Hidden Retreat on 30 Wooded Acres 5 Miles to Town

Unwind at our retreat situated on 30 wooded acres, yet only 10 minutes from Bloomington. Evoking a rustic warmth with modern comforts, the house is lovingly decorated with all the amenities you could desire.

Guests will be able to enjoy all that Bloomington has to offer, or if a quiet evening in is what you're after you can relax on the sun deck or cozy up by the fireplace.

This is an entirely separate 2 bed/2 bath guest house with a private entrance. We live in the main house, but you'll have full privacy during your stay. While we'll likely be home, we will be sure to keep to ourselves unless needed.

Behind the house is a hiking trail, in which you'll likely have deer, rabbit, turtle, and turkey sightings.

If you happen to be here on a Friday between 5-7PM, just down the road is Muddy Fork Bakery, Indiana's only wood-fired brick-oven bakery. Here you can purchase breads, pastries, granolas, and flours.

Hoosier National Forest & Lake Lemon are minutes away if you're feeling a little outdoorsy.

This is the perfect vacation rental! It’s impeccably clean, offers wonderful amenities for families and couples, and has bonus fun including hiking trails, toys, and lovely porches. AND the beds were the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on in a rental!

Beautiful, peaceful natural setting

This modern, well-designed property is deep in the forest, with walking trails to enjoy. We only stayed one night en route to Chicago, but enjoyed the outdoors and slept like babies. Lovely.

Cute place!

Love this place! So cute and appreciated the access to Netflix, the coffee provided by the host, the reasonable price, and more. A beautiful drive to and from the IU campus. Loved being in the woods surrounded by hills and animal life. A great place to stay!

BEST VRBO ever!

We loved staying in this beautiful home! Surrounded by woods, it felt like a private retreat. Every detail of the home was perfect--great decor, comfortable beds, high-quality amenities. Everything we needed was there. An extra bonus was our hosts, Ryan and Rachel. They made us feel right at home and were very helpful and engaging. We were VERY reluctant to leave, it was such a great experience and a beautiful home on a ridge top. We are starting to plan another trip to Bloomington, just so that we can stay here again and see Ryan and Rachel.

Beautiful and peaceful central location for family visit.

This lovely property gave us a beautiful, quiet & peaceful place to stay for 4 nights over the Easter holiday while we visited family and friends in the area. The hosts were amazing, helpful and friendly and very respectful of our privacy. We look forward to staying here again!

Fantastic Destination

Modern, relaxing, comfortable guest house with all the amenities you need. We highly recommend this guest house for any stay around the Bloomington IN area. There are hiking trails starting out the back door. Very nice!

Perfect Stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The house was so extremely clean and charming. The beds were so comfortable, and the fireplace added to the cozy feel. We would definitely stay here again! I can't recommend this place enough!

Perfect!!

We all agreed we would build this house for ourselves at home! perfect floor plan, high quality finishes and appliances with beautiful decor. We also loved the variety of places to hang out, covered porch, deck, screened in porch and cozy living room. I would highly recommend this home to anyone. It was only minutes from Bloomington, a little trek to Nashville and in a remote(ish) valley, but well worth the interesting drive!

Wonderful Reunion in a Perfect Spot

The property was perfect as a getaway with old friends. The house was spotless and the kitchen was well-stocked. Though it is only 10 minutes from downtown Bloomington, the quiet and peace of the woods is right outside your door. Don't miss the bakery up the road if you are there on a Friday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 -- great bread hot out of the oven. Rachel was welcoming and available to answer any questions. We look forward to a return visit!

Spectacular Getaway

Our stay in this beautiful hidden retreat was nothing short of spectacular. It was very secluded and private. The 30 acre woods is a very relaxing walk and has a very clear path so you don’t loose your way. The owners are excellent to respond very promptly with any questions or concerns s you may have, I can’t say enough to encourage you to try this beautiful location. We will definitely stay again! Beautiful & extremely private

This was only 15 mins from my daughter in Bloomington (she lives near the college mall). We had the the house, garage, woods to ourselves. The place was gorgeous inside and out.. the road getting there had a detour so our gps took us a different route that was a little challenging for us since we were trailering our bass boat. The street is considered a 1 lane/car street so just be aware if you are trailering any thing.
