This is your private retreat—full access to a nature-infused getaway! The home is incredibly pet-friendly.
A perfect location for those who enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, birding, or simply relaxing in nature. The island offers many activities despite its quiet and small stature. We welcome you to the “secret” of the San Juan Islands, just a short ferry ride from Anacortes, Washington.

PNW native who loves everything the PNW has to offer from hiking, biking, kayaking, beach combing, and birding. I bring along our two amazing doggos - Zeek and Addison. When not outside I enjoy puzzles, books, and binge watching tv/movies.

I am a librarian and am very passionate that knowledge should be a public good. While I love my day job it can be hard to see the result of hard work. With hosting I can see our guests benefit and enjoy the hard work that we put into The Dragonfly. It's incredibly rewarding and reminds us of how truly unique and special the home and location is.

Guemes Island is such a unique spot it's hard to not fall in love. Going to the island feels like you are escaping the city with just a 5-minute ferry ride. You can enjoy hiking, biking, and beach combing from this peaceful home The food at the Guemes Island General Store is fantastic and in my opinion has the best French fries in the PNW.

The home is situated within 2.5 acres of woods that are adjacent to the Guemes Island Cemetery. The local island park is within walking distance. Very peaceful and secluded. Very dog friendly!
