Relaxed waterfront home nestled under a shady oak about 2 miles to Old Town

This waterfront home is tucked away on a quiet, tree lined street just about 2 miles from Old Town. Nestled under the shade of an old oak, the porch is a favorite spot for waking up with morning coffee and happy hour cocktails in the evening.
A large, fully stocked, kitchen which includes a dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, electric stove/oven, microwave and essential small appliances has a dining area and countertop seating. The kitchen is open to the living area with a large recliner and leather sectional sofa (with fold out bed). The open plan is perfect for visiting or just hanging out watching movies. The full size washer and dryer can handle those bathing suits, beach towels and other laundry. Three comfortable bedrooms with ceiling fans (two with TVs) wait for you at the end of the day.
Downstairs is open and airy with a propane (included) BBQ grill, sink, bathroom, swing, outdoor TV and receiver, small fridge, picnic bench, hammock and ceiling fans and still enough room to park one car under the house. A fire pit in the backyard comes in handy for s'mores.

Bring your boat or jet skis! A two minute cruise down the canal and you're at the mouth of the Jourdan River and right into the bay. Another 15 to 20 minutes and you'll reach the Bay St. Louis Harbor which offers free day docking while you enjoy a visit to Old Town. There is no launch on the property. Cedar Point Boat Launch at the end of North Beach Blvd., behind Hollywood Casino, is the nearest. The property has plenty enough room to park your trailer while your boat is docked out back.

Everything BSL has to offer is only about 2 miles away:
Old Town, beaches, grocery stores, restaurants, bars, Hollywood Casino, local antique shops/boutiques, art galleries, coffee houses, doughnut shops, gas stations and liquor stores. Close to everything but tucked away from the beaten path!

The lift is for CARGO ONLY such as luggage, ice chests, groceries, etc. PEOPLE MUST USE THE STAIRS.

Super relaxing stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Quiet neighborhood and a short drive to downtown bay St. Louis. Super clean house and great attention to detail. We loved the downstairs outdoor area with the TV and speakers. It was a very relaxing trip

Memorial Day Fishing Trip

The property was perfect for our needs! The location suited our needs perfectly and everything was extremely clean. The patio was perfect for relaxing after a long day fishing. When we go back to the area to fish again, we will definitely book with Dawn!

Wonderful getaway in BSL

The home was exactly as pictured on the listing and was in a peaceful area that we were looking for. The living space outside was just as enjoyable as the space inside. Our family would book this on our next trip to visit family in the area. Thank you Dawn and Allan for being so welcoming and providing a great place to stay.

Perfect family getaway

The location was ideal. A short drive to old town bay st. Louis. Secluded away in privacy but yet close enough to to town for whatever you may need/want. The camp was clean, spacious, accommodating. Our host Dawn was beyond helpful in anything we needed and literally thought of everything you could need. Highly recommend and looking forward to going back .

Family trip

Amazing home to stay in. Beautiful inside and out. Everything that was needed was there. Mrs. Dawn was the absolute BEST with communicating things. We will be staying here again on the next Bay family trip. Highly recommend if you want a nice & very peaceful place on the canal.

Everything was perfect! Spotless, comfortable home located on a canal. Quiet neighborhood and very relaxing. Had everything we needed both inside and out. Hosts were excellent to work with. I highly recommend this gem!

Great place to unwind

My two sisters and I really enjoyed our stay here. We wanted a nice quiet place to get away, relax and catch up with each other and this was the perfect place to do that. It’s in a beautiful, nice neighborhood, but not too far from town with nice places to dine and shop also close enough to take a short ride to the beach if you want too. I was impressed with how clean it was and it was also very comfy and equipped with all the essentials of home.

The house was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed the downstairs area the most. Lots of chairs and tables, a TV with access to YouTube TV, mounted speakers to play your favorite tunes on, a double sided sink and bathroom reduced the trips upstairs. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with dishes etc. Dawn was an excellent communicator. Would definitely stay here again.

LOVED EVERY MINUTE!!

We had a fantastic time. Breakfast at the house then beach time. After the beach had lunch out someplace different everyday. After lunch spent the evening’s fishing, reading downstairs and cooking up fresh seafood from a local market. Dawn was quick to respond to all of our questions and gave us some great local restaurant recommendations which did not disappoint. Only sad thing is when we want to go back down to the coast her property is booked up. We will definitely return.

Amazing

We love this property so much! We immediately felt at home and welcome. The neighborhood was beautiful and quite. My littles might have been a little on the loud side. The decor, amenities and overall feeling of the home was just so relaxing and inviting. It is wonderful for outdoor entertainment as well. My husband's grandparents lived in Bay St Louis until Hurricane Katrina took their home on the bay so we go down from time to time to take the kids to the beach for the day. He decided he wanted to stay for the weekend and do some fishing, and we found this beautiful home. Thank you so much to Dawn for making our stay feel like we were at home! We will definitely be back!

House on the Jordan River

Nice and comfortable. My husband was able to fish a little off the dock, a little too cool for it but he did want to try. Quiet neighborhood, no problem with anything… easy to communicate with owner if you hav3 any problems.

I grew up just outside of New Orleans and Allan is from Natchez, MS. My career in television has offered me the opportunity to meet all kinds of people which is the best part of the job. After almost 37 years in the corporate world, Allan retired from his first job out of college. I enjoy many artistic outlets while Allan likes getting his hands dirty restoring classic cars. Needless to say, Cruisin' the Coast every October is his favorite time of year!

Location is everything! Just an hour from New Orleans, this is the place to relax, slow down and unwind. Our street is so quiet, it's a world away from "real life" and close to everything in BSL. The elevation is slightly higher here so flooding has never been an issue....with the exception of a couple of hurricanes.

The house is centered on a large lot which offers a comfortable distance between the neighbors. Since only one side of the street is developed, this location is ideal for a quiet getaway. Just a little over two miles to Old Town puts you in the heart of where things are happening. Bay St. Louis' laid back pace is perfect when a break is needed, but a few local restaurants serving great food and live music offer the party you may be looking for!
