacation rental homes. She reached out to us as soon as we booked. Her communication is quick and so helpful. She gave so many great recommendations and didn’t mind answering any questions or needs we had. She even asked a few of our favorite things and had a welcome gift with note waiting for us upon our arrival. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much Donna for everything.

Donna is a wonderful host! Hands down the best I’ve experienced with a VRBO. Her Lakeside Retreat is well furnished with everything that’ll make you feel at home or even disappointed to have to leave. For any fisherman and/or golfer, this is the place! There’s a very nice golf course and public boat ramp to one of the best spotted bass lakes in the SE approx 5 minutes away. I’m already looking forward to coming back next year. Thank again, Donna!

We traveled here for hiking and also visiting the Roswell/Alpharetta area. This home was perfect for our stay and was very comfortable. There are many things to do within a 30 minute drive of the cabin and once you come back to the home it is very peaceful and quiet. The property was cleaned very well and the decorations matched the season which was fun to see. The manager is easy to talk to and is very helpful if there are any questions or if there is an issue. I highly recommend visiting this home and will be returning.

Host was the best! Very quick and helpful responses to our questions and requests. The rental was beautiful, comfortable and clean. We prepared breakfast every day and we found everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. The location was quiet and felt safe. There are many restaurants and beautiful mountain areas to explore close by. We hope to return for another visit soon.

What a beautiful little house! We just loved staying there. We were impressed with all the extra little touches that Donna went to that made our stay so memorable. And such a nice woodsy neighborhood with views down to the lake. We will definitely be looking for any excuse to come back…soon!!

It has always been a dream of mine to own a cabin that I could rent on VRBO because I love to host, decorate, and meet new people. So after retiring from a job I adored for 31 years (teaching school) I bought Rob’s Retreat. Rob had a very successful business, so when he decided he was going to move and sell his place I immediately told him that I wanted to buy it. That’s how Lakeside Retreat started in November 2022.

I chose this neighborhood because it’s so quiet and peaceful yet only 4 miles away from stores and shopping. The people are wonderful here and of course it’s on the lake.

my property is unique because it’s only for couples. The only place around here just for two people. It’s very quaint, but beautiful as well. It is also stocked with drinks, breakfast foods, and snacks.
