The property was extremely clean and well described and appeared exactly as photographed. Communication with the host was easy and convenient and the check in/out process was smooth. The house had lovely upgrades and amenities! The road into the property was a typical, hilly mountain road so be prepared for that. We loved the quiet and conveniently located neighborhood. Only a couple of small things would have made our stay better but they were minor (cooking spray, curtains over open windows, hooks in bathroom) We would love to stay here again!

The rental was so cute and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was amazing. We unfortunately were only able to stay the weekend and never got a chance to use the hot tub but we did look at it on arrival. It was very clean and felt nice and warm.

Get away first time to the mountain!

It was mainly roads and internet lagging! But we are at the mountains!Good experience and very exclusive! Overall! New experience and enjoyed !

We stayed here four nights in July 2025. The house is attractive and feels surprisingly spacious despite the modest size. The front room has a high ceiling and lots of windows. The bedroom is roomy and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge, and the bathroom contains a large shower with nice design features. We appreciated having the washer and dryer, and the front porch was a great place to drink coffee and watch bunnies in the mornings! The location is convenient to Bryson City, Cherokee, Sylva, Deep Creek and lots more. Reaching the house requires a short drive along a one-lane road with some blind curves, which was a little nerve-wracking the first few times. But all in all, this is a great little house!

This property was a perfect getaway for a long weekend with easy access to Bryson City and Cherokee. Home is secluded but close to all the area attractions. Very comfortable bedding and perfect size for a couple or small family.

Peaceful Weekend Getaway

This home was perfect for a weekend getaway for two. The setting was quiet and peaceful. The home was very nice, extremely clean, and well maintained. The bed was so comfortable. We loved the rain head shower. The hot tub was a big perk. We hiked and went to the casino during our stay and the location was ideal right between downtown Bryson and Cherokee. Would definitely recommend and we plan to return!

Clean, fully stocked and super convenient!

We’ve taken several trips to the the Cherokee and Bryson City area over the years and this was bar far one of our best rentals. The house was just as advertised, perfectly stocked with everything you could need and easy to get to.

Amazing Weekend Getaway

If you are looking for an awesome little getaway spot this is it!! This place is unbelievably clean, private surroundings, and close to Bryson City and Cherokee. King size bed in the master has the best mattress for a great restful sleep. The hosts are easy to work with and very responsive to questions. We will definitely stay here again and also consider their other properties through Rustic Rest Cabins!!

Exceptional Home

Can I just say I absolutely loved the rain shower! My favorite part was the sleeping loft (bunk bed). This place was exceptionally clean and we loved the layout of the home and enjoyed the fire pit and brand new hot tub. Highly recommend!

Wouldn’t have changed absolutely NOTHING about the home! Only thing that was disappointing was we had to leave a day early due to being self employed. One of the BEST properties we have ever stayed in loved it!!

Quick weekend getaway

Unit was very nice & clean. Wanted to use the hot tub but it read cleaning solution was over due to be changed by 80 days. Other than constant dog barking at lower neighbor out front, we enjoyed our stay! Thank you.

My name is Brian Whitener. My wife Sarah and I love the Smoky Mountains of Western NC! I also enjoy photography, biking, woodworking, and spending time with my lovely wife Sarah. Our passion is to see people experience a place of rest and rejuvenation from their busy everyday lives. My wife and I believe our cabin, this area, and the naturally beautiful surroundings of Bryson City NC provide such a place to reconnect with family and friends! We are excited to share the cabin with you and we know you will find it most relaxing! We also really enjoy assisting all of our guests experience the most fulfilling time possible while here. There are so many hiking trails, waterfalls, and things to do it can become overwhelming! Once you have booked with us and have reviewed our Area Information Page please feel free to ask us any questions about any of the excursions listed!

Another benefit of booking with us is the experience and level of control we have over our property. My wife Sarah and I manage the property ourselves and therefore control cleaning products that are used in the home. Our goal is to have as chemical free environment as possible. We proudly use Mrs. Meyers products, hydrogen peroxide based(bleach free) bathroom cleaner, paraben free naturally derived body wash, and 100% natural essential oils for our cabin’s signature scent. The hot tub is chlorine free; we use Bromine, a safer way to sanitize the spa.
