Spectacular views & sunsets in Palmar

Condo 5E in Cozumel's amazing community, El Palmar. It offers spectacular views of the Caribbean from it's floor-to-ceiling sliding doors overlooking the sea.

The condo has a spacious layout with between kitchen, dining room and living room with comfy furniture and a gourmet kitchen. Both bedrooms come with private bathrooms and the master has direct access to the amazing balcony.

Guests of 5E will enjoy swimming in the immaculately maintained fresh water pool and relaxing in the hot tub. The pool deck is dotted by plenty of lounge chairs, tables and chairs and beds covered with sunshades. There are showers downstairs from the pool. Guests also have access to a tennis court, basketball court and a kids' area with a trampoline and playhouses in a grassy area.

Plus as guests of 5E, the rental management company, Your Cozumel Vacations, will be available to you before and throughout your stay to assist you with anything you need to make your stay more relaxing including arranging dive or snorkel trips, fishing trips, rental cars, massage, and more! Chef service and shopping service are available. Maid service is included. Your Cozumel also can provide rental cars from its rental car company, Quatro Amigos, with cars starting at $40 usd/day including tax and full coverage insurance.


Palmar is a secure building with plenty of parking. Scooter rental and 24 hour convenience store are right outside the gate. It is conveniently located on the oceanfront road near restaurants like Tikila, Paprika, Ernesto's Fajitas and Sunset Bar.

My spouse and I go to Cozumel pretty much every winter to get a little sun, sand, surf, snorkeling, and scuba, and we've stayed in a variety of places over the years. Of all the places we've stayed, the Palmar had the most beautiful and comfortable interiors. It's also in a terrific location, directly across the street from one of the best walk-in snorkeling spots on the the island, and south of the bustle of San Miguel (including the most intense cruise traffic), but close enough to make getting in and out of San Miguel a breeze. They also have a nice play area for kids, so it's well-suited to family trips.

Pool area very nice. Hot tub is lukewarm only. No ceiling fans but an outdoor standing fan can be moved indoors. Very nice place with quite a view of the ocean and majestic cruise liners drifting in and out of the pier area. Too far to walk to town, you will need a rental car. Fairly good value compare to in-town comprable properties. TV is large and has an HDMI input (hooked to a DVD player) for laptop movie nights.

Our condo was very clean and accommodating and in a great location. We rents scooters which were delivered to the condo. It was awesome to get up early, have a cup of coffee and watch the ships come in. Everyday new ships arrivedThe staff was exceptional VERY responsive to our needsThere is a laundry machine with detergent, beach towels, and all the kitchen amenities for cooking up your favorite meal. There is soap and shampoo in the showers.The pool was great - very large. The hot tub was our evening nightcap.At the end of our stay we were interviewed about how our stay could be better - I have not had that kind of experience before, so we all felt that attention to detail was very important to them.We did mention to the staff that the BR off the entry needs a curtain in the window to the hallway to block out the light, and having a little better nightstand lamps for reading. One more item worth noting, the furniture in the deck had no back rest pillows, so we used extras from the couch.Overall we loved our stay and would definitely book here again!!

8 days of wonderful!

This was the perfect landing spot for our self-directed Cozumel experience! We enjoyed coffee each morning on the large porch, watching the cruise ships come into port. The days were full of exploring and fun, and it was great to have this well-appointed and extremely comfortable spot to return to in the evening. We used the pool and hot tub a couple of times, very nice as well. The property managers were extremely responsive and had great recommendations for restaurants and activities!

Cozumel Dive Trip

The condo was clean and well kept. The Host was very responsive and readily available for anything needed. Also assist with a car rental, which was much appreciated and a much better experience.

Check these

Communication is responsive. The only three things I would suggest you check for, 1) Pillows on the couch have a odd odor. They are in desperate need of cleaning as well as the cushions, 2) The air filter was dirty. We were sneezing the first two days before noticing and reporting and 3) The dish washer door could not be shut due to the height and the depth of the washer. This part is a personal preference but the Master bedroom pillows are too flat. Aside from that, the location and view is nice and the response from any communication was handled within reason.

Nice. Condo

Our second time on the island and first at this location. In many ways it was the ideal location as it’s fairly central and was along the Ironman bike course enabling family to spectate without having to go too far. Would definitely stay here again.

Convenient and Comfotable

Highly recommend, we were able to spread out, have meals/snacks here, get work done with the great wifi and do laundry. It makes vacation packing lighter if you can run a load of wash. The view is beautiful, especially when the cruise ships go away! The water does not get hot like we are used to in the US. According to our friends from the US that live here that water situation is fairly typical for Cozumel. We did not mind as it was August but may be a challenge if you have been diving all day in the winter and come back needing to warm up. The unit has kitchen and laundry basics and they even left some snacks for us. The boys loved watching Netflix during downtime after dives. Will absolutely be booking this location again. Thanks for all!
