Amazing Spring Break

Three families stayed at the house over spring break. There were 12 of us total and we all had plenty of room. The house is absolutely gorgeous. Unbelievable views of the bay. I’d have to say the golf cart was a hit!

Beautiful home with the best views

This home is gorgeous. It’s has everything you will need. You can’t beat the views of the pool and spa overlooking the bay. It’s a short walk to the beach. There are plants of restaurants to walk to or just take the golf cart. The rooms were clean and the house emmaculent . Plenty of towels and space for everyone. We would love to stay here again! Thank you!

Lots of space & accommodations

Our 4 families fit perfectly with room to spare. Clean and updated design. Warm, heated pool was used often by kids during time when beach/ocean too cold. Enough parking for 6 cars (2 cars inside garage and 4 outside) if need be.

Amazing Family Reunion!

This property is absolutely perfect in every way. Our family truly enjoyed everything about it. The relaxing view of the intracoastal from the back was beautiful and the breeze was incredible. The house is well appointed and impeccably clean. The beds are very comfortable. Everyone enjoyed the mini golf and cornhole in the back yard, not to mention the pool table. The proximity to Bridge Street the weekend before Halloween couldn't be more perfect. If you're looking for a nice relaxing place to getaway for a large family, or friends, this is it!

Great location and pool

Loved the pool with a view of the pier, plus a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. 4 bikes were provided and were perfect for exploring the island and the adjacent Longboat Key. The house is lovely and generally well supplied, but could use some basics like salt/pepper, condiments, sugar, etc. in the kitchen. If you plan to get groceries and cook, note that there is nothing like cooking spray, oil, or spices so bring your own. Overall a great spot with amazing views in a cute neighborhood.

perfect house for our large group

Wow. Just wow! We are a group of college friends (now all with husbands or boyfriends traveling with us) and settled on a Florida trip to get together before the winter holidays. We searched Vrbo for a house that could accommodate us but have separate rooms + bathrooms so we could have a little space - this house was PERFECT for us. It feels brand new and the beds were so comfy! The pool is gorgeous and a good heated temp, plus its located on the water with beautiful views and breeze. The beach is just a few minutes walk away. Thanks for hosting us!

Was Great!!

First day when we arrive we find out that the freezer of the fridge was broke, frozen and no front door, after that we try to use the stove and we didn’t know how to use it since we don’t use industrial stoves at home, next day when we did a bbq the under cap that holds all the grease from the grill wasn’t there 😔 and at the check out day someone park a golf car in front of the house and we had the cars in the garage. Wasn’t cool, other than that was great. Great house.

Great place

Very nice house. Clean, great location, comfortable beds, great views of bay, well supplied with dishes and silverware, and beautiful pool. Short walk to nice town with cute shops and restaurants. WiFi was good. Router reset helped when internet was slow. Then it was fine. The check in and out and correspondence with rental company was very efficient. They did a great job of making sure we were updated on everything, and helped with any issues immediately. The only suggestions for improvement would be bigger toaster and better coffee pot. We all look forward to returning someday. It really was one of the nicest houses we have stayed in. We look forward to returning someday. It was one of the best places we have stayed.

Stunning

This beautiful home is stunning. Offer’s everything you need to feel like a millionaire for your entire trip. Ever bedroom is decorated lovely and comfortable with private bathrooms. The pool is so refreshing and relaxing. Love the view of the Bay. My kids loved everything about the house. Location to the beach is directly across the rd. You can walk it in mins. Or drive over and park or do like we did and rent an electric golf cart from Zoom Around and take it to the beach. Then use it to zoom around the island . The pier is just mins away for fishing, eating or water activities. I would suggest a sunset cruise with Rick and Andrea . So much to do but the house is so beautiful you may not want to leave it.

Great house. Not great management.

The house was 5 stars BUT... Everyone loved the pool/hot tub and putt putt. The size of the rooms/beds/showers were great. Kitchen was big enough for all 17 of us to gather around and talk for hours without feeling smushed. The view from the rooftop was amazing and there’s enough room for 9 cars really. Every shower had hot water every time. The grill worked well. Fridge was big enough to fit everything. The elevator was very helpful. Bath towels, pool towels, hair dryers, toiletries were provided. With that being said, AMI locals did not meet my expectations. Had to email, text, and then finally call them to get the house code almost 2 hours after they said they would send it. They really didn’t provide anything. For a place that sleeps 20 people, there should be more than 4 pool chairs and more than 1 couch outside. Should be chairs on the rooftop just like the other 2 houses right beside it. Should provide way more kitchen supplies such as trash bags, paper towels, etc. You can’t change the thermostat. The pool lights didn’t work and they said they would put in a work order for it, 2 days went by and still nothing. For the price tag to rent this place, I would expect more from the leasing company.

Property was not what we expected.

Property overall was very dirty. The freezer door is broken and barely opens it looks like the front plate may have been glued on. A lot of little bugs on the counters. Batteries and wires are hanging out of the bypass button on the ground floor exit to the pool. We didn’t need the button anyway but very noticeable. Floor in the main area was dirty. The kitchen utensils were dirty. It had an old school coffee maker no keurig. No patio table, no umbrella and only 4 lounge chairs. So a group of ten won’t be able to be in the sun by the pool. The shower in one of the main floor bedrooms leaks water all over the floor. Only 2 dumpsters outside which fill up quick when you have 10 people in a house. No ice maker on the property so you’ll be buying bags of ice. Balcony on main floor is small and won’t fit more than 5 people comfortably. Only bonus is historic Bridge Street is a 1 minute walk with shops, bars, and restaurants. Beach is a 5 minute walk across the main drag. You do see dolphins everyday quite often very close in the bay. Property was for sale and pending last time I checked so that may explain the desperate need for repairs. I’ve stayed with the same group in multiple million dollar rental homes and this one was by far the worse condition of them all. I wouldn’t recommend staying here until the house has been fully repaired and cleaned.

Family time

My family consisted of 10 adults, two teenagers and four children under three. Size of the home, and the fact that it had eight bedrooms all with full bathrooms was excellent. Pool Jacuzzi, and a large double garage is plenty of space for our cars and on lovely Ana Maria Island. This was all wonderful, but they kind of ruined it with the fact that the home was not the cleanest. The living room kitchen dining room are all small and right together so with that many people it was very loud. Children were running and lots of conversations if you can imagine with that many people. One refrigerator, unbelievable, nowhere near enough room to put our items. And the front of the freezer kept falling off they fixed it once, but it fell off again. There were several things in the home doors that wouldn’t shut completely. There was a washer and dryer, but the dryer didn’t work properly. It took restarting it several times in a few hours before it would dry anything. But the amount that this home cost to rent unbelievable that they supplied a little bottle of dish soap, and two dishwasher pods two toilet tissues in each bathroom and one paper towel roll. If we use those we had to bring our own. Also, there was only two dish towels, we ended up buying a couple more hand towels just to do dishes. I will say there was plenty of towels in the bathrooms. I’ve stayed at several VRBO homes and never have. I had to supply items like this. The home is three floors plus an upper deck on top outside. There was an elevator, but two people got stuck in it. We finally got them out and we’re afraid to use it again. This was also a celebration of life for my sister, so the family went up to the top outside to watch the sunset Large deck up there which is nice but no furniture whatsoever. I say this because the two homes on each side are also rentals, and both of them had nice tables and chairs and things to sit on. There was nothing up here the view was beautiful and as I said, Ana Maria Island is a wonderful place I live across the intercoastal in Cortez, so I am very familiar with the area.
