If you are looking for an authentic Cajun experience, then look no further! Maison Bon Temps was the home of the 2001 Crawfish Queen! From the custom cypress wainscoting to the crawfish capital of the world decor, this home oozes everything that is special about the Cajun culture. This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom home sits on a large lot with pool and pool house that has another full bathroom. The backyard oasis has a large patio that is great for entertaining and the ice cold pool is sure to beat the heat!

Conveniently located right off of I-10 this gem is minutes from Cajun Palms RV Resort, the Atchafalaya Basin, Lake Martin, Bayou Teche Brewery, and an abundance of restaurants specializing in the Cajun food that put Breaux Bridge on the map. Downtown Breaux Bridge will entice all of your senses. Cross the famous crawfish adorned bridge for local favorites like Award wining Cafe Sydnie Mae, the world famous Zydeco Breakfast at Buck and Johnny’s, antique shopping, and Joie de Vivre coffee shop. Take in a swamp tour on the Atchafalaya Basin and finish off the evening dancing the night away at La Poussiere Cajun Dancehall that has been open since 1955.

Breaux Bridge is only 10 miles from The Lafayette Regional Airport and The University of Louisiana at Lafayette, home of the Ragin Cajuns!

The pool was great & the fire pit had wood already set, ready for a fire! Communication was excellent. We enjoyed ourselves so much we booked another stay!

Awesome house and grounds for our stay during the Crawfish Festival. We are quite meticulous in our decision where we book to stay during our vacations, but this is the first house within the U.S. that we absolutely would go back to in a heartbeat. It was so nice and quiet and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting out in the morning and listening and watching all the birds we don't have in Michigan.Logistically speaking, the house is 5-10 minutes away from everything you would need except the airport in Lafayette. It was an absolute fantastic stay. Everything was clean, the master bed was very comfortable, the fire pit was great on cooler nights, and the pool was INCREDIBLY refreshing when that Louisiana sun and humidity came out at the tail end of our trip.

This was our first time not staying at a hotel or with family while in the area and we loved the house. We loved the theme and the cosiness of the house. It had all the comforts of home and some we don't have at home. It was like being at our own private resort! That were too many added features to mention. Breaux Bridge House

This was the perfect place for our family vacation! The house was immaculate, the pool was so refreshing after a hot day at the Crawfish festival and the beds were comfortable. We totally enjoyed our stay and 100% recommend!

Great Stay!

This is my 2nd stay at this home. Again, it is cozy and very clean. We had a small gathering for my daughter's graduation, and the back yard area and pool were amazing. We had a fantastic stay, close to great restaurants and a beautiful Catholic church. Feels just like home, even better.

Incredible property! The house is great with everything you could need including treats the hosts leave for you. Backyard and pool are a dream. Perfect for a quiet, relaxing getaway. Needed to call about a small issue and they were there within the hour fixing the issue. This is our 3rd time staying here and will continue to make it a yearly trip.

Spectacular

The home was perfectly clean and decorated. I could tell walking in it is a well loved and cared fore property. Absolutely perfect for family, we had 2 young kids and 2 dogs. The fence was great! Outdoor area and pool were amazing as well. No complaints whatsoever.

We know all things cajun from the one of a kind cooking to the festivals we are known for. Our family has represented the World Famous Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival which is held the first full weekend in May by holding several prestigious titles such as Crawfish Queen, Little Baby Pincher, Little Baby Master Pincher, and we have named our rooms accordingly. You can count on us to let you know about the best places to eat, shop, have a cocktail, enjoy family friendly activities, and pass a good time cher'.
