Situated on a multi-family property with Suite 35A above, it offers privacy, separate entrances, and a shared central heating & cooling system. A welcoming space with an authentic Kenyan touch - Designed for simplicity, comfort, and function. You’ll notice that our decor includes rare pieces imported directly from Kenya, along with gently used furniture (excluding mattresses, linens, TVs, and TV stands—all of which are new). The gently used pieces have some visible scratches, which we purposely keep as part of the Kenyan home aesthetic, focusing on humility and functionality rather than hiding imperfections.

We welcome all cats and dogs, including shedding breeds, while ensuring a well-maintained space. To balance fairness and cleanliness, our pet policy includes fees and deposits (per pet with a 2 pet maximum) to encourage responsible pet ownership.

🧼 We professionally deep-clean the grill weekly (typically early morning Saturdays or Sundays in time for lunch BBQ), and ask guests to kindly clean after personal use. Propane is provided by your host, so all you need to bring is your appetite and favorite grillables!

🐾 Pet-Friendly Stay – Pet Policy
We only accept responsible pet parents who prioritize their pet's well-being. Pets cannot be left unattended in the suite for more than four hours. Pet owners must arrange proper care to prevent separation anxiety, neglect, and lack of food or water while they are away. Additionally, dogs must be taken out regularly for walks and must have companionship, especially in a new environment, to help ease stress and ensure their overall well-being.

Outdoor Supervision: Dogs must never be left alone in the yard.
Furniture Rules: No dogs on beds/couches unless covered.

Litter Box Requirement: While we provide a clean litter box for your use during the stay, guests must provide their own non-tracking litter.

Supervision: Cats should not be left unattended for extended periods.

A 3x to 5x refundable security deposit may be required to cover potential damage or wear and tear. b. A double cleaning fee will be applied to account for additional time and effort. c. Children must be supervised at all times and are not allowed to run or play indoors. Outdoor play in designated areas (yard, porch, etc.) is encouraged instead. d. Government-Issued ID Required – Valid ID for all adults on the reservation. Primary renter must be 25+.
Lease Agreement – A lease is required for all stays to ensure clear expectations.
Refundable Damage Deposit – A $200 deposit is collected for incidentals, plus an additional pet damage deposit for pet-friendly stays ($300 per pet). Refunded promptly after checkout.
Third-Party Bookings:We do not accept third-party bookings. The person booking must be the one staying. This policy is in place due to past issues. Direct bookings lead to smoother, more respectful experiences for everyone involved.
Note: Instant Booking is not enabled for this property. To ensure a smooth experience, all booking steps must be completed within 24 hours to avoid cancellation or decline. We prioritize guests with platform history and positive reviews. If that applies to you, the note below may not be relevant. We do consider guests with new profiles, no reviews, or a recent negative review on a case-by-case basis. While we prioritize protecting our home and neighborhood, we also believe in second chances and allowing guests the opportunity to earn a new positive review by demonstrating a clear shift from any previously noted behavior.
