This is a two bedroom, one bath, full kitchen cabin in a peaceful location. It is perfect for enjoying a quiet weekend getaway or an extended stay. Pigeon River State Forest is directly out your back door. Great location for hiking, hunting, and fishing. ORV trail access nearby. Optimal area for enjoying the beautiful color changes of fall. Only 2 miles from I-75 and gas station offering off road fuel 2 miles away. Tubing, kayaking or canoeing are a local favorite activities. 35 mins to Mackinaw or Petoskey. 20 mins to Gaylord. 15 mins to Indian River. Can’t wait to be your host at cabin in the woods!

Stayed here over memorial day weekend the cabin was very clean quiet and cozy full kitchen charcoal grill and fire pit i would rate 10 out of 10 definitely one ill be staying staying at again

Perfect getaway

This property was a perfect weekend getaway spot. It was just enough outside of town, but still easy to find. Everything was clean, and the fire pit was even set up for the first fire! The king bed was super comfy, and with the black-out curtains provided me amazing sleep every night. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely Cabin in the Woods.

Very comfortable stay. Immaculately clean and a comfortable King size bed. The house felt roomy. Loved the deck for morning coffee and evening relaxing.

Peaceful retreat in the woods

I booked this house for a three day stay while participating in a trail riding event in the Wolverine area. Since we were away all day, our stay was limited to evenings only. It was neat and clean and worked well for our needs through the weekend.

Easily accessible while still so private

Such a beautiful location! Sadly a mostly rainy weekend but the house was so spacious we were still able to enjoy board games and the kids could run around without bothering the others.

Enjoyed the stay

My wife and I based out of the house for day trips in the Northern Lower (Cheboygan, Mackinaw Island, Petosky, Charlevoix, Boyne Falls). Good central location for that and the house and property were great for that.

Peaceful stay

Location is conveniently close to expressway, slightly off beaten path, but peaceful and quiet nonetheless! Cabin was exactly like pictures shown. Very spacious, clean, owner super responsive and check in/out process was a breeze! Thank you!

Two thumbs up!

We had a great time, host went out of his way to accommodate our needs. Could use A/C, and be careful on a motorcycle - its on a gravel road, but I highly recommend.

Great location

Great location. Host and house are great. We had a wedding in the area so this was the perfect solution. I can see us renting this again in the future. It was the perfect place for us. Thanks for being a great host.

Peaceful and Enjoyable

The property is exactly what our family loves! Peacefulness in a secluded area. We were only 15 minutes away from our home away from home; Indian River! We had deer right out the back door in the morning while we drank coffee. We will be back!

Cabin stay

The cabin was the refectory size for the four of us. The only issue we had was it was very difficult to cool off the cabin. We were very warm even with all the fans going 24/7.

Excellent cabin in great location

Stayed here with friends for a dirt bike trip to the tomahawk trail system. We couldn't be happier with our stay. The property is in a pretty secluded location but yet only minutes from town to a gas station and a few great places to eat. There was also a canoe rental place in town we used which was a great time. We had zero complaints staying here and would definitely stay again.

Family wedding and concert

Located in quiet woodsy area on non paved road. Had events to attend each day of five day stay. Cabin was spacious and comfortable. No TV or internet connection.

Stay in the woods!

We were very pleased with the condition of the cottage in the woods! It was exactly as depicted in the online listing! Very quiet and easy access to main highway! We would recommend this stay to anyone that wants to stay in northern Michigan!
