Rustic Cabin on River just off the beaten path

Welcome to our Rustic Cozy cabin. Situated on a small river with a nice backyard, an outdoor firepit and dock. You are nested in the great outdoors with wildlife all around. This property also has one other cabin and a house that we rent as well. Inside we offer WIFI and direct TV for all guests! Fresh beds and a clean cabin is what you should expect. Bathrooms come stocked with towls, rags, and complentary soaps if needed. The kitchen includes a variety of cooking utensil, pots, pans, coffee pot, microwave, etc. In the living you you can watch TV or start the gas fireplace to fill time. Keep in mind the couch is a pull out bed! Lastly a washer and dryer is available in the cabin for your use. If you have any questions before your stay, please feel free to reach out!

Usually spend a week camping in the area chasing after elk in the Pigeon River State Forest. Due to other obligations this year, my father and I were only able to get away for 2 nights. This cabin was perfect for our needs. It was clean, cozy, and had everything that we needed. The owners even added some surprises with complimentary snacks and toiletries.

Great spot for a pet friendly get away! Enjoyed a cozy and comfortable weekend stay at the cabin with my dogs. Location was very quiet and peaceful with beautiful view of the stars from the large deck at night. The cabin was clean and set up with everything you could need during your stay. Easy check in and out and prompt communication from host.

It was awesome!

We had a great time! The cabin was clean and arranged and prepared in a way that was very welcoming! We are so grateful we found and were able to stay at the “Rustic Cabin on River just off the beaten path.” A major bonus was being able to bring our two dogs! We are already looking forward to booking again in the not too distant future.

Quiet and relaxing

The cabin was great and we were accommodated on short notice. Communication was fast and efficient. The big plus, they allowed dogs and did not charge extra for our furnabies who thoroughly enjoyed the large yard to play in. The host had snacks and personal hygiene products arranged for guests and the cabin was stocked with pretty much anything needed! Definitely recommend this cabin and area!

Blissful Snowy Retreat

We loved this cozy cabin! Set away from the city on a nice size piece of land, we enjoyed playing in the snow with our elementary age kids, Dalmatian and G. Dane. The location was also excellent for traveling around northern MI, and the U.P. and exploring. We were big fans of the mud room as our home doesn’t have one. Looking forward to booking this cabin again!
