Enjoyed the view of Auke Bay and the working harbor. The home was very clean and the accomodations were comfortable. The kitchen worked well for simple meals. I would recommend an update to the sink.

Very convenient location since the bus stops are right next door. We had no need for a car, since the bus functioned well to get to the glacier and downtown Juneau. There are some local dining options, with the Forbidden Peak Brewery being a short walk away. The Shack was quiet, and the adjacent property well manicured. We had a wonderful stay.

This location worked great for me. I loved looking out the side window at the forest. If there was noise it wasn’t noticeable to me. I needed a place to stay while my group was out fishing and it fit the bill perfectly. Thanks K for making everything so easy. If I’m back your way I will definitely stay again.

The challenge is that it’s located to the school bus storage lot, so lots of noise of buses backing up with that beep beep beep sound. Also, a blow dryer in the bathroom would have been a nice amenity.

Fantastic Stay

Great little property. We rented a car for our stay but didn’t have to drive far. Everything we wanted to do was close by. We were blessed with awesome weather. Place was clean, Wi-Fi worked great, bed was comfy! Loved our stay in the Shack.

The location was awesome! Loved getting to explore around the area. The shack was perfect for 2 people. Only wish they had darker curtains since the sun is out so early and late in the summer!

Celebration getaway

My daughter and I really enjoyed the stay. It was the right size for the two of us. Check in was very easy and simple. We saw the owners outside their house and chatted briefly. It’s out of the way and very quiet. Will certainly consider a stay again.
